Count Me In

I was wrong about Herman Cain.

I said originally that Cain could stay on message better than almost any other candidate.  His 9-9-9 plan was all he would talk about and I attributed that to good messaging on his part.

I was wrong.

It is not messaging.  Cain cannot talk about anything else.

Tonight there is a video from the Journal Sentinel online that show an interview with Herman Cain.  Forget the sexual harassment allegations.  Forget Mark Block’s gross incompetence.  Herman Cain needs to leave the race because he is not qualified to be President.

The video is painful to watch.  It is obvious Cain is in over his head and simply clueless.

And this man wants to be the Commander in Chief making decisions?

Candidates have something called briefing books. These are prepared by staffers and contain, among other things, topics candidates are expected to have at least a passing knowledge of.   Cain may not be expected to know the name of the President of Montenegro or the Prime Minister of Moldavia, but Libya is a question that will obviously come up

Watching Herman Cain stumble around looking for an answer is beyond painful.  He looks to the ceiling, desperately seeking an answer.  He responds in vague talking points.

Unfortunately for Herman Cain, Ron Paul was not there to throw him a lifeline.

What this shows more than anything is a stunning lack of preparation by not only the campaign staff, but by Herman Cain.  This was not even a semi obscure question like what should American policy be towards Sri Lanka.

In the debate last Saturday night, Herman Cain’s foreign policy philosophy seemed to be, ‘I’ll surround my self with people who have a clue because I do not.’

Earth to Herman Cain.  You cannot subcontract out the duties of President.

This is not deciding whether you will sign a ceremonial proclamation for national railroad month.

Newt Gingrich would have had no problem with this.  Neither would Michele Bachman, or Ron Paul or Rick Santorum or even Mitt Romney or Jon Huntsman.

Herman Cain has some very dedicated supporters.  A few days ago, when I came out saying he should leave the race, they expressed their displeasure towards me in no uncertain terms.

To the Cain supporters, I simply say watch this video and ask yourself, “Is this the man you want answering the red phone in the White House at 3 AM?”

You can watch the video here.

As I have told others I won't sweat this. None of the candidates have a clear answer to this question. Not even the state dept. can answer this bubbling action by Obama. Cain is not a machine. They all have made mistakes throughout this campaign. No one is going to be perfect every single time that have interviews.

Even Paul has made mistakes, more then others, but no one points that out.

We need to stay focused on the biggest mistake this country has made in 2 decades, and that is Obama.

AGREED!    AND WHAT ABOUT THE MISTAKES MADE BY THE MEDIA IN NOT INVESTIGATING OBAMA AND HIS BACKGROUND BETTER, NOT FINDING OUT ABOUT HIS TRUE INTENTIONS, (OBVIOUS NOW THAT HE'S RUN THE COUNTRY INTO THE GROUND).  WHY ARE WE NOT ATTACKING THE MEDIA THE IMPEACHABLE PRESIDENT, THAT NO ONE IN CONGRESS HAS ATTEMPTED TO IMPEACH.

HE IS SUPPOSED TO 'EXECUTE' THE LAWS OF THE LAND, AND FLOUNTS THEM, USING 'EXECUTIVE ORDERS'  TO BYPASS THOSE VERY LAWS.  HOW COME NO ONE IS CONCENTRATING ON THE OBVIOUS OF THIS TREACHEROUS PRESIDENT.

Will never happen Ann:

When the president takes the oath of office he is swearing to defend the Constitution of the District of Columbia, the INCORPORATED government. He isn’t promising to preserve, protect and defend the original Pennsylvania Constitution of 1776. See for yourself – “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” It doesn’t state – “Constitution for the United States of America” which was drafted for “We the People of the United States”.

It is for this reason that Obama never got a declaration of war from Congress for Libya. He didn’t need one. Under the corporation constitution, the Constitution of the United States, Obama is the CEO and master of his corporate domain called the United States. His loyalty is to the District of Columbia, an INCORPORATED government which is financially controlled by London and their Federal Reserve bankers, which is controlled by the Vatican. Obama is president of corporate America – looking out for its corporate interests.

I've seen this numerous times.  That Washington DC is a corporation, that we are collateral, blah blah.   The incorporation of Washington DC was not usurp powers of the states but to allow the CITY of Washington DC to operate as any other municipality.  To allow it to enter into contracts for things such as garbage removal, equipment leases, to negotiate contracts with its employees and unions.   Where ever you live you probably have the same structure.  It is the only way a muncipality can transact business.

There are numerous violation of our constitution made by Obama and his party and and they gets a free pass every time. Problem is he can be impeached in the house but won't be prosecuted in the Senate, and thats really sad! BUT I believe that in 2012, Americans will impeach him at the polls.

Mark: the constitution is an out dated pesky document that simply cannot be in President Diaperman's way.

Nor can it be in DOJ Holder's way --  who is not our DOJ, (http://weaselzippers.us/2011/03/01/eric-holder-focus-on-black-panth...)

Now, let's see if the SCOTUS agree with the whitehouse pantload when they rule on hellcare or if they follow the constitution.

el cid. we have been attacking obama since tea party nation's inception. most of us do not want romney or perry. ginrich has risen to pass romney in some polls and has been great in all the debates.

Here,Here Mark. truer words were never spoken. I dont believe the establishment will give us the chance to vote on Herman. They want to give us romney. They would settle for perry as he too is a progressive. However all of this is worthless as we must unite under your stated purpose. Removing obama even if we must elect your dog!

They can keep Romney and Perry, Charles, We make the decision, right? :)
