The Obama attitude of “we are royalty” has been on full display since January 20, 2009. They believe we owe them and they take every opportunity to not only remind us of it but exploit it.

It cost taxpayers nearly a half-million dollars for first lady Michelle Obama to travel to Spain in 2010, according to an analysis by Judicial Watch.
The right-leaning watchdog group estimated that the trip cost $467,585. It based its analysis on documents obtained from the U.S. Secret Service and the U.S. Air Force.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said it took his group “two years and a lawsuit to get these documents out of the Obama administration.”
“It is hypocritical for President Obama to fire GSA officials for wasteful conference spending, while his family went on a luxury vacation in the Costa del Sol Spain that cost taxpayers nearly half a million dollars,” Fitton said.
Among the various travel costs, the group estimated — using the Defense Department’s 2010 published hourly rates — that it cost the government $199,323 to fly to Spain and back to the United States.
The New York Times reported that those on the trip included the first lady, one of her daughters and “two friends and four of their daughters, as well as a couple of aides and a couple of advance staff members.”
Fitton’s group has previously disclosed the cost of sending the first family on overseas trips. Its analysis indicated that it cost $424,142 to fly the first family to South Africa and Botswana in 2011.

If she wants to take a vacation or if Barack Obama wants to go, let them pay for it. The Obamas are a part of the 1% they keep whining about.
The Obamas keep demanding that real Americans pay more in taxes. They say we should pay our “fair share.”
Apparently their definition of fair share does not apply to them, as they pay less than Warren Buffet’s secretary does for taxes.
Why should any America be required to pay more in taxes when hundreds of billions are wasted in fraud and government misspending? Why should Americans be forced to pay more in taxes just so Michelle Obama can blow a million for a vacation that 99% of all Americans cannot afford.
This is just another reason why the Obamas must go!

If you only hear what he says and pay no attention to what they do, well I guess the stupid will vote for him again. He is a fraud and I wish all in Washington who know it (and many do) would stand together and put them out.

A five day vacation complete with all the friends and family and Secret Service and personal aides only cost a total of $500,000? BS The way she is accustomed to eating and living in style? About 15 people including herself, 15 members of flight crew, and whatever number of SS agents that went (25 went to Mexico with daughter for Spring Break), plus add the pre-trip crew to secure the area. You want me to believe that this trip only cost $500,000? Were these books cooked too?????

Permalink Reply by Ed Stoneham on If you were Barack Obama and you knew that you would either have to succeed in a coup or flee the country to avoid jail time once people found out that you really did forge your birth certificate and your social security and selective service cards, what would you be doing right now? MIght you and Michelle live it up, for example, while the living is good? Might you travel to interesting countries like Brazil and check out potential new places for your family to live? Might you not maintain good apologetic relationships with dictators in non-extradition countries throughout the world? MIght you not seek potential United Nations protection?

I recall reading that the Trumans took a driving vacation after WW2 one year to see the New England states. They went in their own car, Harry drove, no Secret Service men went along, and the Trumans paid for everything, including gas, lodging, food, etc. Compare their trip to the Obamas' vacations!
And then compare the Trumans' attitudes to the Obamas' --
