John Boehner has got to be one of the most obtuse politicians to ever walk the planet.  Just when you thought he could not get any worse, he has.

What has he done right now?

He has issued an edict.  Republicans are not to gloat if the Supremes do the right thing and strike down Obama.

John, who the hell made you king?

Republicans should celebrate the defeat of Obamacare.

Let’s be blunt.  Obamacare is evil.  There is no other word to describe it.

Obamacare is the step that the Party of Treason must take in order to  force a single payer healthcare system on America.

What is wrong with single payer?  Well, all of the payments will come from the government.  It will destroy innovation and the effectiveness of the healthcare system.

As Britain or Canada how well that is working out.  In Britain, not only are many Britons reduced to pulling their own teeth and often have to wait over a year just to see a specialist.

Obamacare is evil for one major reason.  It puts the power of life and death for the average citizen in the hands of the state.

Single payer means the government will decide what bills are paid.  They will decide what healthcare Americans get.  The government will ration healthcare.  This is what is happening in socialist nations right now.

Obamacare and single payer changes the relationship between the American citizen and his government.  No longer will this be a government of the people, by the people and for the people, it will be a government of the bureaucrats.

Our national values will no longer be those of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

We will be the slaves of the state.  We will be the property of the state because healthcare will be rationed.

Government bureaucrats will decide what treatment you get.  Unfortunately, many will be treated like an old truck, when the owner decides a new front end is too expensive and it is just time to get rid of it.

Now, our government will decide if we are worth repairing, based on cost, our value to society and how much money is in the budget.  If you think insurance companies are bad now, wait until you see Obamacare.

If the Supreme Court strikes down Obamacare, it is something to celebrate.  It is a defeat for evil.  Does anyone really think Obama and the Party of Treason will not be celebrating if the Supreme Court destroys freedom in America by upholding Obamacare?

Perhaps Boehner does not want Republicans celebrating the demise of Obamacare because he is already working on Romneycare and that could be used against him.

Could it be?

Meanwhile, here is a memo to the Republicans.

If we win, celebrate.

Not true.  Now illegals and many of those who could afford to pay most or all of their own healthcare costs can now be freeloaders.  They are also called criminals by some.

LOL....'some'?!? Try all as per the Constitution, brother!

@Carol- We're up to our eyeballs in debt, and one of the biggest factors is the cost of health care. And it's been shown that free market principles when applied to health care cost and coverage just don't work very well. In our society, in the process of being good citizens we're required to pay taxes, join the military if called upon, and personally I view the concept of all Americans taking responsibility for their coverage as part of the whole. Do I think that Obamacare is some kind of magic fix, not without major issues and not in need of major adjustment? No, I don't. But do I think that our health care system is in major need or repair, is bankrupting us and that there are better, other ways to do it? Yes, I do. I could give you a rundown of all of the health care systems in major industrialized countries, but I doubt that you have any interest in listening. The insurance industry and the politicians they've bought have created enough scare and misinformation to poison the well, and keep their cushy overpriced systems in place. So in that regard they've won, and it's time to spike the ball. But the simple reality is that there are other systems in the industrialized world - most- with better or equal quality of care at a fraction of what we pay here. That's the fact. But most people here, about 90% get their coverage through their employers and have no real interest in taking responsibility. And operate with the illusion that they have some kind of choice in the coverage that they have. Health care reform doesn't have to be mandated, it is simply one option. But this system does need reform in a big way, and sticking our heads in the sand accomplishes nothing.

Um.....Dennis?

I have no employer offered health care.....so......you want me to pay my own way, and everyone else's as well?  No thanks Dennis.  I'll pay cash and take my chances based on my freedom of choice and being American.  I do NOT want "Big" making ANY choices for me in any cases.  The Constitution is there to protect my right to choose and be free.  Tuck that one in your statistics grinder and see what comes out!

And everytime liberal healthcare has been tried, such as Romneycare or Tennessee's version of hillarycare it never saves money. How many times do you have to be Wong before you figure out you are wrong.

All systems must begin somewhere, and few begin as perfect designs. And there is no health care system anywhere that isn't in constant change and adjustment. The reality of the systems that work better than ours in both quality of care and percentage of GDP boils down to two main points: everyone participates and there are no completely free rides; there is some form of panel or commission to effectively control cost. And when you don't have both - i.e. Romneycare- then it doesn't really work. I understand Mr. Phillips that this is anathema to you- liberal socialism or whatever you choose to label it - but understand that I don't love or like the reality of this myself. But this is reality, and is becoming a kind of life or death for this country. Profit driven companies operating in a pseudo free market drive costs through the roof, and into the stratosphere. This system is broken. And is some other way of fixing it - any other way-  liberal, or is it simply a necessity based upon the dire circumstance we find ourselves in?

Dennis?!?

You may be willing to 'lay down and die' in front of Mr Obama's plan to take our freedoms......but I am not, sir.  Feel free to introduce me to a plan that doesn't attempt to force me, under threat of penalty, to buy something I don't want or need.

John, no one lives in this society and leaves this life without medical care and attention. So you can pretend that you don't need it, but in fact - sooner or later- you do. So you would choose to take money out of other people's pockets to support the illusion that any of us have any choice in this?

Don't you just love the liberal trolls who come in. The free market delivers the greatest services for the least cost. Central planning was tried by your beloved soviet union. There is a reason why the ussr collapsed.

Actually, I like the idea that it's my decision if I need health care or not. And I decide just what treatment I will accept. And if I can't pay for my care, I'll take care of myself. When did getting a mammogram become like eating food.

Our rights do not include health care.

But if government would stay out of health care, and insurance was NOT requred to do everything for our bodies, we could pick and choose what to buy or if we wanted to buy anything.

When government pays for your care, you have become a GI. And most likely they won't think you're a good one when you need healthcare.

Oh....I am so very much loving this!  Dennis, you made me laugh to beat all hell!  I understand now; You've already renounced your right to freedom of choice and your American birth-right under the Constitution.  You seem very contented to allow Obama to urinate all over your liberties, but, no matter how much MIC CHECK time you put in, you fail to convince me to relinquish my right to choose what I spend my money on.

........Please, Dennis, carry on.......you are entertaining me splendidly!

@Judson- The reality is that the free market does not deliver the greatest service at the least cost when it comes to health care. Do a little research, and you will see that this is the case. I am not attacking the free market. I am pointing to the reality of how and why health care is bankrupting the nation.

Why is so necessary for you to call me a communist - just too easy- for pointing to some basic facts? Is this what you do with everyone you disagree with? I'm not attacking you or your beliefs.
