Anyone who writes must find a source of inspiration for each and every thought. It would seem only right to acknowledge the man who planted the seeds that led to this effort on my part.
Judson Phillips, founder and CEO of Tea Party Nation, has lately stirred up many rousing discussions on his site about Mitt Romney. He, along with millions of other conservatives, stand firm in the belief that Romney is not the man we need in office.
Many, following the "Anyone but Obama" concept tell us that if we don't vote for Romney it is like voting for Obama. For my part, I will not vote for a Marxist, nor will I vote for a Progressive, for there is very little difference between them. Judson, on the other hand, is promoting an entirely different option: A brokered convention, which is attainable. The followers of Ron Paul are still pushing to get him into office and have begun legal actions to gain a brokered convention. If they are successful then all bets are off, and the Oval Office is once again up for grabs.
That is where my story begins because Judson's posts led to so many comments expressing such a wide range of views. Some agreed with George Soros and me that there was very little difference between Obama and Romney. Others, following the "Anybody But Obama" line of thinking agreed that Romney is a poor choice but they would hold their noses and vote for him anyway. One gentleman asked a valid question. He wanted to know how Romney got to where he is with no one wanting him. That is a good question. Then there was one genuine Romney supporter who added yet another seed that led to this essay.
One of the issues that bothers Judson, along with many others, is the question; "Why is Romney being so timid and doing virtually nothing to expose the truth about Obama to the public?" The Romney supporter explained that Judson did not understand the actions of a dignified Mormon man who would not lower himself to Obama's standards and battle tactics, and then it all fell into place, because there was nothing dignified in his vicious attacks on his conservative opponents.
He spent a fortune, showing no sign of civility to Republican rivals, and attacked with no qualms, always going for the throat. Between his ruthless assaults and smear campaigns from his allies in the mass media, GOP candidates were eliminated one by one until there was only one left standing: Mitt Romney, Golden Boy of the RNC. dignified member of the Mormon church, possible future President of the United States, and no one wants him.
Now it is as though he has been neutered; he has become totally non aggressive in the most important political race since 1860. There has to be a logical reason for the change, and I believe that I have found it.
Anytime I write and state something as a fact, I can and do provide the source of my information. When I am unable to do that, for in the world of politics much goes on behind closed door and those happenings are not on the internet, I have to rely on what facts are available, add logic and formulate a theory. This is my theory to explain Romney's big win in the primaries and his current behavior towards his "opponent".
He is a shill, plain and simple! Furthermore he does not expect to become President. The fix is in. Obama has been chosen by the powers that be to continue, but to keep Americans believing they have some input, this sham election is taking place to appease the populace. That may sound somewhat incredulous but here is why I am so certain:
Few conservatives would argue with my premise that Hussein Obama, Marxist, has infiltrated our lines and usurped the office of the Presidency. It is my firm conviction that years ago, Progressive Mitt Romney, among others, infiltrated the ranks of the Republican Party and in that inner sanctum of RINOs they have been acting collectively to do harm to this nation.
Romney is a Progressive. He has said so himself. Other well known Progressives are the Clintons, McCain, Pelosi, Reid, the media, and the shadow government that tells them all what to do. Often it is easier to connect the dots if your put yourself in the shoes of those who first set up those dots, and so I shall endeavor to do just that.
Were I a Rockefeller or a Rothschild, or George Soros I would have conducted periodic meetings concerning plans for the 2012 election. One of them may have gone something like this:
"I have been looking over the game plan to take America down and while he is not perfect, overall I am quite pleased with Barry the dancing puppet, and I want to keep him on stage to continue the decline. My biggest concern right now is that pesky nonsense of an election we have to deal with. It would be so nice to simply do away with elections altogether and just get on with the business at hand, but we don't want an uprising of millions of irate Americans, at least not yet, and so we must play their silly game and keep them believing that this is democracy at work. We'll promise them rainbows, and they probably won't even notice when we repossess their homes.
Looking back it is easy to recall how that Reagan fellow managed to slow our efforts down for eight years, and we certainly don't want a recurrence of that patriotic nonsense. Never again will we let that happen. Having a virtually unlimited supply of wealth it is fairly easy to make certain that our favorite puppet wins, but just in case something does get out of hand and the public sours on Obama, it would be a good idea to have a replacement puppet of our choosing to continue with the agenda, and so I suggest we put Mitt Romney out there as the Republican contender. We had him finish in the number two slot in 2008 so he has got his feet wet, and I'm sure he can do the job we expect of him. We'll have the RNC put on a big show of party loyalty, after that all of our forced will engage.
A good approach would be to make certain he has unlimited cash for the primary campaign, hire some really vicious speech writers, get our media to pick off those conservative rascals one at a time, and maybe we should get a few women involved. Nothing like a good old fashioned sex scandal to take a good man down, and no one will bother looking for the truth, after all, the media jocks know who signs their paychecks. They'll do as told.
Through the process of elimination we'll narrow the field until nobody's left but our man Mitt and we'll even make the public believe they chose him. They are so gullible; they'll believe anything. Sometime I almost feel sorry for them ... Almost!
Now, they don't like Romney, never have, never will, but that doesn't matter. He will be endorsed by our people in the RNC. Once it comes down to the wire they'll either vote for the man we chose for them or they'll be so disgusted they won't vote at all. Either way we win. Obama will continue smiling, telling people what they want to hear, and if they start having doubts about the bull he feeds them we'll just crank up the the media reports about all of his accomplishments. Couple that with some really juicy attacks on the people on his enemy list and we'll have John Q. Public eating out of his hands again in no time. Gotta keep'em believing while we go for the jugular.
Now, after Romney has a lock on things we can start to dry up some of his money and leak a story that his donors are not responding as expected. That will be a good excuse for him not attacking Obama the way people expect, and it might even increase public donations and take some of the financial burden off of us. We'll just have him low ball everything and speak in generalities rather than bringing out those issues we want to keep under wraps. No mention of socialism, Islam is out, ignore this birther nonsense, and it would be a good idea for him to occasionally stumble in his approach. Obama is not terribly smart but he is a great speaker, so we can have Mitt stage a few errors while Obama keeps a cool head and we should have an easy walk into a sure win with no one able to say we rigged anything.
One other thing, let's consider having Mitt make a few comments that will anger some minority groups, and cost him some votes. Nothing like hedging on the bet to widen our comfort zone.
So far everyone in the system is carrying their weight. Boehner is doing a great job. Remind me to send him a case of his favorite hooch. The RNC is really doing a bang up job. On day one we have to be certain that Romney knows the low down on choosing a veep. We need a team player this time. Ole McCain really blew it with that Palin woman and we don't need a repeat of that nonsense. He knew from the start what was expected of him but he got greedy. He really thought for a while we might look the other way and allow him to go for his glory moment. Well, John McCain learned his lesson, and now he is making up for it. I have to admit, he is doing a real bang up job over there in Libya and Syria. Just a few more countries and we'll control the Arab world."
Think my scenario of events far fetched? I do not portray Mitt Romney as Obama's lap dog lightly. His actions are very telling for any who choose to look. Mark Levin has looked and expressed himself in this essay by Judson Phillips. Then Judson posts a question of his own ... "Is Team Romney just bound and determined to lose this race so Obama can have a second term?" My answer is one very loud YES! He is just following orders.
I can ask for no better endorsement of my theory than what Judson posted in his essay.
