With only nine days left in 2011, there was still enough time left for one more massive surrender and screw up by John Boehner.

The headlines tonight say it all.

From The Hill: House Republican leaders cave, agree to pass two-month tax bill.

From the Washington Examiner: House Republicans give in on payroll tax deal

From the Daily Caller: Boehner: House leaders accept Senate tax terms

This was a disaster and there are really no two ways about it.

In a year of total screw ups, Boehner has finished the year in style.  In fairness to Boehner, he was hung out to dry by Mitch McConnell.

The good news out of this is that Boehner is going to have problems.

From Fox News:

The speaker still has to keep control of a restive caucus in order to deliver on Thursday's agreement. Boehner said the goal is for both chambers to approve the final package by Christmas. And he wants lawmakers to approve it by "unanimous consent" -- meaning leadership would have to pre-clear the deal with all members to ensure there are no objections, so most lawmakers wouldn't have to return to Washington for a regular roll-call vote.

However, early reaction from rank-and-file Republicans reflected dissension in the ranks once again. One Republican member told Fox News, "I'm thinking of objecting myself. We were hung out by leadership."

Another member who was on a brief Republican conference call Thursday predicted the deal Boehner struck could cause problems for the speaker. "He may have a hard time keeping his speakership after this," the lawmaker said.

Still another lawmaker said Republican members "never would have gone along" with the deal.

After a long year of watching John Boehner hauling up his freshly laundered white flag of surrender, perhaps the Republican caucus is now getting fed up with Boehner.

We can only hope.

Billy Bowlegs:  It's all orchestrated by the democrat led senate to make their imaginery hero President Pantload look good.

Gives Pantload more airtime to blame republicrats for the mess Diaperman created.

I think it is time to start with more tea party march's some of these leaders think that we are loosing support. This  election we need to keep on removing any politician that has been in for to long or is against the Tea Party.

I agree 100%. Does anyone know Glen Beck's number?

Never draw a line in the sand unless you are willing to stand firm.  Typical politics at work.

Lest we forget; Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" dedicated to Lucifer and held dear by the "progressive" movement:

>Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.

>Never go outside the expertise of your people.

>Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.

>Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.

>Ridicule is man's most potent weapon.
>A good tactic is one your people enjoy.

>A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.

>Keep the pressure on with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.

>The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.

>The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.

>If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside.

>The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.

>Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

The thoughtful reader need not delve too deep into these 13 "weeds" to see they are effectively designed as a means of deception and to reduce the opponent to ineffectiveness by vilification and lies. Anyone notice how liars are now able to look you straight in the face? My wife says you can still see spots in their eyes when they are lying. For "progressives", all they have to do is open their mouths. The spots are just added decoration.

Alinsky was one smart cookie to codify these tactics. I suggest that Republicans take this page out of his book and start applying some of these tactics ourselves. It's worked pretty darn well for the Libs, most people don't think like this so they get the wool pulled over their eyes. The situation is so bad that I would like to see us push back the same way they have advanced their agenda.

We need to use these tactics, too, because we need to render our opponent ineffective to their lies and deception. What is our tool?  To use the truth about who these people are and to use the truth to what their policies create.  Our talking points now are passive and defensive. We need to be on the offensive and fully engaged.  We need to become better strategists and be first, surprise them, and create illusions and call their bluff.

We definitely need to push back - not by being liars and deceivers, but the pure light of truth stuck right in their spotted eyes. Take a look at the attached philosophical outlook. It's part of a book I'm writing called, "Weeds, Wheat and Wisdom." Glenn Beck has collected quite a library of videos and writings from the "progressives" that need to be countered with fact and Declaration/Constitutional values. Darkness cannot stand the light of truth.

Merry Christmas!

I supported Boehner in the beginning as I thought he was a good man; but he lacks a backbone , and as usual the republicans cannot get their message through all the left wing BS

How long has it been that we seem not able to get our message through all the left wing BS?  Way too long. If the Republicans really wanted it, they could find a way.  As far as I am concerned the Republicans have proven themselves either not so bright or at least not really interested in winning. I think the motivation is gone.  Why?  Because they still get paid, they still get re-elected, they still get their retirement, their medical benefits, all their other perks.  Where is the motivation?  They did ultimately vote for the 2-month extension so they could go home for the holidays. Why didn't they talk up the fact that the Dems didn't want you or me to have the jobs the Keystone project would produce because they don't care about the people?

AMEN Cathy!!!!

They are not there for our country!

I'm meeting with my Congressman McCarthy over the Christmas holidays to discuss this. We traded autographed books last year. Say a prayer and send me suggestions if you wish. I'm not THAT in!

Remember, the TEA Party movement operates on Chaos Theory. Drives the "progressives" nuts because the only chaos they understand is burn and pillage. Orderly chaos is opportunity presented. We create our opportunities by staying in the fight and meeting one another to exchange ideas and strategies. For a great Scripture assignment, please read 1 Corinthians 2... all of it!
