One of the favorite terms that is thrown around by conservatives to describe Barack Obama is the word “Dictator.”
Is this just more hyperbole or is there a good case of truth in naming here?
Obama is scrapping our Constitution, moving towards a type of government our forefathers not only loathed but also warned us against. This is a government with a strong, central chief executive.
Obama’s blatant disregard of the law made another appearance this week as Obama decided he did not like the Welfare Reforms that were signed into law in the 1990’s.
These reforms were very successful in getting people off of the welfare rolls and getting them back to work.
Obama did not like this so what does he do? He did what he always does. He ignores the law.
Prior to the 1990s, welfare was easy and expansive. People could live endlessly on welfare and make no attempt to get off of it. The Welfare reforms on the 1990’s required that welfare recipients work.
Now, the Department of Health and Human Services has notified the states that if they want a waiver from the work requirement, all they have to do is ask.
Wham! Just like that a law enacted by Congress and signed by another President is set aside. Yes, it remains on the books, but it is effectively gone.
In dictatorships, Dictators make decisions and rule by decree. In a Republic, the legislature makes laws and the executive simply carries them out.
Not in the world of Obamaland. Now, in the People’s Republic of Obama, the Constitution no longer matters. If Obama does not want his top people to be confirmed by the Senate, he simply declares them Czars and puts them into positions without bothering to send them to the Senate for confirmation. He does not like the Defense of Marriage Act, he declares it unconstitutional and says he will not defend it from legal challenges.
Obama’s favorite mantra when he speaks to his adoring faithful is, “we can’t wait.” That’s his excuse. The legislative branch has the good sense to stop his stupid ideas. He does not like it so instead of compromising, he simply imposes by fiat.
Anyone remember when the Republicans went to the White House in 2009 and complained about Obama’s agenda? He simply announced, “I won.”
That is Obama. I won therefore I can do what I want.
In the last 70 years, almost all Presidents have tried to expand the power of the Presidency. Obama is not simply trying to expand the powers of the Presidency. He is trying to make it, not one of three coequal branches of government, but the dominant branch of government to which all must bow down before.
Barack Obama is the most dangerous man ever to have stepped into the Oval Office. If the GOP goes ahead and nominates Romney we will have a Republican candidate who will probably not expand the powers that Obama assumed but also will do nothing to roll them back to their Constitutional limits either.
For those of us who are baby boomers, we grew up in the greatest, freest nation this world has ever known. Now it is our freedom that may soon be on the endangered species list.

It can't be more obvious to the people and WE(TPN) see it and it seems "Joe" democrat(some of them) in the street is waking up somewhat, just not fast enough.

And if our Congress would read the Constitution and apply it to Obama's eligibility He would be in Jail along with all those that have helped him perform this fraud on the American people. He is not and never can be a Natural Born Citizen because He was not born to two citizen parents. He is the perfect example for this clause in the Constitution and they continue to close their eyes and ears. It makes me sick to see this continue. The last six months of this muslims rule will be the most dangerous for Americans, He will start a racial riot before he is done.

Force Congress to to investigate "natural born", and then have a case of "quo Warranto" brought against him as a usurper (someone holding office illegally) and have him INVALIDATED. Do you know how great that will be for the country. No fuss, no muss, just gone. Along with everything he signed and everyone he appointed.

Obama's and HIS Regimes executive orders CANNOT alter or abolish valid laws passed by congress and signed by a president. WHERE is the GOP majority in the House of Representatives??? Are there not ANY who will stand for the LAW?
Draw up the Articles of Impeachment. None need overreach, for this president and his regime have CLEARLY and irrefutably violated the constitution and numerous federal laws. Draw up the Articles of Impeachment. Vote them in the House forcing every member to VOTE on the record ... Rule of Law ... or Dictatorship.
Harry Reid has NO choice when Impeachment is voted in the House except to stand aside as the trial commences. FORCE every democrat seeking re-election to VOTE on the record ... Rule of Law ... or Dictatorship.
Then the PEOPLE will have something Deadly Serious to VOTE on in November ... Rule of Law ... or Dictatorship.
Failing to do this ... INDICTS the entire Congress!!!

Permalink Reply by Chas Jones on While I appreciate you including a link to a fine speech [one I had already seen], my points were concerning what is valid Law rather than unconstitutional acts of congress which carry NO force of law ... EVEN when signed by a president and upheld by the supreme court.
Lawlessness is becoming the NORM and unless this is not only REVERSED but CEASED, we are lost.
Our path back is an easy one ... obey our constitutions [federal AND State] and valid laws instead of passively doing NOTHING as these are routinely trampled and VIOLATED.
Congress cannot grant power to any president which congress does not possess. Nor can any of the three branches delegate to or usurp and wield those powers delegated to a specific branch. For instance, when congress writes a law allowing regulators to write regulations expanding or altering the Act passed, this is unconstitutional and "null and void." It is lawlessness that allows this to stand.

Permalink Reply by Chas Jones on States ... and the people, are the ultimate check upon attempts by any AND all of the three federal branches to usurp and wield powers denied them by our constitutions [federal AND State], and specifically the 10th amendment.
If "we the people collectively," no longer revere and DEMAND adherence to the Rule of valid Law, then we are already lost. Moreover, if our elected Governors and State legislatures refuse to perform their OATHS to uphold the Rule of valid Law, then only "we the people" remain to uphold VALID laws and to alter or abolish that government failing or refusing to so do.
Clearly, we are either very NEAR, or already past the ability to restore and defend the Rule of VALID Law and our Liberty. The election results this Fall, and the next two years, IF Romney is elected and IF the GOP regains a majority in the Senate, will go a long way in demonstrating if our elected representatives AND our citizens comprehend the danger we face and the need for an IMMEDIATE reversal of the direction in which our "Ship of State" now steers.
Far to many Folks have been asleep, misled, or apathetic for almost 100 years. Once our republic, and with it our Liberty, slip over the cliff, only death will greet them upon that sudden stop upon the canyon's floor far below.
I Pray God that He will send His Spirit of Salvation and Revival across our land ... rather than His Righteous Judgement.
