Just based on polling data, a lot of conservatives will not like this message. Those taking the TPN survey say Cain should stay in the race, 83-17.
Herman Cain has got to go.
I will repeat what I have said earlier. I like Herman Cain. Of all of the candidates, he would probably be my first choice to sit down and have a pizza with. But to quote the famous line from the Godfather, its not personal, its business.
I do not believe Cain’s accusers. There are too many questions about them.
The allegations are not why Cain should leave. The campaign’s response is why he should now withdraw.
According to published reports, the Cain campaign knew about the Politico story TEN DAYS before it was published.
TEN DAYS!
What the hell were they doing?
I can tell you what they were not doing. They were not preparing for this. Just in case anyone missed it, an allegation of sexual harassment could be a game changer. It could seriously damage or even destroy a candidate.
When you have that kind of notice you prepare for the hit. You hire crisis management experts. You get your story together and you create and execute a strategy to deal with the story.
Cain’s campaign did none of that.
Amateurs run the Cain campaign and you cannot have amateurs running a political campaign.
The final straw for me was Mark Block’s appearance on Hannity claiming that the son of one of the accusers, Karen Kraushaar worked at Politico, which originally broke the story.
Oops. No, Josh Kraushaar who had worked at Politico and now works at the National Journal is not only not her son, he is not related to her.
This comes after last week’s spray and pray spread of blame against Rick Perry.
Herman Cain finally did a press conference yesterday. He was strong in the press conference but it was too little too late.
Herman Cain’s selling points are his business background. To steal a line from a TV commercial, he is telling us that his core competency is competency.
No it isn’t!
Herman Cain should have been in a conference room with the senior leadership of his campaign 24 hours into this “crisis” demanding to know from them why the hell they were not ready for the crisis and what they were doing about it?
Ten days in, the Cain campaign is still stumbling around like newly castrated cattle.
Mark Block should have been gone nine days ago. Cain should have a competent team in place by now as well as someone really good at crisis management. So far, it is not there.
If Cain cannot run his own campaign, how is he going to run the country? A few days ago, I would have been willing to accept Cain as the nominee. Cain was not my first choice but I could have easily supported him.
No longer.
If Cain cannot manage his own campaign, what is he going to do with the country? If he cannot get good people in to handle a crisis like this, who is he going to put in to handle the crisis when that phone in the White House is ringing at 3AM and he is told that Ahmadinejad has a nuclear weapon and is threatening to use it against America?
I like Herman Cain on a personal level, but not as President.
It is time for him to leave the race.
You know folks it amazes me how quickly we throw each other to the wolves because of something that is said or written that we don't like. I personally disagree with Mr. Phillips why? Because of a simple and truthful Biblical principle, You run the race to win!

You see, Me or anyone for that matter could site Mr. Gingrich's faults, failings, or problems from his past, and to me, a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ the act of infidelity, abandonement, and adultery are significant and major character flaws in an individual. Being part of the "Professional Political Establishment" (regardless of party affiliation) as many of the GOP Candidates are should be for all us and is for me a great concern. But I also believe that people can truly change or be changed.
A candidate who runs for a party endorsement i.e. RNC or DNC and then runs as an independent or under some different party banner because they do not win "Their Parties Endorsement" could be considered untrustworthy or possibly unreliable because they are betraying "Their Party Affiliation". They claim to be one thing and then jump ship when things don't go their way. Rather than standing firm and resolute even against ones fellows they help their opponents by dividing ranks and causing discord thus they are in essence what the Word of God calls "A Double Minded Man"

My conservatism, i.e. = my conservative beliefs, values, and principles are not based in Limbaughism, Beckism, Republicanism, or even Reaganism, although I consider Ronald Reagan one of, if not the greatest President of the 20th century, my conservatism is rooted and grounded in a much deeper and more stable foundation than these.
I started participating in Tea Party activities as best as I could because I was and am tired of always voting for the lesser of two evils, I was and am tired of the same old same old. We have been conditioned to think and believe that we only have the choice that the RNC tells us we have but my choice is my choice, my vote is my vote just as yours belongs to you.
In truth one cannot argue that in the debates Mr. Gingrich is probably the smartest man in the room and a great debater but being the smartest and the best debater doesn't make you the best person for the job. Barrack HUSSEIN Obama proves this point. Remember how the MSM praised Obama as a greqat orater or speaker even to point of "Chills Running Up My Leg" at every turn and yet when the teleprompter is removed he becomes as cluttsey and fumbly over his words and speech as some of us were in school playing sports or speaking in front of the class.
We each have our own personal choices and myself, I like Herman Cain because he's not part of the establishment, he's an outsider and I'm tired of the RNC telling me who is going to President.

I have Home Pages on a lot of Tea party groups and I see a lot of Polls and Herman Cain is growing support I believe faster than Mitt Romney. It is Mitt Romney that should step down and Rick Perry too.
They should ask their supporters to go to Herman Cain and in 2012 Take Obama out in the Election.
