Messaging for Mitt
Does Mitt Romney really want to win the Presidency? He keeps showing up for Debate Club when this is Fight Club. The first rule of fight club is not that you do not talk about fight club. The first rule of fight club is that you win.
Does Mitt Romney really want to win?
Who knows?
But if Romney wants to win, he had better get on message quickly. He had better learn messaging.
Here is messaging for Mitt. I hope he is taking notes.
First, Barack Obama is not a nice guy. Quit saying that. No anti-American Marxist is a nice guy. You say he is a nice guy and he says you are an uptight jerk, born with a silver spoon in your mouth and you want to see Americans fired, starved and have all of their rights stripped away.
What?
If you start with the premise that he is a nice guy, you lose. The drive by media and Madison Avenue are working overtime to help Obama win the popularity contest. You won’t.
But then again, you don’t need to.
Tip O’Neil said, “All politics is local,” and you do not get any more local than the individual American and his or her economic situation.
Quit saying that we are in economic recovery. We are not. This is the Great Obama Depression. Make him own the economy.
You are not offering us a conservative alternative. Your message is that you can manage the nation better. First, your message sucks. But if that is going to be your message, then you must make him own the Great Obama Depression.
That should be your talking point. Every time you start talking about the economy, that should be your tagline. If the economy is recovering, even slowly, what the hell are you offering us?
Right now, this is the Great Obama Depression. If we calculated unemployment today, the way we did back in the first great depression, unemployment would be 17%. One out of every two college graduates cannot even find a job. The last time the Republicans controlled the government, 90% of college graduates found a job
This is not hard. It only takes a little discipline and the willingness to fight. Your big problem is that you have a serious case of “Member of the club syndrome.”
You treat Obama and the other Democrats as “members of the club.” The club is of course, the governing class. John McCain made that mistake, as did Bob Dole before him. He will not show you the same courtesy so why do you?
This is Fight Club not Debate Club. You have to be willing to throw some punches and take a few hits. You may get a bloody nose and get some blood on your freshly laundered white shirt.
So what? How badly do you want it?
John Kerry’s messaging in 2004 was, “We can do better.” Actually he could not do better but that is about as uninspiring a message as you can get.
Since you are not going to offer us a Reagan alterative to liberalism, at least do your messaging correctly so you have a chance.
Republicans are amazingly bad on messaging and even by Republican standards your messaging is abysmal.
In 1976, Ronald Reagan began mocking Gerald Ford on Détente. What had been a foreign policy triumph for Ford turned into such an albatross around his neck that Ford gave orders that his campaign not mention the word Détente.
This is simple. Four words: The Great Obama Depression.
If this is your message and you stay on it, people will vote their pocket books. All you have to do is ask them, “Are you better off now, after almost 6 years of Democrat control of the Congress or were you better off when Republicans controlled government? Are you better off now after four years of Obama or were you better off when the Republicans controlled the government.”
This is winning messaging. It is simple.
This is messaging for Mitt. The question for Mitt is, “Do you want to win?”

Ron - I have asked a lawyer, and Ann was legally married to Obama at the time of BH Obama's birth therefore, the legal father is BH Obama, regardless of where the sperm came from.

See, this is what I mean about being so frustrated. The two sources of the links I posted were from what I consider legitimate sources. If both sites are wrong then It is hard to know what is true and what is not. I guess there is no assurance of anything being correct with reports that conflict. All I do know is that I don't trust anything that comes from the government.
If you find out who the Daddy is, please let me know.

Let's see, Romney spent $27M on the 2008 campaign. This time he is again spending untold millions of his money now. Does he want to be president? Yes. Does he want it as badly as Obumer? Probably not. He is Mr Morman nice guy. Where is his fight with Gingrich style. Use that style and fight the Regime, my goodness, he's got a mountain of ammunition (record) to pound Obummer with. Romney--Get on with it, now is the time to start the war!

I knew this was going to happen...................my instincts are always right. The people are so stupid that voted for him, why because he's a good looking guy. They should've been more concerned about our disgusting government and how to fix it. I am so disappointed that Newt didn't win. At least he has b***S!

"A Better America" slogan and a his speech last week were good.. and good steps toward 'the better' message. We all need to get involved, volunteer and speak out. If you have message and slogan ideas for Mitt... get them to him and his team.
We also have to stop criticizing our nominee and instead support him and make him better; making sure that the the GOP controls the House and Senate and the state offices.
We (the GOP) has done far too much to help Obama destroy our candidate.
Whether you/we like Mitt or not or if he is/was our first choice, he now our guy, and no matter what he is better than Obama and not working and voting for him gives us 4-more years of Obama and maybe King Obama forever.
Tim will pull together and then stay involved... forever. We are in this place because as a nation we took our eye off the ball and left didn't. And correcting this mess will be a lifetime project.
So find the person on Mitt's team who can benefit from your suggestions and send them. Find a cause and campaign to volunteer for and spread the word and dig deep to defeat of Obama... if you can't call it to elect Romney.
It is our only chance!

This is the worst candidate we have ever had. He is a terrible joke. Even Obama knows this man is easy pickings. Notice at the dinner Obama made a mention to Newt its not to late. Very sad American you picked money and greed everything we have worked against. Karl Rove: it is almost impossible for Mitt to win. Really I knew that. Once again thanks America!!!!

Here is the video of the Democratic dinner. This is what we are up against. I can see that Obama's followers are taken in by the humor. This guy will "kick @ss, Mr. Romney Chicken has better do some @ss kicking himself. I just want to know if the people lauphing with obamo at this dinner are really going to like a communist run country. When will they learn and decide that they don't like it?

this is only the beginning no offense to Mormons but the hail storm is coming. Whats he going to get angry about not much. His views are a hair right of our Masters. what are they going debate? Are we kidding ourselves. I voted Newt in Oregon along with family and friends. No one I know is going to vote for Robme they can't connect with him and know he is a phoney conservative. He will manage the decay maybe, but wont fix our country. This is a lose lose situation
