Friday at CPAC promises to be a very interesting day. Three Presidential candidates running through the halls plus the threats from the occu-tards are making today interesting.
What else is going on today?
Perhaps the most interesting speech will be from WND CEO Joseph Farah. He will be introducing his “No more red ink” campaign to stop deficit spending.
The “No more red ink” campaign is actually a plan, which is more than can be said for almost anything else that is coming out of Washington. In 2010, we sent people to Washington who were “Tea Party freshmen.” They were supposed to cut spending.
John Boehner and the RINO’s struck back and spending actually went up last year. Spending approved by the Republican House of Representatives was 3% higher than it was when Nancy Pelosi was Speaker.
What is wrong with this picture?
Speaking of wrong pictures, Gannett was reporting on CPAC and actually put this it a story.
The unnamed Gannett writer wrote: “If Mitt Romney needs some good news in an otherwise lousy week, he might find it in an improbable place: the packed hallways of the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington.
Interviews with nearly two dozen attendees Thursday found virtually no passion for the former Massachusetts governor, widely seen as insufficiently conservative for activists on the right. Not a single person, however, said he or she would not support Romney if he seems best-positioned to beat President Barack Obama in November.”
Do they think before they write this stuff? Are they so totally clueless that they do not get it? Were they sober when they wrote this?
Here is a clue to Gannett. Most conservatives will vote for an empty Starbuck’s coffee cup before they vote for Obama. In fact most would probably cut their right arm off before they vote for Obama.
CPAC brings together amazing conservatives. Unfortunately not all here are conservatives. RINO Mitch McConnell spoke yesterday. Mitt Romney will be here today making his obligatory stop to acknowledge the conservatives he ignores and the conservative movement he is not a part of.
The good news from CPAC is that some of the people like Jim DeMint and others are saying what is the obvious. Conservatives to not need to have compromise as an objective. We need to win.
If Conservatives act like conservatives, we win. Conservatives need to have the idea that we should win, not compromise.
Hopefully the word will spread from CPAC.
UPDATE: Wireless crashed yesterday at CPAC. I have a number of great videos but with wireless problems, uploading them was impossible. If the problems are fixed today, there will be more, including interviews with conservatives you need to know about and a great interview with Congressman JC Watts.
Hi Judson, here also is the link for everyone to watch CPAC live on the internet as it unfolds today. I believe they are also broadcasting on the C-Span network on television.
Rick Santorum will be speaking live at 10:25AM today! : )
Thanks for the link, American Infidel.
I just sent out the following email message to see if I could rattle some cages. Copying here in case any of you active troops want to set me straight.
Looks like the CPAC website has been hacked or otherwise compromised. The live broadcast was up earlier this morning and is now down. This is what the Occupy criminals promised they would do. They promised to disrupt CPAC, and it looks like they might be succeeding at the moment. Prayers are needed!
We can try this link instead:
Update: CPAC link above (in the very first comment on this discussion) is now up and running again. I watched Rick Santorum's speech on it a little while ago.
You found Farah's “No more red ink” to have perhaps the most interesting speech of the day, Judson.
For all of the people that want to know how a president can or cannot be elected honestly,Go to the e-mail address.
I have done the research on this and scary as it is it is true,
Think who ever heard of Barack Obama before election? I can't for the life of me will I ever understand people putting some one to run OUR country and NEVER check them out. For those to lazy to do thios PLEASE stay away from the poles on election day.See where stupid got the mess our country is in.Shame on you.
Now here is an address you can go to ,hopr this will help you not to repeat your mistake again. THIWS is VERRY important,
I checkes this out soon as all canidates names went on the ballot, and found this to be TRUE, I pronise.
Now you will see how Barack got into office. Please mbefore they take if off.
Its not showing up.
The address has a typo-should be http://, however, the video has been taken down.
Would you check the URL address for accuracy? Hope they havn't taken it off.
Romney's message about his father;s honeymoon and selling paint is really nice. Reality is, we're not in a position to choose his dad. I had an ultraconservative father. He taught all 5 of us kids as best he could. My 4 siblings turned out left leaning. Do I make a good point?
Lastly, Romney will do to us in 2012 what Ford/Carter did in '76/
Look forward to any video if it's possible.
Mitch McConnell needs to go. Hope KY comes to it's senses (like when they elected Rand Paul) and kick him out of there.
Dragging and kicking I will vote for Romney over Obama.
Thanks for the link American Infidel.
