Insanity in the ranks of the Republican Party.
If insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, it is official the Republican Party is insane. In fact, merely calling the Republicans insane is an understatement. How about totally freaking nuts? How about howling at the moon stupid? How about flat-lined, brain dead moronic?
What has the GOP done?
They did yet another debate with a liberal news channel, with nothing but liberal panelists.
The sound you heard was the sound of heads exploding all across the country. It is no wonder the GOP cannot get anywhere. The leadership of the Republican Party is too stupid to run a bridge club, much less a major political party.
Why do the Republican Party and the Republican candidates agree to these debates?
First, when you have George Stephanopoulos, the former communications director for Bill Clinton and long time Democratic Operative as one of the questioners, you can expect questions that are going to make the Republicans look bad.
Stephanopoulos repeatedly hit low points in the debate. He questioned Romney on what has to be the dumbest question ever asked in a debate. He asked a goofy hypothetical question about states banning contraception.
The question was so stupid that even Mitt Romney got the idea he was being baited. If that was not enough, then Stephanopoulos went into a tirade about gay marriage.
How many people watching the debate cared about gay marriage? The answer is exactly zero.
People watching the debate are interested in jobs, the economy and Iran. Gay marriage is not even registering on anyone’s radar. Why did Stephanopoulos bring it up? It is simple; it was the best gotcha he could come up with.
Stephanopoulos’ partners in crime were equally liberal Dianne Sawyer and a local host from the New Hampshire TV station.
Once again, those who have at least one or two functioning brain cells are left asking the question, why did the Republicans agree to this?
Republicans are not forced to agree to these debates but they do. The debates are great events, but as George Stephanopoulos noted at the beginning of the debate, the candidates agreed to this debate and its rules.
Why?
Why the hell are the Republicans so stupid?
Why do they let liberals run their debates?
All the Republican candidates have to do is get together and say no. These debates have been a gold mine for the networks and for the organizations that have sponsored them. The GOP can sponsor its own debates but have moderators who are conservatives.
There are many conservative media people who can be asked to act as the moderators or questioners for these debates. Why the Republicans do not insist on this is simply unbelievable.
Instead of debating the issues we need to debate, such as the economy, jobs, Afghanistan and Iran, a liberal wants to make the GOP talk about a fantasy subject like the idea a state would ban contraception.
When will the GOP grow up? When will they start understanding they can control these debates? When will they understand that the drive by media is not their friend?
We can only hope it is before they allow the media to give Barack Obama a second term.

We have been searching, desperately , for the best person "left" after the rejection of a few candidates ( Hermann Cain, Michelle Bachmann) also Sarah Palin not having support of the. GOP, therefore, not qualifying as. GOP candidate.
Now we are down to the top 3 being Romney, Paul, Gingrich and Santorum ( moving up going into the SouthCarolina Primary).
Reservations are apparent of Paul, Gingrich & Romney.
Is it a foregone conclusion that the candidate with the most money is the most viable GOP Candidate?
Romney belongs to the The Church of Latter Day Saints but he is rather "low key " about his Faith. The LDS are not as Conservative as they are Closer to Libertarian (because they do not trust Government). The LDS "take care of their" own. THEY HAVE ALWAYS HAD A PRACTICE OF "Sacrifice Can Goods for THE CHURCH like One can good each week to be stored in The LDS FOOD LOCKER ( in case any members of the church that need food can go to the church food locker). They also will give money to members, in need of help. Those that are Abke fir the privilege of going into the Cathedral in Salt Lake must be able to contribute greatly to the Church at Salt Lake City, UTAH.
The Mormons are very family oriented, which is a real serious tenant of their faith, but let there be no doubt that THE CATHOLIC CHURCH has nothing on "The Church Of Latter Day Saints". Very " tight knit group that have a great work ethic and a real dedication to their Church. This is similar to the "Orthodox Nature of the Jews" where their "Faith" is very much their family, government, social and fraternity fir life and very few "venture outside or marry outside of their Faith.
Evangelical Christians ( Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum, Glenn Beck, Tebow and others ) have gotten a bad rap for their "openess concerning their faith and question of their ability to be "objective" when it comes to government matching their Faith.
Muslims are "Radical About Their Faith" to the extent of killing "Non-Believers" and even to the extent to killing themselves to destroy Jews & Christians !
The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) wear their faith and radicalism as a badge of honor but Jewish Brotherhoods & Christan Brotherhoods are not as acceptable as Muslims (even in countries where the majority are Jews or Christians) USA, ISRAEL, GREAT BRITAIN.
We just need to understand that government does not have to be "ruled" by a particular religion but absence of "Faith" in Government is unrealistic and not desirable.

I agree with most of what you said, but one correction that stood out as I skimmed through your post. Glenn Beck is a Morman, not an Evangelical Christian. That is the main reason he is blasting Gingrich. I believe he is covertly supporting Romney. At least, I got that from his programs on GBTV. It's also why I quit watching GBTV.

Romney won the nomination 6 months ago or longer. He will get the womens vote because of his looks and the mens vote for his experience in business. He will get independents votes because he is a moderate, not a Conservative. The rest of the group splits up the Conservative vote, between the 3 other candidates, allowing a Moderate to win the nomination.
Once again we will not get a strong Conservative in the White House. Romney will go right to gain the nomination, then go middle to win the Presidency. He will govern towards the middle. No radical changes to the tax code or the government, status quo will still have an inefficient and unaccountable government.
We need to gain Congress, remove progressives and RINOs in power. Make sure Piglosi and Reid have no power. Elect fiscal Conservatives to the House and Senate, remove the garbage including Bone Head and McCavin those who go along to get along. Time to retire RINOS, those who negotiate, tolerate and are buddies of immoral progressives.

I am inclined to agree. I have had this gut feeling for a long time. Months ago I stated that we need to go after the Senate and the House and stuff them with strong conservatives. We may be able to turn this thing around with even a moderate president, but all elections are local. We need Conservatives in the House, Senate and the Supreme Court and we need them now. We have to make it uncomfortable for Moderates to even think of running for office as a Republican.

We need to clean out the corrupt School Boards, City, County, State and Federal government personel yesterday. School Boards are in bed with Unions, #1 priority is teachers salaries, perks and benefits, not educating children. Its a inefficient big government system, unaccountable to We the People. They dont care what parents think or want for their children.
They are paid for and bought by the powerful teachers unions who give them bribes to serve them. No one stands up to them, just ignores the corruption. Our local, state and federal government work the same way. The special interest group buy off the Politicians. They are given campaign money to gain reelected and also given bribes, yes bribes. They are invited to parties, given paid for vacations, free sporting tickets, etc. Bribes are legal because no one checks, no one cares. So politicians are bribed to help special interests.
As long as politicians can and will be bribed, we are done. That is why lawyers become politicians, they fit right in. Being dishonest is rewarded, from one profession to another.
Moderate in government are spineless. They want to compromise and negotiate with evil, with immoral politicians who want 100% or nothing. Meeting in the middle is immoral because wrong is wrong 100% of the time. There is no negotiations or tolerance when it comes to a wrong. We need Politicians not to negotiate with evil. We need them to stand strong, do the right thing, represent We the People. Today, they support the highest contributor to the campaign, not We the People. This must change to have an ethical and efficient Government. As long as we have politicians that go along to get along, nothing will ever change. We need someone with backbone who will kick some A....., not PC, someone that will not negotiate with evil, will destroy evil, remove evil from power.
