Obamacare is dead.  Or it will be when the Supremes finally administer the coup de grace.   So what comes after Obamacare?

Would you believe Boehnercare?

What is it?

It is the plan that is now circulating for when the Supremes strike down Obamacare.    The Republicans want to take the “popular” aspects of Obamacare and make them Boehnercare.

Is brain death a prerequisite for becoming a leader in the Republican Party?

Mr. Boehner, if Obamacare is unconstitutional, what the hell makes you think your version of it will be?

The Republicans want to bribe the voters with the so-called popular provisions, such as allowing your kids to live in your basement and stay on your insurance until they are 26 or the coverage of preexisting conditions.

Allegedly they want to keep healthcare affordable.

If you want to make healthcare affordable, there is one foolproof system that will work every time.  It is called the free market.

It works.

Not only does it work, we have proof.  If you need to see the free market at work, look at vision correction, AKA Lasik.

When Lasik first appeared on the scene, treatments cost $10,000.  Today it is $199 an eye and the doctor will finance it for you.

Why?

It is simple.  Health insurance does not cover Lasik.   Health insurance distorts and destroys the free market.  Healthcare consumers neither know nor care what the costs of healthcare are.  All they know is what their copay and deductable are.  That is it.

The Republicans in Washington are talking about using government to try and keep healthcare costs down.  If you are not terrified of that, you should be.

Washington’s competence ends at the level of managing a two-moon outhouse.

If Boehner and company pander this way, all we will be getting is Obamacare lite.  Government is never the solution.  It is the problem.

All this proves is that Boehner and company are big government Republicans.  There is no commitment on their part to reduce the size of government.   We can’t even afford the level of government we currently have.

Our debt exceeds that of all of Europe combined.  Debt is a far greater enemy than the lack of a government healthcare program.

When will the Republicans ever learn?

They have bought into the myth that we must make certain that everyone has health insurance.

WRONG!

Health Insurance is what is making healthcare more expensive.  Healthcare is not the issue.  Making healthcare inexpensive so that the average American can pay out of their pocket.  The Republicans have fallen for it.  The debate should be how could we use the free market to make medical care affordable, more efficient and more cutting edge.

By buying into the left’s line that the issue is the number of uninsured, we have lost.

If the Republicans put parts of Obamacare back in, this time as Boehnercare, we will destroy the budget and we will set the platform for socialist healthcare in ten years.

It will just be easier for them next time.

What does it take for these idiots in Washington to get the message that we reject socialism?   Maybe when the Tea Party is successful in defeating first class RINO Orin Hatch in the GOP primary, the message will finally be sent.

I will be writing Boehner as well as everyone of my Senators. Judson, it will pretty much say what you have say here.

Boehner Must Go!

I don't know why you continue to bash the Republican leadership.  They are almost as values bankrupt as the leadership of the Democratic Party. I don't know why you don't concentrate on pushing candidates that share most of the values of the tea party people and stop looking for perfection in those candidates .  This mess can only be changed over to long haul and we will have to undermine the Democratic and Republican leadership to do so.

Boehner is part of the establishment that needs to be flushed away. Free market ideas typically are not readily accepted by any politicians. They think they need to be the originators of innovation. Not much difference between Reid and Boehner right now anyway. Look at his track record. THE SLEEPING GIANT WILL AGAIN WAKE UP AS HE DID IN 2010. In Wisconsin before the 2010 elections the Dems had control of both House and Senate and were trying to pass all kinds of ugly anti-business legislation and giving more power to the unions. They were holding proceedings in the wee hours of the night but they couldn't agree even then. After the 2010 elections they lost both House and Senate in the biggest political shift in history. When this shift happens on the national level the Conservatives will keep control of the House and take over control of the Senate. America will flourish but at the risk of another Civil war, race war. Unless someone can educate the Obama zombies, there will be riots, cities will burn.

JOHN BOEHNER, COPYCAT SPEAKER and we thought MITT FOR BRAINS WAS BAD. JOHN GOES ONE BETTER towards total "STUPIDITY". too many 5:00 MARTINIS JOHN and with BOVINE SCATOLOGY as well!!!!!!.

The number of uninsured IS the problem Justin. If you aren't poor enough to qualify for medicaid but don't earn enough to pay a $1000 monthly insurance premium to cover your family and  your employer doesn't offer benefits then what are families to do Justin? Die? Well in America allowing people to die if they fall ill or are in a serious accident is against the law. Our medical institutions cannot turn people away. I don't personally know anyone who can afford to pay for any potential serious illness or injury out of pocket. How many millionaires choose to forego providing their family with health insurance? Probably zero as I would think they are smart enough to know that they would be one illness or serious car accident away from being penniless.

FYI, I had lasiks surgery done two years ago. The total cost was $3000. I've heard advertisements, although not lately, about that $199 per eye fee. I think the reason they stopped advertising that price is because it's misleading. The $400 fee is what the opthamalogist probably charges for the actual procedure performed. It doesnt include the pre-op or post op visits. Few opthamalogists can afford the mulit-million dollar high tech laser which essentially performs the operation based on the measurements the doctors set for it. Therefore that $199 per eye sham doesn't include what you will be charged for the outpatient operation performed at the facility which actually owns and houses the laser. The $400 is what the doctor charges for the five minutes he/she spends actually performing the procedure, or should I say watching the lasiks machine perform it.

So according to you, as soon as we can convince the inventors, investors, medical equipment supply companies and out-patient facilities to donate the free use of these million dollar laser machines to eye doctors everyone will have access to 20/20 vision for a mere 400 bucks plus the cost of the pre-op and post-op office visits..

As for socialized medicine, this procedure was being performed  30 years ago in Russia. After 30 years it finally arrived in the U.S. It has taken 20+ years for it's cost to drop from the initial 10 to 15 thousand to todays  cost of around $2500 to $3200. And this is your shining example of how the free market will cure all that ailes our broken health care system? Do the exact opposite of what most other industrialized countries have found to be the most plausible approach to provide all their citizens access to medical care? And as the U.S. continues to fall behind these countries in numerous health categories such as infant mortality, death from preventive illness etc. no longer can the U.S. argue we have the best health care system in the world. That doesn't apply when that highly skilled capability can only be utilized by the more privileged in society. We have the finest medical care in the world but when viewed as our overall health care system we rank among the lowest. We can transplant FACES! We just have a problem keeping newborns alive. INXcusable

Exactly how many years away do you suppose it will be before an average individual can afford to pay for their cancer treatment out of pocket? When that happens I'm sure Americans will be happy to ditch their health insurance coverage. For those that have no coverage it won't matter, They'll be dead, probably prematurely, long before then.

Back to reality Justin.
