Mitt Romney went to Israel on his obligatory foreign policy tour.  He said something in Israel that is dead on.  It is about time some American leaders said it.

What did he say and what was he so right about?

Romney said Israel’s culture is something that helped make them successful.

Romney said it and the sound you heard was the sound of the ball being hit out of the park.

Unfortunately the Romney campaign has now walked those comments back some because the Palestinians are outraged.

The Palestinians?  Really?  Who gives two whoops in hell what they think?

Palestine?  That is not a nation.  It is a joke.

The so-called Palestinian Authority quickly took offense.    They blamed the Israelis for the fact that the average income in the so-called Palestinian areas is half that of Israel.

A good look at the evidence would show the terrorists who run that little strip of nothing they call Palestine what the problem is.

Israel is a democracy.  In Israel, they have the rule of law.  Israel does not stone women who commit adultery.  They do not hang homosexuals.  Israel does not persecute minorities.   Israel is referred to as a “Jewish” state but it has citizens who are Arabs, Christians and even Muslims.  In Israel, so-called Muslim holy sites are protected, not destroyed.

Compare that to the so-called area of Palestine.  There is no rule of law nor is there democracy.  It is a theocracy.  Christians are persecuted there.   The religious sites of other faiths are destroyed or damaged.

Instead of trying to build their so-called state, all the Palestinians want to do is destroy Israel.

And who can forget 9/11?  On 9/11 as most of the world reacted in horror to the attacks on the twin towers, the Palestinians were in the streets celebrating.

Mitt Romney was right.  The culture of Israel helped Israel become an economic powerhouse in the region.  Israel creates wealth because its culture encourages that.

The only negative out  of all of this is the fact Romney’s spokesman said his remarks were “mischaracterized.”

No they weren’t.

He hit this one spot on.  Romney is absolutely right and his campaign needs to step up to the plate, grow a pair and quit acting like they are afraid of their own shadow.

Romney is right.  Don’t back off now.

NORM you don't own the Tea Party!

Perhaps you would be happier elsewhere Richard.

Attacking other members is not encouraged here. It's really not permitted!

Some consider happy-Libertarian equivilant to WORM.  Please apply unpermitted attacks evenly and fairly.

I'll bite. Which acronym do you mean? Are you suggesting Spam?

Richard you mean you are re-electing Obama! You deserve what you will get.

True.

Tea Party Nation is not the correct forum for such.

West for VP.  Rubio is a patriot, but a loser for VP.

Tired of the Palestinians and the fact that EVERYTHING offends them, they really need to shut the hell up!

Why cant they just take a stand? The so called Arabs even with their misguided ideology take stand. This is a huge shame.

Romney was correct in his appraisal of pre-Olympics preparation - - - security is paramount for the Olympics, not stirkes!

Is the Palestinian/Hamas Strategy for increasing average income . . . by decreasing their population . . . by producing more suicide bombers?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Palestinian_suicide_attacks

Palestine (not a nation) is under the control of Hamas; i.e., they have no control of their destiny so long as terrorists control the people through fear and intimidation.

Isn't Hamas considered terrorist? The palestinians are Obam's friends, so we are supposed to be kind to them and not insult them. How sickening.
