Score another victory for Obama.
The Obama regime has been doing everything possible to cripple American energy resources. He has rejected the Keystone Pipeline, which will send Canada’s oil to China.
But have no fear. Obama’s great relationship with Brazil and the loan guarantees the American taxpayers have given, will get us Brazilian oil. Right?
Well, maybe not.
From the Washington Times:
Off the coast of Rio de Janeiro — below a mile of water and two miles of shifting rock, sand and salt — is an ultradeep sea of oil that could turn Brazil into the world’s fourth-largest oil producer, behind Russia, Saudi Arabia and the United States.
The country’s state-controlled oil company, Petrobras, expects to pump 4.9 million barrels a day from the country’s oil fields by 2020, with 40 percent of that coming from the seabed. One and a half million barrels will be bound for export markets.
The United States wants it, but China is getting it.
Less than a month after President Obama visited Brazil in March to make a pitch for oil, Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff was off to Beijing to sign oil contracts with two huge state-owned Chinese companies.
The deals are part of a growing oil relationship between the two countries that, thanks to a series of billion-dollar agreements, is giving China greater influence over Brazil’s oil frontier.
Chinese oil companies are pushing to meet mandatory expansion targets by inking deals across Africa and Latin America, but they are especially interested in Brazil.
Great. Not only is Obama destroying our energy resources, but the foreign resources that we are giving our tax dollars to help develop are going to our arch rival, China.
Great. Another fine victory from the Obama regime.
To err is human, but to really screw things up, you need to Obama regime.
There is an alternative. We can get leadership in office who will work to crash oil prices for Americans.
Of course, Obama has no interest in Americans having cheap and abundant fuel. That is not in his socialist dream for America.

Oil Speculators/Hedge Funds has and continue run up oil prices, this is what is economical damaging. I would suggest everyone on this site to read "Secret Weapon" by Kevin D. Freeman.
Obama is against any pro-capitalist business in the US that would make us independent, it is against his socialist progressive anti-colonist beliefs. He is a George Sorres's One World Government puppet.

Dont' forget George Soros owns Petrobas, and he is Obama's biggest funder. Not only what's written above, but also when we had the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and Obama shut down our drilling, the equipment went to Brazil. Probably never to return.

EXCELLENT point, Kristin!
If the mainstream media were doing their jobs, someone would have, by now, investigated George Soros' influence and insider status in the Obama administration. I'm sure there's a wealth of shady deals there that the American people would be furious over.
But, when you have the President of the United States in your back pocket .....

Barack Obama does not have the Constitutional authority to say no to this deal. Article 2, Section 8 of the U.S.Constitution grants Congress the right to regulate trade with foreign nations, between states, and with Indian tribes. This deal was a trade deal with Canada. As I write this, several Congress members, from both parties, are already working to circumvent this suicidal and unconstitutional decision by the current occupant of our country's White House. This can and will be undone, but it would be helpful if we all deluged all of our Congress Critters with our full-fledged support for them to circumvent Obama on this matter, as the Constitution demands they must do. We must have this pipeline.

You have to remember, though, that the President and the Executive branch (specifically the State Department) can agree to and sign (or not sign) treaties and trade agreements between the US and other countries. In this case, the State Department signed off on Keystone (not once, but twice), but Obama still rejected it. Congress (the Senate) has an advise-and-consent role in treaties, but the President does have a wide latitude in dealing with foreign governments. Remember, too, that TransCanada (the international company that proposed the deal) is acting at the behest of the Canadian government - which makes it a foreign affairs issue, which comes under the State Department - which works for Obama.
There may indeed be something that could be done from Congress' standpoint, but part of all this is a delaying tactic by Obama to push ANY final move after the elections. And he CAN order Hillary Clinton and the State Department to delay any moves for months - even though her department wants the deal. That's what happens when you work for a bad boss.
Now, Hillary can resign over it - if she were a Republican, she probably would - but Obama's still the boss ... and her replacement would still have to follow his orders, whether they liked it or not.
