Imagine for the moment that I wrote this on a column on Tea Party Nation:
I have an idea. Let’s let Michael Vick keep Chelsea Clinton as a pet instead of a dog. It will be safer for the dog and maybe we will get the satisfaction of having Vick electrocute Chelsea. You know, after more than 30 seconds with Chelsea, Vick will be lunging for the cattle prod.
Vick gets a pet to torture and we get rid of Chelsea. A win-win for everyone.
Next, imagine what the reaction would be. The liberals would come unglued. There would be calls for my prosecution. There would be calls that this website be shut down and who knows what else.
The funny thing is, something very similar to this happened last Friday. Only, instead of Chelsea Clinton being named as the pet to be for Michael Vick, it was Sarah Palin. On Salon.Com, someone posted a letter to the editor, using the pseudonym of Owen Meany, a character from a John Irving novel.
Here is what was said on Salon.com.
(Screen grab courtesy Pronlinenews.com)
As of this evening, Salon.com had finally deleted this post, though an Internet search for Owen Meany looks like he still has his account at Salon.com.
There is, of course, not a peep of outrage about Owen Meany on Salon. Can you imagine if a Tea Party member had said something like that about a liberal? It would be all over the Internet. Heck, stuff Tea Party members do not say ends up on liberal websites, regardless.
Meany is clearly a frustrated, disturbed individual. His letters on Salon.com are obscenity filled tirades. My question is, after this, why is he still a member on Salon.com? Why is he still allowed to post? Why has Salon.com not posted an apology for this outrage?
If you have ever had the misfortune of reading Salon.com, it is clearly a violation of your Eighth Amendment rights against cruel and unusual punishments. And if you have ever had the misfortune of reading Salon.com, you know the answer to all of those questions.

The more hateful and visous they get in trying to ridicule and destroy Palin - the more fear you can smell in the air. That's right. These Liberal Progressives fear Sarah Palin - and it's getting quite a lot of press. We're seeing NOW and other organizations running for cover when being asked why they stand for Palin being treated this way. They want their cake and eat it too. All of the Left's alledged Womens Rights Groups are showing their true Marxist leanings but joining in on the anti Palin frenzy. aka - showing their asses. Palin MUST be president - it'll send them all surrying for the shadows as she first does a line by line budget deletion - then voids special rules for politicians pay. Oh goodness - what the right person could do about corruption in Washington DC!! The more I see they fear her - the more convinced I am she's the one!!

Permalink Reply by Shamus Jackson on December 23, 2010 at 6:58am Which is worse voting for Sarah Palin, or Barack Hussein Obama. Mr. Obama was a Illinois Senator and more than 50% of the time he did not even vote. He is Elected U.S. Senator and all he did was use his time to Campaign for President, unless the Dumbocrats needed his vote to pass another bill. How much experience 0% does he have. I'll stick with Mrs Palin any day versus Obama. I refuse to call that Socialist President. As I don't want to be part of losing my my country to Socialist nation. Where is the birth Certificate. He doesn't have one. How about using a Social Security card that was issued way before he was born. This social security card should have been put in the dead letter file. The man died in 1908.

Permalink Reply by Shirley Eliakis on December 21, 2010 at 10:57pm John, the "conservative movement" was given a shot in the arm by Sarah Palin an a ew othes who dared to challenge the "good ol' boys" in big government. before Sarah the last big impression we conservatives had was Ronald Reagan....that's a few years! Faux has been in bed with Washington DC for well over a century. The big difference today is that we are meeting in our groups, talking, taking action. We woke up an finally realized what a precious gift our God-given freedoms are, and how fortunate we are to live in a country founded on truth and the bravery to defend those truths from all enemies, foreign and domestic.
The name-calling smacks of liberalism. At times our hackles may get raised arond re, but we use much restraint fo all that is piled on our plates. I don't believe in fault-fnding or "finger pointing amongst allies. To divide is a strategy often attempted by the ENEMY---and you can put that label on the fools who don't believe that the end of the story is true, along with those who wear clever disguises.
A fool is a fool, is a fool...
Permalink Reply by Fran on December 21, 2010 at 11:03pm They fear her because they know if she were elected President, she would do what's right for this country. She would have the intestinal fortitude to tell the special interest groups to take a hike and then we will once again be the country our forefathers envisioned for us. Who knows, maybe the left wing idiot would pack up and head for parts unknown and if that were to happen, I would say, good ridance to bad rubbish.

I'll probably be giggling tomorrow when I get to practice civility with the exercise of great restraint...so they will undoubtely think me crazy because they will not have a clue about the image playin' around me ol' cranium!
