Saul Alinsky wrote his book “Rules for Radicals,” back in 1971. Rule 6 is, “A good tactic is one that your people enjoy.”
A group that uses Alinsky tactics has struck again. For the second time in less than a month, they have used rule 6 to achieve their goal.
Who is the group and what are they doing?
For the second time in a month, radical Islamists have convinced a hotel not to host a conference about radical Islam.
The Preserving Freedom Conference was scheduled for November 11th in Nashville at the Hutton Hotel. The managing group for the hotel, Amerimar Enterprises in Denver, said they had received threats and they were cancelling the event because they were not sure what the content of the program was.
Excuse me?
There is a good phrase for what Amerimar Enterprises has said.
Bovine Scatology.
Anyone who has ever been involved in scheduling a conference at a hotel, especially a major hotel, like the Hutton in Nashville will tell you, the hotel knows exactly what the event is going to be. The hotel also knows when it is something potentially controversial, such as a politically themed conference, because they want to know about issues such as how much security will be needed and do local authorities need to be called.
Only last week, the Hyatt Hotel in Sugar Land, Texas cancelled an event with Pamela Geller due to threats from Islamists.
The threat here is not a conference. The threat is Islam. There is a reason why leftists love Islam so much. Both socialism and Islam have things in common, namely the intolerance of dissenting views.
In what can only be described as irony, the hotel is telling the organizers they would not be allowed in the hotel. Here is a novel idea, why doesn’t the hotel try to exclude the protestors?
Alinsky wrote, “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” The Islamists enjoy shutting down those who disagree with Islam. Islamists enjoy making threats and carrying them out.
Islam and Islamists are a threat to America. Islam demands special privileges. It then demands that no one be allowed to insult Islam. Islam demands that it be allowed to build Mosques anywhere but will not allow speech by anyone who disagrees with Islam.
The Hyatt in Texas is now working with the organizers of the conference to resolve issues, but Amerimar is digging its heels in.

These hotels include hotels that are from the Double Tree franchise, the Sheraton franchise, the Holiday Inn franchise, and the Marriott franchise.
Real Americans who are offended by this hotel’s capitulating to radical Islam can fight back. Call the franchises and tell them that if they feel like a company like Amerimar is an appropriate company to have one of their franchises, then you do not feel like you can stay at their hotels.
The moral of this story is we are going to have to fight back for freedom. Islam is an enemy of freedom and we must work against any group, such as Islam that wants to end America’s freedom.

Permalink Reply by Marcia Wood on This next year we're going to experience many things just like Judson is talking about - make no mistake the Muslim Brotherhood is behind this and this is but one more thing we'll have to fight. Too bad we can't put up big ads on the freeways about these two hotels. The Unions use the same tactics and they'll be in our face the next year.

Why don't we protest at their affairs??? they do it to us we should be doing that to them. When obama is at one of his lying town halls we should be there right outside the door protesting. Then maybe the people that run where he will be will cancel the get together.

Permalink Reply by Thomas Angle on Just think about what would of happened if a German or Japanese group decided to threaten a business for anti German/Japanese conference during WWII. Are we as a people so cowardly or so lacking in character that we let this happen here during a time of war? I think it is about time we form groups, lets call them militias, to stop these kind of attacks on our country. It is apparent that the federal government can not and will not do it for us.
