Just based on polling data, a lot of conservatives will not like this message. Those taking the TPN survey say Cain should stay in the race, 83-17.
Herman Cain has got to go.
I will repeat what I have said earlier. I like Herman Cain. Of all of the candidates, he would probably be my first choice to sit down and have a pizza with. But to quote the famous line from the Godfather, its not personal, its business.
I do not believe Cain’s accusers. There are too many questions about them.
The allegations are not why Cain should leave. The campaign’s response is why he should now withdraw.
According to published reports, the Cain campaign knew about the Politico story TEN DAYS before it was published.
What the hell were they doing?
I can tell you what they were not doing. They were not preparing for this. Just in case anyone missed it, an allegation of sexual harassment could be a game changer. It could seriously damage or even destroy a candidate.
When you have that kind of notice you prepare for the hit. You hire crisis management experts. You get your story together and you create and execute a strategy to deal with the story.
Cain’s campaign did none of that.
Amateurs run the Cain campaign and you cannot have amateurs running a political campaign.
The final straw for me was Mark Block’s appearance on Hannity claiming that the son of one of the accusers, Karen Kraushaar worked at Politico, which originally broke the story.
Oops. No, Josh Kraushaar who had worked at Politico and now works at the National Journal is not only not her son, he is not related to her.
This comes after last week’s spray and pray spread of blame against Rick Perry.
Herman Cain finally did a press conference yesterday. He was strong in the press conference but it was too little too late.
Herman Cain’s selling points are his business background. To steal a line from a TV commercial, he is telling us that his core competency is competency.
No it isn’t!
Herman Cain should have been in a conference room with the senior leadership of his campaign 24 hours into this “crisis” demanding to know from them why the hell they were not ready for the crisis and what they were doing about it?
Ten days in, the Cain campaign is still stumbling around like newly castrated cattle.
Mark Block should have been gone nine days ago. Cain should have a competent team in place by now as well as someone really good at crisis management. So far, it is not there.
If Cain cannot run his own campaign, how is he going to run the country? A few days ago, I would have been willing to accept Cain as the nominee. Cain was not my first choice but I could have easily supported him.
If Cain cannot manage his own campaign, what is he going to do with the country? If he cannot get good people in to handle a crisis like this, who is he going to put in to handle the crisis when that phone in the White House is ringing at 3AM and he is told that Ahmadinejad has a nuclear weapon and is threatening to use it against America?
I like Herman Cain on a personal level, but not as President.
It is time for him to leave the race.
I am against Cain because he is superficial. Ask a question about government and Cain is nowhere. Sure he has brains and that should be the reason to have him president? If you study his career it is quite marginal. Oh the reason to have him president is because he is black, speaks well, and has a nice face; well brother Obozzo had those qualities, and superficial experience too. What is sad no one so far has dug into Cain's background. One thing that stands out, he has strong feeling for his people as, not so far as affirmative action you betcha, but equal opportunity despite fitness. Cain when asked a question on government he dodges the matter, saying that his people will be apprising him of the matter and posturing that the issue requires "clarify, clarify and clarify." I fear once again that we will have another Obozzo. Kill the country while struggling with the job. Well maybe America must sacrifice, again and again as makeup for the sins of the Federalists, the name of the Progressives back then.
That's Ok, Not everyone supports the other choices either But Herman Cain's not backing down and you can't compare Obama to Herman Cain
Obama from the very beginning declared what He was and what He wanted to do and He kept his word
CHANGE and are you happy with that change? Because if you think Mitt Romney will deliver that blow needed to take out Obama you are wrong!
If you think Newt or Ron Paul will do it I say Ya..... Lots of luck! Herman Cain is different because He is not one of the Good Old Boys in the GOP. He is a Business man with the Experience and Leadership needed to defeat that BOZO in the White House.
If we get it wrong America............................. LOOK AT WHAT YOU WILL HAVE FOR ANOTHER FOUR YEARS!
Doc, why not get your own site , then you can post whatever amount of graphics you desire.
Judson, there isn't some policy about this.
Censorship request? Cannot the doc express his opinion with visual aids? Perhaps some candidates could use cribsheets or cliffsnotes whenever they find themselves stuck.
JC, so true. Doc is so beloved on this site. I hope he keeps graphic-ing away, because the patriots here love it! You go, Doc! We love you!
pictures are worth a 1000 words. people remember images longer than words written.
but I will be more selective
Keep on doing your thing, Doc. We love it. You're a Patriot, No Question !
Rock on Doc.
Jerry your basis of not digging into a candidate's background, as in the case of Cain is the same as being
THANK YOU BUT I DISAGREE
However, I will think about what you said.............OK I disagree :)
