America is so screwed.  We have the Party of Treason doing its best to bankrupt America and then we have John Boehner.

John Boehner is all that stands between Barack Obama’s goals of destroying America’s economy.   What do we get with Boehner?

We get his freshly laundered white flag of surrender.

First he surrendered on raising tax rates and then he offered Barack Obama a “clean vote” on raising the debt ceiling.

What kind of raging moron is Boehner?

The Debt Ceiling is the strongest point of leverage Republicans have to stop Obama.  And Boehner simply wants to surrender it.

What the hell are the Republicans thinking?

Ronald Reagan once called the GOP the “Fraternal Order of Politicians.”  He is right.  The Republican Party has no interest in saving the nation.  They just want to get to their Washington cocktail parties.

This is a call to the Republican Party.

Dump Boehner now.

This is not even negotiable.

If the Republicans in Congress allow John Boehner to continue to negotiate, Barack Obama will have total victory.

This is not simply a partisan battle to see which party comes out on top.  This is a fight for the life of America.

We are looking at a national debt of $25 trillion by 2022.  This is not survivable.  Right now America’s per capita national debt is higher than Greece’s debt and we see where Greece is.

Obama and the Party of Treason show no interest in stopping the rate of spending or the increase in our debt.  Under Obama’s plan, all of the new tax revenue will go not to reducing our debt but will go towards even more spending.

This will accelerate the national debt.

How?

Liberals never get as much money as they think they will when they raise taxes.  But the do always spend more than they say they will.

At some point we will see an American economic collapse if we do not stop borrowing money and get our fiscal house in order.

Unfortunately for America, fiscal collapse is exactly what Obama and the Party of Treason wants.  Even worse for America, a gutless buffoon who cannot fight leads the GOP.  No, correct that, he will not fight.

He walks into his negotiations and offers to surrender every strong point he has.  What the hell does he think is going to happen later when it comes time to address spending?

Nothing will happen because Obama will have no incentive to address spending.

If you have not called your Republican Congressman today and demanded that he or she vote against John Boehner when he is nominated to be Speaker again in January, then you need to.

This is not even debatable.  If Boehner surrenders, then conservatives en mass should leave the Republican Party and should do so in a very loud manner.

The fate of the nation rests on a man who is afraid to take on the enemy but is quite willing to stab fellow Republicans in the back.

We are so screwed.

There is a simple answer:  A PLEDGE TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!

WE WILL NOT GIVE ONE DIME TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY OR ANY CANDIDATE THAT IS AFFILIATED WITH THE GOP UNTIL BOEHNER IS A DISTANT MEMORY!

I NOW TAKE THIS PLEDGE HOW MANY WILL JOIN ME???

IF THEY REPLACE HIM WITH ANOTHER RINO WE CAN TAKE ANOTHER PLEDGE.

LET THEM RUN WITH OUT OUR MONEY!

Pass this pledge on to everyone on your mailing list!

I am not a republican and have not been in over 10 years I am an Independent, gave up on the republican  party then

That's my pledge......I will not be the useful idiot of the Republican Party anymore.

I have also taken this stance.  I am no longer donating to the Republican Party until Boehner is ousted and there are some serious changes.  Though, I am beginning to think it is too late for the Republican Party.  We need a face lift and we should call the new party "The Founding Father's Party".  Where we will have true conservatives and patriots.

Hitler purged Conservatives too... it was called the Night of the Long Knives.

Is there going to be a petition to oust Boehner?

HAVE YOU ALL HEARD ABOUT THE LATEST OFFER: (sorry not yelling, just wanted to make certain you all saw this):

Obama's New Fiscal Cliff Offer: Tax Hikes on $400K, 2-Year Debt Ceiling Extension

17 Dec 2012, 6:25 PM PDT 8 post a comment

Today, President Obama met with Speaker of the House John Boehner yet again … and yet again, favored White House media outlet Politico had the inside track. According to Politico, Obama made a new offer on tax rates, proposing that tax rate hikes afflict only those earning in excess of $400,000 per year. Politico paints this as a massive compromise effort by Obama; they also paint Obama’s willingness to make a dollar-for-dollar spending cuts to new revenue deal as a huge move on his part. So much for the vaunted ten-to-one cuts to tax hikes ratio Republicans were supposed to accept during the Republican primaries; now they’re supposed to celebrate a one-to-one ratio that will likely never be achieved.

The White House says this offer is “good.”

According to Boehner spokesman Brendan Buck – who apparently is talking to Politico because it’s friendly to Republicans who cave – the Speaker is increasingly happy with Obama’s proposals. ““Any movement away from the unrealistic offers the President has made previously is a step in the right direction, but a proposal that includes $1.3 trillion in revenue for only $930 billion in spending cuts cannot be considered balanced,” he said “We hope to continue discussions with the President so we can reach an agreement that is truly balanced and begins to solve our spending problem.”

Obama still wants unemployment benefits extended, stimulus spending, and most importantly, a two-year indefinite suspension of the debt ceiling.

Update: I wonder what this concession bought from Boehner:

President Barack Obama has proposed a deficit-reduction package to House Speaker John Boehner (BAY’-nur) that would increase the top tax rates on taxpayers earning more than $400,000, cut more spending from health care programs and add $200 billion more in spending cuts over 10 years to his earlier offer.

Boehner had proposed an earnings threshold of $1 million for higher rates. Obama dropped his demand that individuals making more than $200,000 pay higher rates.

A higher threshold for the top bracket means less revenue raised once the new rate goes into effect, which in turn means less deficit reduction. But the tax part about this has never been about deficit reduction. If Obama cared about that, he’d have a serious entitlement reform plan on the table. This is about “fairness,” in all its arbitrary glory. The new threshold for what’s “fair”: More taxes from people who makes $400,000 or more.

House moves on tax cut in lieu of White House agreement

http://www.humanevents.com/2012/12/18/house-moves-on-tax-cut-in-lie...

House Speaker John Boehner announced this morning that the Republican-controlled House will move forward with a plan of their own, in lieu of an agreement with President Barack Obama, to cancel out certain tax hikes taking effect on Jan. 1.

Boehner (R-Ohio) said the House would vote early this week to extend tax breaks for those making less than $1 million a year.

“Plan B is to protect as many American taxpayers as we can,” Boehner said. “It’s not a time to put Americans through more stress.”

The last deal offered by the president and rejected by House Republicans called for $1.3 trillion in new revenues, or tax hikes, with a commitment to reduce the deficit by $850 billion.

“Many times, the speaker felt he was negotiating with himself,” said Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.).

The alternative plan put forward by Boehner address only part of the so-called “fiscal cliff,” lawmakers must still decide how to address a slew of automatic spending cuts on military and domestic programs that also takes effect on Jan. 1.

Have been hearing that "Plan B" was immediately rejected by the WH and Dingy Harry said it wouldn't pass in the Senate. . .where exactly is it written that the legislation that comes out of the House has to get a seal of approval with the Senate BEFORE the House passes it. . .in other words, why shouldn't the House just pass legislation based on their principles (lol--I know, the current GOP/RINOs in the House don't have any), send it up to the Senate and let them accept or reject it?  Why the heck does the House/leadership (spineless jelly fish) kowtow to the WH/Senate. . .pass what you know is right and let the WH/Senate reject it and let them be responsible (ie, the budget. . .why is it that the GOP hasn't been clamoring about not having one for how many years now. . .that's a Dem Sen who needs to own that). . .I just don't get it
