There is an old story about a scorpion who begs a dog to let him climb on to the dog’s back to swim across the river. The dog protests saying the scorpion will sting him and he will die. The scorpion says, no, that won’t happen, I’d die too. So the dog relents, puts the scorpion on his back and half way across the river, the scorpion stings the dog. As the poison goes through the dog’s veins and he is about to go under, he asks the scorpion, “Why? Now we will both die.” The scorpion says, “I couldn’t help myself, it is just my nature.”
That old parable is a perfect metaphor for Obama.
In early 2008, in a move that really helped his campaign when he really needed the help, the Teamsters Union endorsed Barack Obama. Obama has now shown them his true nature and has given them the scorpion sting.
What has happened?
On March 3, 2011, the Obama regime announced that it would allow Mexican trucks to go throughout the United States to deliver loads. Epic fail is an understatement for this policy, which is going to have a lot of casualties.
The first casualty will be American truck drivers. A lot of Americans make a good living as truck drivers. Not any more. Mexican truckers are not paid nearly what American truckers are paid. Businesses operate in their own interests. If they have a choice in shipping their goods with an American trucking firm that costs twice as much as a Mexican firm, they are going to choose the Mexican firm. It is not that they are not patriotic. They have to stay in business.
The second casualty will be American citizens. Mexican trucks are not up to the same safety standards American trucks are. They are not going to be subjected to safety inspections at the border. They are just going to be waved on through.
The third casualty will be American citizens. When American citizens are injured as a result of a collision with a Mexican truck, who are they going to sue? The Mexican driver? Good luck finding him. The Mexican company? Do you have any idea how hard it is to enforce a judgment across international lines? Do you really think the Mexican trucks will carry insurance?
The fourth casualty will be both American citizens and the American Truck Driver. American truck drivers are required to have a commercial driver’s license. Something as simple as a speeding ticket can cost an American truck driver his CDL. There will be no accounting for the traffic record of a Mexican driver. He could have dozens of speeding tickets and accidents and his Mexican license will not be revoked.
The fifth casualty is sanity. Not only are we destroying a sector of the American economy and putting a lot of Americans out of work, but the taxpayer is going to subsidize this. All trucks are required to have something called the EOBR (the electronic on board recorder). This neat little piece of gear costs $3,000 plus a monthly maintenance fee. American truckers must pay for this themselves. The Obama regime is going to pay for this for Mexican trucks.
The sixth casualty is national security. As these trucks roll across the American border, perhaps one in ten will be subject to a customs check. How many will carry loads of drugs, illegal aliens or perhaps even terrorists and weapons of mass destruction?
Is there any good news out of this deal? Sure there is, if you believe the propaganda from the regime. American drivers can now carry their loads into Mexico. How a spokesman says that with a straight face is shocking. Perhaps tequila can solve that problem too. First, no one is going to pay twice the price or more for an American company to drive into Mexico and second, who in their right mind would do that. Mexico is a war zone, even more dangerous than Iraq and Afghanistan. Certainly, American drivers will line up for the opportunity to be kidnapped or killed in Mexico.
Obama strikes again. Once again, his administration has done something that totally screws America without America receiving any benefit. If Obama were merely incompetent, the laws of probability say he would occasionally do something right.
As for the Teamsters, they got into bed with the scorpion and now they are learning his true nature.

If we simply stop all welfare and ignore the raping of our way of life by the corporations we will all loose. We will be living like the 3rd world, fighting over jobs that pay 1$ a week. And begging for government to listen to us, shaking our rakes and shovels at them as they point tanks and automatic weapons in our face.

had plans for a common currency between the three nations with only honorary borders. Bush sold us out on Illegal Immigration, for 8 years, he fought guarding the borders and kept entertaining Amnesty. I think these guys, Obama and Bush, did this trying to obtain the voting block.
This is definately a continuation of a Bush idea by Obama, just as Obama quickly found the Patriot Act, a true monster in disquise developed by Bush, to be a necessarily convenient tool for tyranny.
In Oregon, they have a State Police Program, I think it's called MACE, that continually harasses and badgers Commercial Truck drivers for safety checks. It's a valuable program that should be turned towards these trucks from Mexico, but heck, Oregon is a long way from the border.
The problem is definately in the House and Senate; they sit there with their mouths shut, whild Joseph Stalin has his way with us. They're part of it. I'm afraid our problem is much bigger than we originally thought. Thank God for the Tea Party, we "can" vote these a******s out and "we the people" better stop trading our Freedom for Securiity or the Muslims will dictate our societal rules, via Terror Threats. If we continually allow the Islamicist to attack our freedoms, via the DHS, we will end up like the Ukraine. In Ukraine, you cannot go anywhere without a Passport, tracking your every move. Soon, all the Grocery Store Club cards, tracking your every purchase and move, along with the Cellular Industry rolling over, tracking our every call and location will be interfaced with deep government programs.
If you want to get an idea of what is going on, read the book written in 1978 called The Turner Diaries. The Gov't hates this book. It's about racism, which I am not advocating in any way, but it will put a chill up your back when you read it. You will ask yourself "How did this guy know what was coming"?

You are correct that GWB did not wish to destroy America, however, he and his father are both committed Globalists working to bring America under the subjugation of the Socialists in their envisioned "Capitol of the World," The Hague.
Although Ovomit may not envision himself as a dictator over a sovereign America, he certainly plans to be Prime Minister of the Third World Banana Republic of America as a member state of the World Socialist Community.
The Imposter in Chief has some very powerful advocates toward that end including the Bilderbergs, the Trilateral Commission, and the Council on Foreign Relations not to mention George Soros and his puppets in the UN. Indeed we face a formidable opponent in our struggle for Freedom!
