Liberals clearly want America to collapse. They want to see the end of America as a country. Everything they do, every position they advocate seems to have that as the end goal. In Texas, a sane law called SB 9 is being debated. Texas Governor Rick Perry declared it an emergency item and brought it back for a special session of the State Legislature.
SB 9 has been called the “Sanctuary Cities” bill. It would allow Texas law enforcement officers to ask someone about their immigration status when they are pulled over. It is in response to a number of Texas cities, including Houston, who have declared they are “Sanctuary cities.”
The left went into “moral outrage” mode, with claims that this would lead to “racial profiling.” SB 9 calls for among other things, mandatory checks of someone’s immigration status when they are arrested. It also requires someone prove they are in this country legally before they can get a driver’s license. That all makes good sense right? Not to a liberal.
Liberals do not want there to be an American border. They think that anyone should be able to just come waltzing over the border and stay. Of course, liberals live in a fantasy world and you can’t really argue with them. Pointing out that there are now parts of the American southwest that are effectively owned by drug cartels will simply get a response of “you are a racist” from them.
One of the more interesting parts of the debate on SB 9 happened a few days ago at a hearing on the bill. A man who had been in this country for 23 years, presented his testimony in Spanish! After 23 years in America, he did not want to use English. This offended a state senator. The video is here. You can see that when the Senator insisted that someone who had been in this country for 23 years should be able to speak English, the crowd booed him.
Three things define a country. Borders, Language and Culture. Take any of these away and you no longer have a country. Every position the left and the Democratic Party take is geared towards erasing our borders, our language and our culture. What will be left when they are done? I wonder what these Democrats have to say to Americans who have had family members killed by illegal aliens? As these Democrats oppose some simple common sense proposals, what do they have to say to the families of the five Houston police officers killed by illegal immigrants since 2006?
What do they have to say to the Americans who live near the border who are basically being driven off of their property by illegals? What do they have to say to the people who have their homes broken into by illegals? What do they have to say to the other Americans who are victims of crimes perpetrated by illegals?
Probably not a thing.

It is not just the Democrats that is pushing no boarders BUSH 2 signed the NAU. which combines Mexico, America and Canada together. The Republicans are just as guilty.
It is not communism that is the issue. Globalism is being pushed.

Many come here to make a better life for themselves and their families. We must use a little bit of common sense and use the bible as the book for guiding us to making good decisions. I don't remember what verse it was but the bible tells us that we are suppose to treat all aliens as equal but not to let them partake in the political process.
My opinion is that we should be reaching out to all illegals and teaching them about the constitution and the purpose of the laws. We should also be teaching them the difference between a democracy and a republic and why democrats are no better than the governments that the illegals fled from. It would be much easier to get illegals educated and get them to understand why some things are right and why some things are wrong. Then we must help make them legal aliens once they understand our way of life. As long as democrats keep protecting them and allowing them to break the laws, we will never change the way illegals think and they will always think that democrats are their friends and conservatives are their enemies. We must make this an issue of the heart, rather than trying to get to the heart of the issue.

Permalink Reply by Thomas Angle on I do believe the Bible says that you are to follow the laws of the land if they do not contradict with God's laws. That being said, maybe we should teach them the laws first. Like how to enter the country legally.
But the real problem is We the People do not want to pay the price that is necessary to remove the traitors that are trying to bring down this country.

I DON'T think that's a true statement... at the moment, legally, our hands are tied ~ and you know it, Thomas. AFTER 2012, if we lose, there could be other solutions, but right now, in the present political climate, there's very little we can do constructively that is also legal...

THIS IS the argument that liberals try to use... it sounds good, and it appeals to the goodness in everyone's heart, BUT the facts don't bear this out. THEY aren't trying to assimilate... they're destroying our school system... they're driving up the cost of health care to the point where the average American can no longer afford it... they're a prime cause of high employment among American citizens... most all of the social problems could be significantly alleviated if they all were sent home... and I don't care how long they've been here, this ain't their home!
HAVE YOU been to a SS office lately? I've gone twice, and each time, the only people who spoke English were the security guard and myself! THE same is true at the Emergency Rooms at our hospitals.
THESE people, regardless of why they came, are here illegally, they broke numerous laws getting here, and are breaking laws every day they're here. Their presence, alone, is overloading our social infrastructure.

"COMMON SENSE" says we should secure the border and DENY them all services and rights except for one: we won't shoot you on sight, so long as you leave quickly and peacefully.

I AGREE, we should be reaching out to all illegals, grabbing them by the nap of the neck, and kicking their asses back to wherever they came from. It would cost less to fly them back one-way, than to support them for another month...
