How we win

There is nothing new under the sun or in politics.  We should steal a good idea as often as we can.   As we go into 2012, we are going to have to fight.  We face the hard left, that has more money than we do and they are very well organized. 

What do we do?

Never underestimate the ability of the left to get the vote out.  When there are elections, they get live people to the polls, they get dead people to the polls, they get people who do not exist to the polls.

We must make sure that we do better than the left.

The battle of 2012 is beginning now.  In a few weeks the debt reduction super committee is going to release its report and Obama, Pelosi and Reid want a massive tax hike.   We are going to have to get the Tea Party out in the streets like we did in 2009.

We need to steal a good idea that works.  We have an idea.

In 2010, Rick Perry was the underdog in his race for reelection.  He faced an opponent with excellent organization and more money than he did.  Dave Carney, who ran the Perry campaign had a great idea.   He assembled almost 100,000 Perry supporters  and  got each of them to commit to getting 12 new voters to vote for Perry and they would do what ever it took to get those voters to the polls.

When Republicans try to get new voters, they have to find live people, who are eligible to vote and are only going to vote once.  Its much easier for Democrats who don't have any of those restrictions.

Perry's team got the voters out and Perry won reelection.

This is the plan we need to follow.  For everyone who is in the Tea Party, we need to act.  Everyone who is a member of Tea Party Nation needs to come up with a list of ten people who support the Tea Party and do two things.  First invite them to join Tea Party Nation.  Second, get them to go to your local Tea Party group.

Everyone can find ten people.  Go to your family, your friends, your neighbors or even to your enemies.  It does not matter.  As long as they support the Tea Party, that is all that matters.

Getting them involved is very simple.  Ask them!  Ask them to join Tea Party Nation and ask them to go to a Tea Party meeting with you.  It is easy.  People want to say yes.  Ask them and then make sure the follow through.

This upcoming election is too important. 

We are in the fight of our lifetimes.  What could your Tea Party group do if every member brought ten new people to the group?  What could we do at Tea Party Nation if everyone brought ten new people to the site? 

Calling people may be outside of your comfort zone, but socialism is outside of my comfort zone.   Tyranny is outside of my comfort zone.  Losing our freedom is outside of my comfort zone.

We must be prepared to go to the streets to protest and stop the massive tax hike the  Obama, Pelosi, Reid axis of fiscal evil wants to impose on us.  We must go out and bring people back into the movement. 

There are more of us than there are of them.  We just have to get everyone involved and we have to start now.

Most of this country identifies themselves as conservative. This should be easy.
