Obama: Simply clueless or lying?
Every time Barack Obama opens his mouth, anyone who has three functioning brain cells has to ask the obvious question. Is he really that clueless or is he lying to the American people?
My money is on lying.
As gas prices rise, Obama says he can do nothing about it.

Meanwhile, a big issue on the minds of voters is the skyrocketing price of gas.
Obama referred to the phrase, "there's no magic bullet." The president said any politician who says there is one is not being truthful.
Still, an ABC poll released on Monday shows Obama is taking the blame.
The poll shows two-thirds of Americans disapprove of his handling of gas prices, which is a record high for the president, and only eight months before the election.
"Well look, as long as gas prices are going up, people are going to feel like I'm not doing enough, and I understand that," Obama said.
The president said his fight for a payroll tax cut last year will help Americans afford higher gas prices.
"Ultimately, though there's no silver bullet. The way we're going to solve this problem is what we talk about today in our energy report," Obama said.
The president said America has had the highest domestic oil production in more than a decade.
The nation now exports more crude than it imports, reducing dependence on foreign oil, along with new fuel efficiency standards for cars and investments in alternative fuels.
"The bigger driver of these gas prices is speculation of war in the Middle East, which is why we've been trying to reduce loose talk about a war there," Obama said.
Republicans on the campaign trail see gas prices as a political opening against Obama.
'Your opponents say they can get gas to the $2.50 range. What do you think Americans should be OK with?" Warmoth asked.
"First of all, nobody believes that. They know that's just politics. Anybody who says we can get gas down to two bucks a gallon just isn't telling the truth," Obama said.
Obama did not give Warmoth an answer as to how much Americans should pay for gas.
However, Obama said his energy advisor did not rule out tapping the country's oil reserves.
Here is an answer for how much Americans should pay for gas. The answer is as little as possible.
Obama simply lies to the American people. History shows we can reduce the cost of gas. In 2008, as gas prices skyrocketed, George W. Bush lifted the executive order on offshore drilling. It was a symbolic move but it dropped gas prices from $4.50 a gallon to $1.60 a gallon.
Newt Gingrich has suggested gas could go down to $2.50 a gallon. They could go lower than that. The answer is simple. Drill. If we increase domestic supply, the price will go down.
Obama knows this. The problem is that Obama wants Americans to pay a lot of our gas.
Well, Obama, here’s the news. You may want Americans to pay more for gas, but real Americans do not.
Real Americans are going to put you out of office this November.

Sunday night, I paid $32 for 8.2 gallons of gas.... $3.89 + 9/10ths cents per gallon.
Any of the scum in the Senate or House who have voted against oil and natural gas drilling in the USA need to be in prison along side that Marxist on Pennsylvania Avenue.
And nuts to anyone, of any party, who disagrees.

All this energy talk almost always fails to mention one big factor: We are sending our wealth to people who hate us.
Our cities are deteriorating while new skyscrapers - each one more luxurious than the last - and the next "world's tallest" are largely being built in the Middle East.
Why do you think we've had a number of construction cranes fall? Because all the good ones are overseas where the business is - using our energy dollars.
A dollar spent in the local economy circulate nine times, unless eaten by usury.

Another Sorosian liar's nest: For those of you that put your trust in Snopes... 3rd Party source: Many of the emails that I have sent or forwarded that had any anti Obama in it were negated by Snopes. Thought that was odd. Check this out.

Snopes is heavily financed by George Soros, a big time supporter of Obama! In our Search for the truth department, we find what I have suspected on many occasions.
I went to Snopes to check something about the dockets of the new Supreme Court Justice. Elena Kagan, who Obama appointed, and Snopes said the email was false and there were no such dockets. So I Googled the Supreme Court, typed in Obama-Kagan, and guess what? Yep, you got it; Snopes Lied! Everyone of those dockets are there.
So Here is what I wrote to Snopes:

The information you have posted stating that there were no such cases as claimed and the examples you gave are blatantly false. I went directly to the Supreme Courts website, typed in Obama Kagan and immediately came up with all of the dockets that the article made reference to. I have long suspected that you really slant things but this was really shocking. Thank You. I hope you will be much more truthful in the future, but I doubt it.
That being said, Ill bet you didn't know this.
Kagan was representing Obama in all the petitions to prove his citizenship. Now she may help rule on them. Folks, this is really ugly. Chicago Politics and the beat goes on and on and on. Once again the US Senate sold us out!
Now we know why Obama nominated Elana Kagan for the Supreme Court. Pull up the Supreme Courts website, go to the docket and search for Obama. She was the Solicitor General for all the suits against him filed with the Supreme Court to show proof of natural born citizenship. He owed her big time. All of the requests were denied of course. They were never heard. It just keeps getting deeper and deeper, doesn't it? The American people mean nothing any longer. It's all about payback time for those who compromised themselves to elect someone who really has no true right to even be there.

Not only does he lie, he is ignorant of who we are, why we are and much about America or why we became the greatest Nation in the world!! Trust that HE does not see any of that or even like America! Obama deserves to be removed from his post in WA, tried for treason at Levanworth and given the suitable results for his stupidity! He is the worse excuse for the disgraceful person he is......and I do not care if he was purple with orange strips....the man is a fraud, a joke and the most miserable con man of all our history!!

Bush didn't make gas prices go down you idiot. The world economy crashed. And so did demand. If that's how you think we should have low gas prices you are sad. China and India and world demand is huge....and under Bush...before any economic collapse...gas was the highest ever. I just bought at 3.47... it was 4.60 with Bush...and was that his fault???

In the short-term (1 or 2 years), your analysis is half presented.
An increase in supply (or even a perceived or expected INCREASE IN SUPPLY as seen by traders and producers) also drives down prices. Those ideas can become a panic driven cycle in Futures speculators. Such cycles often do things that seem absurd and go completely out of hand.
In the long-term, your analysis is closer, but still far from complete. Economic "crash" in the USA has been a long, slow process; over 30 years in the making. It started in earnest in 1973 when:
1) USA allowed foreign powers (OPEC) control of our vital energy supply, and
2) non-planners began promoting the rise of the "Service Sector" (which adds no Wealth to an economy; it merely "transfers money" from one group to another). Economically, the entire service sector (especially Government) is an unproductive, drain on everyone.
BTW ...
When you want to call people names and you feel that rudeness impulse rising, try first looking in the mirror and say your insult aloud. Then see if it still seems like fun.
