OWS is Living Proof of the "Dumbing Down of America"

Back in the late 1970's, my father warned us of this plan that was referred to as the "Dumbing Down of America". As time went on and we watched children graduating from high school with less than average skill sets, little to no reasoning skills, horrific grammar, terrible spelling and no basic math skills.  It has become abundantly clear that this truly was not a conspiracy theory.

Fast forward to 2011 and take a look at the OWS protestors vs the average American. 

1.   My friends and associates were raised to believe that emotions and mouths should be controlled,

      temper tantrums were completely unacceptable, self-control was a given and logic should always

      prevail.

     (Less than 1/2 of 1 percent of the OWS protestors can what they are protesting and why but

      "feel" that they are in the right place at the right time.  Did somebody call the psychic friends

       Network?) 

2.  We were taught to control our bowel and bladder functions at an early age and that there were

     acceptable places to perform these functions.

     (The OWS protestors have proven time and time again that they have no control over these

      functions and feel that they can, metaphorically speaking and much like the Obama

      administration, relieve themselves on whatever and whomever they please.)

3.  We were taught reading, writing, arithmetic, manners and critical thinking skills; all without a

     single computer.

     (The OWS protestors walk around screaming anti-American, anti-capitalist, anti-Semitic and a

      whole host of obscenities that would have gotten the average person's mouth washed out with

      soap or a swift application from the board of education to the seat of knowledge! 

      Additionally, their lack of critical thinking skills has caused them to be led by the people that

      caused a majority of the mess that we're in including the people that were responsible for the

      education of the OWS protestors (ie- "progressive" college professors, school teachers, etc.)

Now here's the part that is most ironic and it falls under category #3 but is just so humorous that I have to close with it. 

The OWS protestors are screaming "We're the 99%!".  Really? Not everybody that works on Wall Street is a billionaire so their barking up the wrong tree.  If 53% of Americans pay taxes and 47% pay nothing and simply feed off of other taxpayers like a deer tick in the fall then why aren't these OWS protestors screaming "We're the 47%"?   Did Timothy Geithner do that calculation for them?
