It is time for the American military to be pulled out of Afghanistan now. There is no point in waiting and there is no point in losing another American life there. Let’s be done with this.
Why?
Anyone with half a brain can tell you that the Obama policy for Afghanistan is to lose gracefully or at least put it off until he is well into a second term. His policy is failure. He does not talk about winning the war. HE simply talks about getting America out of there.
Our troops have been handicapped by insane rules of engagement that go so far as to aid terrorists and Taliban sympathizers over American military pers....
Now Fox News is reporting that we are releasing Taliban fighters on the promise they will not fight again. These are not low-level grunts, but high level detainees.
Why? What are we getting out of this? The answer is nothing.
How many of these guys have returned to the fight? How many of the released Guantanamo detainees returned to fight Americans? How many Americans have been killed or wounded by so-called “friendly” Afghan military personnel?
The object of a war is to be victorious. This is so obvious, anyone even someone as obtuse as Barack Obama should be able to figure it out. When we went to Afghanistan in 2001, it was a textbook operation. We routed the Taliban. At that point we should have told the Northern Alliance to keep the Taliban out of Afghanistan or we will be back and left.
Instead, George W. Bush thought nation building would be a good idea. Unfortunately for America, in the war on terror George W. Bush and now Barack Obama would not allow us to attack the main weapon the terrorists use: Their religion.
Much as Germany was de-Nazified after World War Two, the only way nation building was going to work was going to be to de-Islamify Afghanistan.
Instead of recognizing the ideology of our enemy and treating it as such, Bush and now Obama have imposed silly rules. In Iraq, we could not fire on Mosques, even as they were being used to not only hide terrorists be as grounds for terrorists to shoot and kill Americans. We were forced to pretend that some how Islam, a barbaric and evil religion, was worthy of respect. We had to provide the captured terrorists with copies of the Quran. We had to paint arrows on the floors of their cells so they would know which direction Mecca was. We had to have special rules handling their Qurans, even though the captured terrorists would routinely defile the books themselves and use that for propaganda purposes.
The American military has never lost a war. Our political leadership, particularly that Party of Treason, has done a great job of getting American soldiers killed with nothing to show for it.
If Obama is going to have us lose Afghanistan, let’s be done with it now. Let’s start pulling our forces and equipment out now. The only thing that should be going to Afghanistan is supplies we need for the pull out and enough high explosives to blow up everything we have built.
There is no point in sending one more American soldier, sailor, airman or marine to die in a war Obama has decided to lose.
We should understand the cost of this loss. It is not just the blood and treasure America has lost. We have had the luxury of fighting terrorism for the most part in the terrorist back yard. Thanks to the leadership of Barack Obama and the Party of Treason, I fear soon we will be fighting terrorism here in America.

We can change the ROE and make it a win, see we do not have to look at those eyes for another generation. All it takes is the courage to go to DC and make it happen.
For the Jane Fonda and the likes. It is time to start punishing treason the way it use to be punished.

There is no "Statute of Limitations" on TREASON as far as I know; just on the testicular fortitude in enforcing it! I guess it is easier to punish troops that piss on corpses or put underwear on a prisoner's head, call it "torture" and go after the little guy! We're STILL WAITING for MAJ Hasan, "The Fort Hood Allah Avenger" to be tried, while we JUMP on misdemeanors of the "bladder brigade"!

We have not only lost the war, but the country as well. Obama's May Day executive orders have sealed our fate. And not a word from our elected officials or the press. Our home-grown terrorists are NBC, CBS, MSNBC, and ABC among others.
It has become pretty evident that people of Afghanistan do not hate the Taliban as much as they detest the forces sent to free them. One of our forefathers--don't remember which one at the moment--said that people get the government they deserve, and in the Afgani's case, they have. You have to be civilized to want to live in a civil world and for whatever reason, we keep sending our men to Middle-East expecting that because we want the people to be civilized, all we need to do is free them. We're freeing rats for no good purpose. Obama doesn't want to win any war against people he sympathizes with and he has proven that in Afghanistan. It's past time our men came home from that hell on earth.

Islam/Allah above all is everything, and everything else means nothing. The willingness to put their women and children at the front-lines of death in the name of a holy cause should resonate pretty profoundly with our leaders. Yet it doesn't. Life in this world is secondary by religious default to many in the Arab world. The afterlife is the most important. You cannot defeat that kind of mindset. Pull our people out and protect ourselves at our own borders. Why our politicians continue to be of the belief that we can spread our form of democracy around the world and insist that others in foreign lands should accept it, is beyond me. THEY DON'T WANT IT!!! I know a couple of Jordanians that I have befriended of the years, one of whom I am learning Arabic from. What they have conveyed to me is that they don't want the U.S. or Israel to be the Arab world's "Daddy" as they put it. They want to be left to their own devices and live according to their way of life and beliefs which they hold so dear. So let them. So long as it doesn't threaten our way of life, let them live the way they choose. This prevailing wisdom of ours over the last 40 years with respect to the middle-east has to change because we are never going to effect change in a land where change is the furthest thing from their minds.

Judson, this is where we need some top-down organization. One coordinated message from you and a few other of our conservative leaders (Matt Kibbe, Allen West, Herman Cain, Rush, Glenn, et al) would have thousands of us in the streets demanding the troops be brought home now. We have the personnel (and, I believe, the power) to make it happen, we're just not coordinated - I believe the socialists call it 'organized'.
I get so frustrated that we patriots are still Republicans at heart with our parlor manners mindset hellbent on following the rules. I get so worried that our means of organizing (internet, radio, maybe even telephone) are going to be taken away before we exercise their full power. In fact, I find they already are. I tried to find Newt's 2+2=4 speech and this is one of the hits. Video gone bye-bye!
The speech was about peaceful, organized resistance to tyranny in, I believe it was, Romania. Signs proclaiming 2+2=4 (representing the TRUTH) popped up everywhere in a show of solidarity. I found a blurb about it in Human Events. If you find the real thing, video or text, please post it.
Dammit, WE are the majority! We need to be standing up both individually and collectively for public awareness, amassing activists to our side. Too many citizens are oblivious to the peril we face. We need to sound the alarm before the alarm is silenced. And we need our troops at home.

If we will "stand together" and not let "other alliances" interfere with "Patriot First"....we can get it done. "Constitutionaists" need to "Demand that All "Government" function according to he Constitution.
Most will say..."Well, this is Not...... New York City".
