If you missed Sarah Palin's speech at CPAC, I'm embedding it below.
Her speech was filled with applause lines and though it was momentarily interrupted by hecklers, Sarah Palin did what she does best -- she delivered red meat for conservatives while calling for a long primary.
“We’ve all heard we have to wrap it up, but in America, we believe competition leads to victory,” she said.
She also said we all must stick together, no matter who the nominee is. Indeed, it seemed her theme was unity throughout her speech, saying: “The left may smear our records or attack our families [but] we can’t let the left divide the next campaign. We must stand together as conservatives. For the sake of our country, we must stand united, no matter who our nominee is.”
Occupy protestors started the heckling and she managed to turn their cries of, "We are the 99 percent into cries of "USA! USA! USA!". Then, the rallying cry became, "Sarah! Sarah! Sarah!"
In short, it was definitely the red meat those at CPAC wanted to hear and she did not disappoint. In fact, many were wondering if her "The door is open" line was code for, "I may be entering the race." I don't think so, but after today, there are those who were thinking of what might have been.

I could only hope that God works in Sarah's life and makes her run; with Allen West as VP of course. It would be like the Red Sea parting.

Right on Danno

Newt saw his shadow and gone to ground
Romney looks like a moose in the headlights and may bolt
Obama looks like the driver targeting romney with a Hummer2
Paul resembles Ross Periot almost to the twin image and his platform is so so
Santorium is hanging on.
Jeb Bush reminds me that a push in the bush is better than two in the hand
Marco Rubio reminds all of us that have done any research that he is not ever going to be eligible (father and mother naturalized 4 or 5 years after he was born just does not meet the Constitutional requirement).
Yep, Sarah could be our Hero yet.
Permalink Reply by Mike NQR on February 11, 2012 at 6:57pm Actually, Jeb Bush isn't as bad as his brother was. But W ruined any prayer that Jeb might one day have the White House as his own for a few years. He was a pretty good governor here during his years in that office.
Permalink Reply by Billy Bowlegs on February 11, 2012 at 8:15pm Yep, Jeb came into town and I nailed him within two weeks with a $350,000,000 missing fund problem.
You see, a deputy dog in Madison COunty decided to give me a ticket at 86 MPH and I was driving a car that had a top speed of 79 MPH which vibrated in the front-end at 75 MPH; while, stuck behind two semi's driving side by side from the Suwannee River Bridge to Exit 53 in Madison Co (About 12 Miles or so), and these two were driving at 60 MPH. What is wrong with this. After I audited the State Traffic Revenue accounts, there was $350,000,000 missing and to this day, no one, not even Jeb has responded to my letter to him.
What is wrong with that picture.
It cost Florida about $10,000,000 to get me off their backs. I never did get my $140.00 back but had one hell of a good time for five years needling Jeb.
What is wrong with this picture yet?
Jeb sundowned the Department of labor and Employment security within a few weeks which cut over 25000 deadwood employees from the state roles. Then he later leased out some of the major Computer Centers (Gov Owned) to private operations, and all hell got loose in the data systems. He even hired out the Florida Personnel System to the INDIA to build and maintain; that is without consideration for the privacy of personnal data in the data files sent to INDIA.
During my five year needling, I had to get a visa just to return home each time I flew out on a job.
What is wrong with this picture.
About the same as happened under the Papa Bush and George Brother reigns.
Do a little research and you will find that George Jr is linked to Resko and Obama in Chicago in the 2004 era with sizable contributions.
Do you trust anyone --- I do not.
