John Boehner has got to be one of the most obtuse politicians to ever walk the planet. Just when you thought he could not get any worse, he has.
What has he done right now?
He has issued an edict. Republicans are not to gloat if the Supremes do the right thing and strike down Obama.
John, who the hell made you king?
Republicans should celebrate the defeat of Obamacare.
Let’s be blunt. Obamacare is evil. There is no other word to describe it.
Obamacare is the step that the Party of Treason must take in order to force a single payer healthcare system on America.
What is wrong with single payer? Well, all of the payments will come from the government. It will destroy innovation and the effectiveness of the healthcare system.
As Britain or Canada how well that is working out. In Britain, not only are many Britons reduced to pulling their own teeth and often have to wait over a year just to see a specialist.
Obamacare is evil for one major reason. It puts the power of life and death for the average citizen in the hands of the state.
Single payer means the government will decide what bills are paid. They will decide what healthcare Americans get. The government will ration healthcare. This is what is happening in socialist nations right now.
Obamacare and single payer changes the relationship between the American citizen and his government. No longer will this be a government of the people, by the people and for the people, it will be a government of the bureaucrats.
Our national values will no longer be those of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
We will be the slaves of the state. We will be the property of the state because healthcare will be rationed.
Government bureaucrats will decide what treatment you get. Unfortunately, many will be treated like an old truck, when the owner decides a new front end is too expensive and it is just time to get rid of it.
Now, our government will decide if we are worth repairing, based on cost, our value to society and how much money is in the budget. If you think insurance companies are bad now, wait until you see Obamacare.
If the Supreme Court strikes down Obamacare, it is something to celebrate. It is a defeat for evil. Does anyone really think Obama and the Party of Treason will not be celebrating if the Supreme Court destroys freedom in America by upholding Obamacare?
Perhaps Boehner does not want Republicans celebrating the demise of Obamacare because he is already working on Romneycare and that could be used against him.
Could it be?
Meanwhile, here is a memo to the Republicans.
If we win, celebrate.

Permalink Reply by JC Patriot on June 21, 2012 at 7:17pm Dennis, are you aware than doctors and patients seemed to be doing just fine before the government decided to get involved in the 1960's? Why is healthcare any different than food, gas, plumbing, insulation, etc.? The answer is that it is not. It should be freely PURCHASED by anybody wanting some. If they cannot afford it, they can ask nicely and receive what care is needed. After all, doctors are actually human beings, too.
Liberals like to think they have a monopoly on compassion, just not with their own money.
"Profit-driven companies?" What is it with this crap? Everybody that has a job is doing it for profit, too. Are they evil? I guess everyone is just supposed to all work for free and live in one big socialist commune? Now there's a model you can really be proud of!

Permalink Reply by Dennis Millner on June 21, 2012 at 7:13pm John: Why do you feel it's necessary to get nasty about this? Am I attacking you? Is this a discussion, or something else?
Permalink Reply by Dennis Millner on June 21, 2012 at 7:27pm @JC Patriot- Healthcare is different from commodities because first, if you don't get good health care, you might die. That makes it hard for individuals to say no to things, it makes it hard for insurers to resist the backlash that comes when they say no to things, and it makes it hard for government to say no to things. And second, most health-care costs are subsidized by a third-party (employers for most of us, taxpayers for seniors and the poor), which means the people receiving the benefit aren't feeling the cost.
Healthcare is not plumbing. Healthcare is not predictable like the cost of goods and other services.
And I'm in complete agreement with you that it can or should be freely purchased, with everyone having some skin in the game.
Permalink Reply by JC Patriot on June 21, 2012 at 7:30pm Healthcare is no different. If I don't get good commodities, I might die --same with heat, A/C, housing, food, medicine, etc. Show me in the Constitution where healthcare is different. If you don't like that document, show me in the Bible.
The compassion/sympathy argument is used for all liberal causes. Quit pretending to play God with somebody else's money.
Permalink Reply by John S Bacsenko IV on June 21, 2012 at 7:34pm I'm certainly not getting nasty......I'm enjoying the conversation here. But let us recap this situation where it began, shall we Dennis? THIS is TPN......a blog where Conservatives congregate to compare thoughts and feelings. The administrator of the site posts a blog casting a poor light on John Boenher and Obamacare. Without more than 2 or 3 replies, along comes DaveS. It's obvious he disagrees with members of this site. In you stroll, Dennis and agree with DaveS. Now, let's set the record straight here, Den. Your welcome here, I think I can speak for most if not all here that we believe in Bill of Rights in total here. All are free to post replies and converse as you like. But, Dennis, if you intend to be here to disagree with everything posted and replied to, why bother? Why come here and have everyone come down on you so hard for supporting Obamacare? You do bewilder me somewhat Dennis, it wouldn't be my first choice (or my last choice for that matter) to enter or join a liberal blog to get my head bashed in for my efforts. So, I gather it's one of two things, possibly both. Either you at best a liberal troll bent on disruption of conservative views and discussions or, maybe you just crave some attention and would even take attention in the form of abuse, in which case you just might need some medical insurance. Please, feel free to stay and absorb...my America is free!

Permalink Reply by Dennis Millner on June 21, 2012 at 7:53pm John, I'm here because I'm an independent, looking to see what the Tea Party believes and what makes it tick. And frankly, I haven't seen much that makes me think that the Tea Party has an open mind about much of anything. As a group, you appear to be deeply mired in an exclusionary agenda that is different in philosophy but hardly different in kind from any extremist organization; left, middle or right. There appears to be little or no room for the basic exchange of ideas, and the dialogue you recycle seems to be about negativity and not much else. I try and live in a society and government that I view as highly imperfect, requiring the exercise of practicality and common sense. And without hatred.
Permalink Reply by JC Patriot on June 21, 2012 at 8:02pm This is not about being in a big, warm fuzzy group. It is, however, about adhering to the proper role of government in the Constitution, and how the individual freedom is never to be replaced with "the greater good." That is exactly the tactic used by hucksters to fool the masses into giving up their freedoms in return for their "daily bread."
We are Taxed Enough Already, and you should have known that without having to "look."
Independent? What drugs do you think we are on to swallow that one?

Den.......these people here joined for the same reason I did....... exhausted of patience with a government that places itself high and above the people that mandate it. These 'career' politicians have done it to themselves; placed themselves on high and mighty pillars head and shoulders above the very same folks that elected them. Now, they don't want to let go.....at your expense and mine. Call me a radical, call me extremist....I don't care.....but I have sons who deserve the same freedoms I was entitled to when I was younger; time for apathy is over, Dennis. If it takes being extreme to protect freedom.......then that is how I am, extreme. Too long we've taken it laying down Dennis, far too long. You are free to join us. You are also free to toss your hands in the air and say 'I quit' too......I support your right to that.
I mean, Jeez Dennis.....stand up and be counted, don't lay down and die when Obama says it's your time too!
