Just based on polling data, a lot of conservatives will not like this message.  Those taking the TPN survey say Cain should stay in the race, 83-17.

Herman Cain has got to go.

I will repeat what I have said earlier.  I like Herman Cain.  Of all of the candidates, he would probably be my first choice to sit down and have a pizza with.  But to quote the famous line from the Godfather, its not personal, its business.

I do not believe Cain’s accusers.  There are too many questions about them.

The allegations are not why Cain should leave.  The campaign’s response is why he should now withdraw.

According to published reports, the Cain campaign knew about the Politico story TEN DAYS before it was published.

TEN DAYS!

What the hell were they doing?

I can tell you what they were not doing.   They were not preparing for this.  Just in case anyone missed it, an allegation of sexual harassment could be a game changer.  It could seriously damage or even destroy a candidate.

When you have that kind of notice you prepare for the hit.   You hire crisis management experts.  You get your story together and you create and execute a strategy to deal with the story.

Cain’s campaign did none of that.

Amateurs run the Cain campaign and you cannot have amateurs running a political campaign.

The final straw for me was Mark Block’s appearance on Hannity claiming that the son of one of the accusers, Karen Kraushaar worked at Politico, which originally broke the story.

Oops.  No, Josh Kraushaar who had worked at Politico and now works at the National Journal is not only not her son, he is not related to her.

This comes after last week’s spray and pray spread of blame against Rick Perry.

Herman Cain finally did a press conference yesterday.  He was strong in the press conference but it was too little too late.

Herman Cain’s selling points are his business background.  To steal a line from a TV commercial, he is telling us that his core competency is competency.

No it isn’t!

Herman Cain should have been in a conference room with the senior leadership of his campaign 24 hours into this “crisis” demanding to know from them why the hell they were not ready for the crisis and what they were doing about it?

Ten days in, the Cain campaign is still stumbling around like newly castrated cattle.

Mark Block should have been gone nine days ago.  Cain should have a competent team in place by now as well as someone really good at crisis management.  So far, it is not there.

If Cain cannot run his own campaign, how is he going to run the country?  A few days ago, I would have been willing to accept Cain as the nominee.   Cain was not my first choice but I could have easily supported him.

No longer.

If Cain cannot manage his own campaign, what is he going to do with the country?  If he cannot get good people in to handle a crisis like this, who is he going to put in to handle the crisis when that phone in the White House is ringing at 3AM and he is told that Ahmadinejad has a nuclear weapon and is threatening to use it against America?

I like Herman Cain on a personal level, but not as President.

It is time for him to leave the race.

I agree with you.

TPN has disillusioned me.   You have missed the main point on two candidates -- both of whom promise more of the same. I belonged to a Tea Party group long before you ran around in front of the crowd nationally and said "Follow me".   Nothing doing.

Cain has a soft spot for the big problem -- the so-called Federal Reserve where he served in Kansas City.   They are neither federal nor a reserve.  And they are responsible for all the inflation since they were inadvisedly founded by Congress in 1913.   Read The Creature From Jekyll Island by Griffin and help us END THE FED.

And Gingrich has a record of betraying what he says in his campaigns.   He belongs to the internationalist Council on Foreign Relations -- a small group of elites who have been in presidential cabinets since Herbert Hoover.   They seek to undermine the Constitution.

We need someone who is neither of the above -- like RON PAUL. He has a proven record of voting as a Constitutionalist for decades.

Yea Don - Newt is probably a Bilderberger and a 9-11 truther as well.  A few other conspiracies come to mind but what the heck.  He sat on the bench with Nancy....

You know, I have some Conservative friends that say things like "You're really a member of the Tea party?"  and then I see your comments about 9-11 truther.  You got any more shibboleths to throw out?  How about birther?  Yeah, I'll wear all three labels proudly.  You might as well realized that there are plenty in the Tea Party who will not run from those labels, and we still support most of the things you do as Conservatives.  I wish it were the left who where the ones throwing out the shibboleths, but sadly we get it from fellow Conservatives.  If you want to marginalize us, it's you're choice, but when you do, you weaken the Conservative cause.

Thank you, I lost the book mark I had of that!  Now I have it again thanks to you.

Actually two can play at that game ........here's another 'liberal source' which prove

that one of his accusers (Biolek) works for the Obama administration.

So I have to ask you .... 'Are you really that gullible?"

Salivating...LOL Does everyone include you?

Gullible...again LOL

When disagreeing, mature adults are suppose to give sound reasons why this investigator and his machinery are faulty. Anyone including spoiled brats and bullies can start lobbing the sarcasm and attempts to humiliate others who may not agree with you.

Good day.

And I suppose Ann Coulter proving the association between Bialek & also the Chicago Restaurant Association to David Axelrod is supposed to be junk too?

We seem to be getting a bunch of them, Corey.

If a candidate is not a Bilderberger by the time he/she becomes president a new Bilderberger will be in the wings.

I think that the GOP or some liberal Republican is behind all this,it is some truth about this issue but nothing like the Bill Clinton issue. the truth is that they are afreid of Herman Cain and Ron Paul and the GOP and the Socialist Marxist Democrats will do any thing to destroy them. But if we are so stupid to buy their BS we can not blame them but us for being idiots that can not see their game and the charade they presented to us, to sell their candidate that they want in the Big House.
