Permalink Reply by Elizabeth Shea on I believe that Americans won't rise up until things are much worse than they are now. They still have that teeny-tiny bit of "hope" that the election will save the day. It won't, of course.
Once, they realize that things are not going to get better, they probably will be ready to take some action. It will probably be too late by then for any kind of peaceful resolution. So we will have to stock up on supplies now, since they may withhold truck deliveries in order to starve us out.
If Washington's ragtag militia had the courage and resolution to keep fighting Gen. Cornwallis' mighty British army, surely we can keep fighting until we drive the enemy out of the U.S. Some of us won't survive but that cannot be helped. Our Constitutional Republic must go on and our rule of law must return.
