Should we file this one under there is nothing to worry about? Probably not. In fact, it should go into the RED ALERT file.
What is it?
Well, it is the Internet. For freedom and liberty, there has not been a more beneficial tool created since the advent of the printing press. Of course this does not go over well with those who would deny freedom to their citizens or others throughout the world.
So they are doing something about it.

United States officials are expected to take further action next week to address the threat of a U.N. takeover of the Internet.
The House Energy & Commerce Subcommittee on Communications and Technology is scheduled to hold a hearing Thursday to discuss the various international proposals to regulate the Internet, which are backed by Russia, China and several former Soviet satellite countries. India and Brazil are also on board with the idea of reforming the “multi-stakeholder process” that currently regulates the Internet.
The ostensible purpose of the proposals is to update the international telecom regulations, which have not been revised in more than a decade.
FCC Commissioner Robert McDowell — who has been sounding the alarm about this potential Internet takeover since early December 2011, as previously reported by TheDC — will testify as a witness during the House hearing.
Doesn’t that make you feel so much better? The Internet could be taken over by the UN. Yes, that is the agency you are thinking of. It is the one that wastes billions of dollars, bad mouths the west, puts wonderful nations like Libya on the Human Rights Council. The one that sends peacekeepers to nations and they mostly end up raping the locals they are supposed to be protecting. Yes, that is the group.
The Internet has been a boon for freedom. No matter how hard nations try, information gets in and out. The blind Chinese activist Chen Guangcheng became a household name because of videos he uploaded to YouTube.
If we let the UN have the Internet, what do you think would happen?
If Obama has four more years, while he is busy bowing to every tyrant on the planet, do you think he might give away the Internet too?
It is not a chance we can take.

Call me a radical right-wing religious nut! I don't care, because the truth sets me free! Ultimately, we will not be able to speak ANYTHING against the regime that takes control of the World economy, and the New World Order. Whether it is Obama, or whomever comes after him. Don't anyone make the claim that these people are ingorant!
THEY ARE NOT! They have learned well from history about what it takes to oppress the masses and control us. They have noted the past flaws of tactics used before and have been refining the techniques. They also understand human nature and how the forces of that long present phenominon can be manipulated to their desired affect, steering the masses like a herd of sheep.
To counter this, we also must study history and learn the weaknesses of oppression. It's biggest weakness would be a society that also understands the ever present forces of human nature, how it can effect our personal lives, and how manipulators will attempt to trick us into believing false rhetoric. Unfortunately, most people are clueless on this matter and are manipulated easily, because of their ignorance.
Permalink Reply by Elwood Frantz on In the interest of not sounding too bad, we can prolong it, but stopping it will be virtually impossible. I know how bad that sounds, especially coming from someone like me, who at times makes Ronald Reagan look liberal, I'm so Conservative! We can do what we can to prolong it, and by that we must band together and not just talk. We need action. I know we are limited talking about things online, but it has to be done! If certain people in authority choose to cheat their way to staying in government, then we must have them arrested, or build up a power so intense that they will have to step down. There are many in this country eager to stop this, but it takes banding together like they did in the early years of this great nation. I mean, sit back and remember your childhood.....remember the good times we had growing up in a world we just knew would never perish.....and now?......think of when the next time you or your children, or their children..etc..etc... will be able to do that????!!!! Laying on the grass in a field and looking up at the clouds and making animals and stuff out of it? Even in my time, I went to the candy store and bought candy 3 for a penny. (I'm not that old, just 49!) :) You know what I mean...those days have passed us by, and we may never even be able to give that to our generations that follow! What a crying shame! This regime needs to go! NOW!

Because we have 2 or 3 people that stand up and say "the Tea Party stands behind such and such, and so and so....." Enough! We need to make the OWS crowd look like Sesame Street, and join forces all over this once great country and stand for what we believe, and let them morons in congress that think they have a free ride reel when they see that they will fall fast and hard! We need masses, not just a few! That is how you push back forces against us! Show greater force against them!

Of course we would not want to do anything that might make the other side angry and provoke them. It is better to let them be and send emails that get deleted as soon as it hits the first email server.
