Obama fan boy to join the Republican race for President.

Another liberal is joining the Republican field for President today. The media will sing and the heavens will open as Jon Huntsman announces his bid to be the next Republican nominee to be President. The liberal media will swoon and we will be constantly reminded that he speaks fluent Mandarin and rides a motorcycle.

However, there is a lot the drive-by media will not tell us about Jon Huntsman.

Huntsman is the former Governor of Utah and also more recently, the Obama regime’s ambassador to China. The left wing media will tell us what a good job he did as governor. What they are not going to say is what Huntsman believes.

Huntsman has favored cap and trade, the stimulus bill and the individual mandate of Obamacare. Let’s see, so far, is there anything he has disagreed with Obama on?

Obama’s campaign released a statement saying they were surprised Huntsman was criticizing Obama since when Obama was in Shanghai, Huntsman was busy praising Obama and wondering what was wrong with the GOP. Huntsman’s campaign has denied this.

While ordinarily much of what the Obama campaign says is unbelievable, there is the small matter of Huntsman’s letters. Huntsman has written what can only be described as fan boy letters. It would be nice if these letters were to great conservatives. Unfortunately they are not.

One is to Barack Obama and it says:

I am most grateful for the graciousness and kindness you have shown me and my family – particularly your confidence in my ability to represent you in China. Mary Kaye and I will begin our journey tomorrow – leaving behind a state we love – but also anticipating an extraordinary experience in Beijing. Huntsman also decided to send a fan boy letter to Bill Clinton.

This being my last day as governor of Utah, I wanted to express my deep gratitude for your very thoughtful note. My only regret is that we were unable to find time for a China discussion before next week’s departure for Beijing. I have enormous regard for your experience, sense of history and brilliant analysis of world events. Please save some time for me when I’m next in New York.

I must report that Sec. Clinton has won the hearts and minds of the State Dept. bureaucracy — no easy task. And after watching her in action, I can see why. She is well-read, hard working, personable and has even more charisma than her husband! It’s an honor to work with her. Hope to see you soon.

If Huntsman has written any such fawning letters to conservatives, they have not been released.

So how can Jon Huntsman be summed up in a few words? He loves every liberal position Barack Obama does, supported the most important parts of the Obama agenda.

In other words he is a Mitt Romney clone. Fortunately, Huntsman offers no compelling reason for anyone to vote for him.

Few will.

Who is Jon Huntsman? That is what I am trying to figure out. The first I heard of him the liberal media was enthusiastically promoting him several weeks ago--so a big red flag was raised. He is a Mormon and ex governor of Utah. I saw somewhere the he supported gay marriage. Interesting, since Mormons are militantly opposed to gay mariage. I am afraid to ask what he says about abortion. If he supports Obamacare and is running as a Republican he has some audacity. He never mentioned the budget deficit. I think it is safe to say he is not a tea party candidate. I think I will pass.

Conservatives Need to be Elected to The U.S. Senate

States with U.S. Senate seats up for grabbs in 2012.

Even if Obama gets re-elected a solid conseravtive majority in the senate and the House will stop, and may reverse, the damaging socialist policies of Obama. The Republicans need at least four additional seats in the senate And retain their majority in the House.
