To paraphrase H.L. Menken, no one has ever gone broke underestimating the stupidity of liberals. Michael Moore takes this to new levels.
Michael Moore, who has made a fortune peddling his movies, which try to sell people on the wonders of socialism to the poor and uniformed. His latest lunacy is to tell rich Americans, like, well, Michael Moore, they do not own their wealth. Moore said:
“We’re not broke. This country is not broke. The state of Wisconsin is not broke. There’s a ton of cash in this country. . . . What’s happened is is that we’ve allowed a vast majority of that cash to be concentrated in the hands of just a few people. . . . They’re sitting on the money, they’re using it for their own – they’re putting it someplace else, they have no interest in helping you with your life, with that money. We’ve allowed them to take that. That’s not theirs, that’s a national resource, that’s ours. . . . I think we need to go back to taxing these people at the proper rates. They need to – we need to see these jobs as something that we own, that we collectively own as Americans and you can’t just steal our jobs and take them someplace else.”
You can’t really make this stuff up. If there were not a video of this, you would almost have to believe this is a parody.
Moore is like most liberals. They scream about how they want taxes raised yet they fight for every exemption they can find. No, Michael. That money belongs to the people who earned it, not to the government and certainly not to you.
If Michael Moore thinks the government needs more money, I suggest he give all of his money to the government. After all, it is a national resource. Let’s take your house, your cars and your other toys. After all, they are national resources.
You want the wealth of the rich taken from them? You first Michael. See the video in our video section.
