The military tribunal that is handling the 9/11 capital cases has issued a scheduling order. That would not be major news in and of itself except that the Court is going to hold hearings during the Muslim event called Ramadan. They will also hold hearings on the 9/11 anniversary.

A military judge overseeing the Sept. 11 conspiracy trial at Guantanamo has set the next hearing in the case for five days during Ramadan, and says the month when Muslim fast during the day is no excuse for a delay.
Army Col. James L. Pohl, the judge, made note of the holy month, in a scheduling order that grappled with the complexities of mounting the joint capital trial of accused 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed and four alleged accomplices at the base in southeast Cuba..
He set the hearing for Aug. 8-12, a first ever war court session that would convene on a Saturday and a Sunday. Members of the five separate defense teams had reported conflicts for June and July.
Pohl also set the subsequent hearing to straddle a weekend and the 11th anniversary of the terror attacks, Sept. 8-12, in a two-page order unsealed by the Pentagon on Wednesday.
The Pentagon in the past has convened military commissions sessions at Guantanamo during Ramadan, presenting a bit of a logistical challenge to the prison camps' staff that shuttle the accused several miles across the base from the detention center to the bay-front compound where the trials are held.
During Ramadan, the military typically has upended its schedule to provide meals to the prison camps at night and meet the captives' religious needs.
Earlier this month, when Pohl presided at the arraignment of the 9/11 accused, on a Saturday, the hearing spanned 13 hours and included three scheduled prayer breaks for the accused. The men unfurled their prison-approved prayer rugs on the floor of the maximum-security courtroom, and worshipped on the spot.
"No defense counsel has raised any concerns" about convening a hearing during Ramadan, the judge wrote in the order, which predicted the month that starts with the sighting of a sliver of a moon would run from July 21 to Aug. 20. Pohl added that he "will not consider any adjustment in its order based on a conflict with Ramadan."
While it is good the Judge is simply pushing forward with the hearings, now approaching 12 years after the 9/11 attacks on America, the question remains why we are bending over backwards to accommodate these criminals.
During World War II, we did not give German prisoners Nazi flags, copies of Mein Kampf or let them celebrate the anniversary of Hitler’s beer hall revolt. We did not give Japanese prisoners portraits of Emperor Hirohito so they could worship him.
What the hell are we doing at GITMO?
Anyone remember the $750,000 soccer field recently installed for the benefit of the GITMO detainees?
I won’t get into the discussion about Islam being hijacked or any related subject. The issue is these people. They murdered over 3000 Americans. They made war on America. Why the hell are we falling all over ourselves to accommodate them?
Run the court sessions during Ramadan without a break. If they want to pray that is too bad. They can have three regular meals like everyone one else and if they do not like that, they can lose weight. I for one am not losing any sleep over any discomfort those animals have.
The real question is why we give them rights we do not even give our own people. Why do we treat them as if their warped ideology deserves special treatment?
It does not.
They are an enemy and this is war. In war, you destroy the enemy.

An example: Across the Georgia Florida border (meaning both sides), there are many very large Dairy Farms. I know of one with over 2000 cows. Cows crap, crap has to be removed into holding ponds, and holding ponds emptied.
Would you tell us of anyone you know that will take a job doing this type of chitty chitty bang bang (bang bang is when you slip and bust your head on the concrete slab) work; or, would they rather receive (the 46% increase) Food Stamps and Welfare.
I only see mexicans doing the work in these dairy barns and have been seeing only Mexicans in these chitty barns since the early 1990's. If you would like the locations of these barns let me know and I will give you addresses you can pull up on GOOGLE Earth.
I have had the priviledge of working in a cattle barn in the 1950's. ( then $8.00 a day was good money for a 15 yr old.) Back then my family was so poor (and several others that worked with me) that we went bare foot in you know what. I new early in life that hard work would net me a good retirement (until Obozo came along to take it away - and 50% is gone).
So when trusting newt with my future seems to be a much better choice than trusting anyone else including RUBIO and Romney. If he keeps 8 Million or so working mexicans who pay taxes here - that is find by me especially if they have the chitty chitty bang bang jobs that you and I will not do.
Just being rational with the situation.
To compound rationality, why did Obozo sign a Mexican Trucker EO. And why in the hell hasn't the Teamsters nailed him for doing so. It is their jobs that are on the line. And, it could be many Longshoremen Jobs also on the line if Mexico decides to put in a deep sea port close to the southern borders of the us (east and west coast mexico).
Best some of you start thinking about true economics and our jobs and our country.

This rule change was buried on page 19,902 of the Federal Register — in hopes that they could quietly implement the largest fast-track amnesty in recent history.
In fact, this fast-track amnesty is being implement without any votes by your Senators and your Representative. It is quite possible that many members of Congress are unaware of the implications of this rule change.
