My friends,

The recent Nevada results have me very concerned. Is our movement loosing steam? It looks like Romney has the economic advantage over reason.

I know many of us got a little irate when our revolution was compared to the Occupy movement. I was proud of the comparison. Even though we are on both sides of the political spectrum, I respect many of the original Occupy Wall Streeters for taking a stand. Then slime and undesirables contaminated their protest just like racism and hate contaminated our once pure resolve. Many of us have the same passion that made 2010 an historic event but we have become too heavy with the burden of our own growth.

There is even a group that split from our group called, get this, TEA PARTY FOR OBAMA. If any of you remember Johnny Macintosh, who I think was a member, has gone over as well as all of Wes Arnold’s “Boots for Bachmann” group. This is insane but not totally unbelievable. I went to check out the website and there it is, our original vision but with a revised clarity that, gag, Obama is better than any of the current Republican lineup. Recent polls suggest that Americans' opinion of the hardline conservative movement has soured as they've learned more about it. Even the Drudge Report noted how the tide has began to turn for the Tea Party Movement.

With the absence of Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Chris Christie and other champions of out movement we can only expect severe fracking of the entire movement. Even the almighty Tea Party Express is showing signs of disorganization. Amy Kremer’s group has once again asked their shrinking base to dump money into Wisconsin’s lost Governorship despite the calls for a more national focus. The Tea Party Express was criticized by many in the organization for spending obscene amounts of money in last years special recall elections that resulted in two minutes of press coverage and defeat or near defeat for many incumbent Republicans. It was argued that there are bigger fish to fry and money is not unlimited.

If there is conservative bedrock in this nation, it's here. But we really need to shore up our edges and somehow pull together.

Gingrich denounces Romney and pleaded with the conventioneers in South Carolina to come together behind "a real conservative" — him.

Rick Santorum, the fundamentalist candidate, made a similar pitch, asking us Tea Partiers: "Are we going to vote for somebody who can win, or for someone who is the right person for the office?"

We here we are asking ourselves that same question.

I think it is a problem that we will never appeal to the broader American demographic. And that picture is becoming more defined with every Tea Party for Obama website that pops up. There are some trends here my friends that we cannot ignore and hope our chosen candidates will somehow make disappear. The Hispanic vote will not go away. It will only grow and if we don’t expand our message to include them then they will exclude us. Right wing Christian conservative values do not appeal to most Americans. Is it possible to give them a ramp or an opening in the wall?

As I look around in our meetings, the demographic in which our values appeal is old and dying, and their’s is not the future of this country. I think some now realize that and deeply resent and hate this fact. Could it be that we were screaming so loud we lost our voice?

SARAH PALIN IS THE REAL DEAL, we know that MARC. she did not run so all we hv is those who are running at present. and we are a minority in the political sense. there are more MODERATE CONSERVATIVES out there than CONSERVATIVES as we are. we really cannot afford to fracture at any point. I AM NOT FOR ROMNEY!!!!!!!!. I still believe NEWT is a good choice. the other two not so much. conservatives must unite if we are to WIN.

Many of us are stuck in a position of eventually supporting someone we don't like because he is running against someone we really don't like. It's too bad that running for President is so expensive, so demanding, so humiliating, so transforming. In a country of 300 million and we have a choice of 4!  It doesn't make sense.

QUERY MARK, running for POTUS is not for everyone. would you want all ur BAGGAGE all over the media. ur whole life's story on every web site PRO and CON. and the expense, demanding interviews, debates. press critics on ur debate performance. MARK I know I would not want to be in that FISH BOWL. yes I agree we should hv more good candidates. however we do not. I wish SARAH would hv thrown her hat in the race but I clearly understand why SHE DID NOT.
