Gov. Perry Defends the Death Penalty!

If you missed the GOP Debate last night, you missed one of the greatest highlights of the night when Gov. Perry answered Brian Williams' elitest liberal question regarding the number of executions that have been carried out in Texas during his term. You can see that Williams is flustered when the crowd breaks out in applause.  I myself cheered here at home.

Many on the left are horrified by the death penalty and want to see it abolished. You can tell by the reaction of Brian Williams that he expected others to be appalled as well and was astonished that at the crowds enthusiastic cheers.

Now, if this had been a liberal audience and the question had been to a liberal governor regarding how many abortions had been performed during his term, you would have probably seen the same reaction from the progressives.

I have never understood the Democrats aversion to the death penalty when it is applied to those who have undoubtedly committed the most heinous of crimes, yet they will vigorously defend the taking of innocent human life in the form of abortion.

It makes no sense to me.  Here is the video in case you missed it.

With Gov.Perry on this too...you commit a heinous crime on us you face the consequences.
Yup. Being evil is a choice. Don't cry when you have to pay the price.
When the death penalty is enforced, there can be no repeat offenders.
I agree with him on this one. I also think this should apply to anyone and this includes police officers who abuse and kill innocent citizens.
The reporter was probably referring to the case of Cameron Willingham (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cameron_Todd_Willingham#Appeals.2C_inc...). He was sentenced to death and executed for murdering his children by arson. Perry allowed it to go ahead, despite a report landing on his desk saying there was no evidence of arson. He also obstructed a later investigation after the execution by removing three committee members in the days before they were due to testify.
Americans are tired of being ripped off, raped, kidnapped, and murdered by those who just want to "take", and those who don't want to work to earn it on their own.  If we would carry out the sentences more swiftly, there would not be such chaos in our land (Ecc. 8:11 in the Bible)
What does the bible have to do with this? Nothing!!!
The bible should have nothing to do with public policy. If you want it to help you make personal decisions then go for it.

The Bible is the word of GOD.  The fulfilled prophecy of the old testament that can be verified proves that point.  The Bible has everything to do with it.

It's a religious belief system in a sea of religious belief systems.

If you want a theocracy, spend time in the Middle East to see just how well they work out.

Would you want another religion to dictate policy decisions that effect you?

AMEN to that!
