If Richard Lugar had his way, this blog would be illegal.  In fact, for a time, thanks to the crown prince of the RINO’s this blog would have been illegal.

What is going on?

In 2002, the powers that be in Washington, in the halls of Congress got upset with us little people and some corporations too.   It seems they did not like the free speech guarantees given by the Constitution so they wanted to circumvent them.

The circumvention was a law that became known as McCain-Feingold, after its two principle sponsors.   The technical name of the bill was the Bi-Partisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002.

This law was bi-partisan in that incumbents of both parties did not like being criticized nor did they like threats to their jobs.  They did not like the fact that thanks to the Internet, criticism of them could go viral.  They did not like the fact that groups could buy ads demanding that these “public servants” be fired by the people at election time.

Part of McCain-Feingold prohibited “electioneering communications” within 60 days of a primary or 30 days of a general election.   Electioneering communications meant a communication, like this blog, that called for the election or a defeat of a specific candidate.  When I publish this blog, which calls not only for Lugar’s defeat but a humiliating defeat and for the election of a real patriot, namely Richard Mourdock, under McCain-Feingold I would be in violation of the law.

Thanks to Richard Lugar, that bill became law.

Thanks to the United States Supreme Court in the Citizens United Decision, the law was ruled to be unconstitutional.

I’m not sure which is more terrifying.  The fact that these clowns we refer to as Senators and Congressmen thought that passing such a blatantly unconstitutional law was a good idea or the fact that Citizens United was only a 5-4 Supreme Court decision.

We have a huge problem in this nation.  The out of control spending that we see is only a symptom.  America has created a governing class that now believes the nation is of them, by them and for them.

Richard Lugar is a poster child for this problem.

Lugar has abused the system in almost every way possible, from moving to Washington and not living in his home state since 1977, to the countless trips he has taken at government expense to even having the taxpayers pick up the costs for hotels when he returns to what is allegedly his home state.

When the Tea Party movement got started, one of the slogans is “Revolution is brewing.”  It is time for a revolution.  It is time to throw out these poster children of the government class and start over again with real Americans who understand they are going to Washington to serve the people, not to take advantage of the people.

Hey Lugar.  I call for your defeat and the election of Richard Mourdock.  It is within 60 days of a primary too!  Too bad your law was declared unconstitutional.

McCain-Feingold was a disgrace and so are you.   Indiana needs to send you packing and hopefully on May 8th the good people of Indiana will humiliate you at the polls and send you into a long overdue retirement.

The split is coming!

Republicans like Lugar, Olympia Snowe and Arlen Specter have misrepresented the ideals of real Constitutional Conservatives. We can add Colin Powell, William Weld and Charlie Crist to that list. They have also been called, "Republicrats. They represent the past. Lugar tops the list. His time has passed.

Bias in new vote-counting system? Obama donor’s company funds controversial election firm Klein Online ^ | January 18, 2012 | Aaron Klein

A top director at a venture capital firm that finances a controversial new online voting system donated to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign and also contributed the maximum allowable to Obama’s inauguration, KleinOnline has learned.

The internationally-headquartered company, SCYTL, has previously faced questions about the security of its electronic voting technologies, which are now set to be deployed in 900 U.S. jurisdictions.

The firm already provides balloting for overseas U.S. military and civilian voting in nine states plus elections technologies in several districts.

Concerns have also been raised about SCYTL’s ties to the Spanish government and to international venture capital firms.

The Drudge Report yesterday ran a feature entitled, “Foreign company buys U.S. election results reporting firm.” The article documented that SCYTL, based in Barcelona, acquired 100% of SOE Software, the leading software provider of election management solutions in the United States.

The official press release announcing the acquisition noted that SCYTL is a portfolio company of leading international venture capital funds Nauta Capital, Balderton Capital and Spinnaker.

Spinnaker Capital manages $5 billion in two funds specializing in emerging markets investments.

That McCain-Feingold was found to be unconstitutional is not surprising....but that Congress passed it was amazing!

The First Amendment does not guarantee Free Speech by the way...only prevents Congress from outlawing it!

"Congress shall make no law...abridging the freedom of speech..." but in no way restricts others from doing so, thereby further respecting your right to so limit.

And dolts like McLame had no problem stepping directly on the this wording!

Ever hear McCain still supporting this First Amendment denial? Here it is, in his own words!

You tell 'em Judson.... I just love reading your blogs!

As Pat Buchanan said, "It's the State against the Nation."  We are under soft tyranny now. Six years in the Senate is too long given the record of corruption. Why is Lugar still in congress; he should have been removed by now.

WE THE PEOPLE can cut their terms to "one year"....draft !

The way I see the law, yes, this site may be "electioneering communication", however, people come here by choice.

George Voinovich and Mike DeWine were two similar RINO progressive elites in Ohio. Folks, conservatives need to thoroughly investigate EVERY candidate specifically as to their constitutional understanding and as to their character. No human will perform flawlessly nor will all the people agree with their decisions and votes all of the time, but we MUST do all possible not to send constitutional threats to Liberty into elected or appointed offices, and when errors occur or folks "change their spots," they must be removed at the next election.

All proposed legislation MUST be available online long before its final vote so "internet Minutemen" can fully examine it. Legislation passed MUST apply to elected officials if it applies to "We the people," and MUST declare its foundational enumerated or other constitutional authority BEFORE proceeding to committee.

Lastly, we need to expose so called conservatives, such as Ann Coulter, when they "go off the rails" on supporting folks like Romney and individual mandates at the State level. Ann needs to learn that our unalienable Rights come from God, not from government, and that ALL power sought by government [at EVERY level] must be delegated by the people. The idea that States may order us to buy goods or services without our consent is just as dangerous as the even more tyrannical notion that a federal government may.

The internet is an awesome tool for "constitutional watchdogs" and will therefor always be a target of unconstitutional tyrants masquerading as politicians.

I have one question: How in the hell did McCain get re-elected to the senate.

He is a disgrace to the Republican party, and his office. His military record has never impressed anyone but himself.

David:

Cindy Hensley McCain bought it for him...just like he got it in the first place !

Lugar is a joke!  I can't help but wonder why McCain would ever sponsor such an insult to the Consitution.  I suppose it was because he was being so heavily outspent, but Republicans in general and Rhino's in particular are always outspent by the 'cry baby' liberals. Let's hope that the Supreme Court gives them another resounding defeat when Obamacare is declared unconstitutional so they can cry some more. Then Obama can really turn on the tears as his benchmark 'achievement??' washes down the drain where it should be. We need to flush this whole administration and some of the Rhinos as well.

JUDSON......carry on!......Richard Lugar......BU BUY!!!!!!
