In case you missed it, George Soros funded, far left wing, free speech hating Media Matters is at it again. They are still trying to silence Rush Limbaugh.
From the Washington Times:
Rush Limbaugh’s opponents are starting a radio campaign against him Thursday, seizing upon the radio star’s attack of a Georgetown law student as a “slut” to make a long-term effort aimed at weakening his business.
The liberal Media Matters for America is using a past campaign against Glenn Beck as a template. In Limbaugh, however, they’re going after bigger game. He’s already fighting back and the group’s stance has provoked concerns that an effort to silence someone for objectionable talk is in itself objectionable.
Media Matters is spending at least $100,000 for two advertisements that will run in eight cities.
The ads use Limbaugh’s own words about student Sandra Fluke, who told congressional Democrats that contraception should be paid for in health plans. Limbaugh, on his radio programs, suggested Fluke wanted to be paid to have sex, which made her a “slut” and a “prostitute.” In return for the money, he said Fluke should post videos of herself having sex. Under sharp criticism, Limbaugh later apologized.
In one of the anti-Limbaugh ads, listeners are urged to call the local station that carries Limbaugh to say “we don’t talk to women like that” in our city.
Really? Just curious when Media Matters is going to start the same campaign directed towards Bill Maher or David Letterman. How about towards MSNBC?
Fortunately, I am not holding my breath.
No one with an IQ that even registers believes that Media Matters is anything but a liberal attack group.
The attacks on Rush have already backfired as he has new advertisers replacing the old ones, some advertisers have asked to return and one in particular which had been very associated with Rush is now crashing and burning.
Of course, Rush remains the king of talk radio. Hanity remains in second place and where are the liberal talkers? Mostly talking to themselves.

Permalink Reply by Virginia Gomez on March 23, 2012 at 1:49pm I'm with you----- let me know when we can start it.
Permalink Reply by Debrajoe Smith-Beatty on March 23, 2012 at 1:55pm Today Virginia. Get the e-mail address of Maher and Letterman's stations and let the e-mails rip.
Call your local stations or cable providers. And get others to do the same. Your church, your Tea Party, your sewing circle.... If you're really avid make up some cards or flyers and hand them out when you shop. Don't forget names, addresses and phone numbers.

You don't have to join to sign the petition, but I recommend them highly.

Permalink Reply by 24AheadDotCom on March 23, 2012 at 3:07pm I'm seemingly one of the few people in the US who's willing and able to show MMFA's audience how they're being misled. I've done it in dozens of posts and dozens of comments at their site since around 2003.
Not only have I never gotten any help with that from Teaparty types, those same types work to undercut me.
I *could* write posts or comments showing how MMFA gets things about Limbaugh wrong, but why? I won't get any help with that from actual Limbaugh fans and/or Teaparty types, and those same types will keep working to undercut me.
Good luck with your campaign.
Permalink Reply by JC Patriot on March 24, 2012 at 3:20pm How does one know you are dealing with tea party types? There are way too many infiltrators on all of the sites to assume they are what they claim. If you're using logic and facts, it doesn't usually take very long for the imposters to be revealed. Eventually, they finally run out of new talking points to throw at you randomly, or they attack you personally (racist!). I have battled with them frequently out of a sense of ecucational duty, and yet for fun also. Their arguments always fall apart because they are not based in historical fact. It is a challenge to keep calm, but fun to hit them with their own arguments.
