Are you ready for four more years of Barack Obama and the Party of Treason in charge of the White House? If not, you need to get ready. We are only one step away from that and there is only one thing we can do to stop it.
What is it?
If you are in Illinois tomorrow, vote for Newt Gingrich.
Some folks are going, oh no not again. Some others are asking, “didn’t you get the memo. Gingrich cannot win.”
You are right. Newt cannot win. He is all but mathematically eliminated in the delegate race. Even Newt knows this.
Newt’s strategy is now simple. Deny Romney the nomination.
This needs to be the strategy of the conservative movement. We need to deny Romney the nomination by getting as many conservatives picked as Delegates for the Republican Convention in Tampa this August.
If Romney is nominated, Obama will almost certainly win. Romney can only win in areas where he massively outspends his opponents. He won’t be able to outspend Obama. His best-case scenario is close to parity. More than likely Obama will be able to out spend him significantly.
Plus Obama will have an energized base. Conservatives will be out there voting for Romney but we won’t be out there doing the boots on the groundwork that has to be done.
Romney is a disaster for the GOP and the sooner we embrace the idea of an open convention that denies Romney the nomination, the better off we are.
Who can come out of the Convention as a nominee? If we get enough conservatives as delegates we have a chance for someone who can excite the base and win. I still believe Newt Gingrich is the best candidate out there, but if he has not been able to close the deal in the primary, the chances of him being chosen by a deadlocked convention are remote.
We need someone who will take Newt’s ideas forward. Unlike Romney, Newt is talking about $2.50 a gallon gas. That’s something that looks pretty good as we head into the third summer of the Great Obama Depression and gas prices spike towards $5 a gallon. Newt is talking about cutting taxes. Romney is simply talking about managing big government.
Who could we get as a nominee? Certainly not a Bush nor a northeastern liberal like Chris Christie.
Paul Ryan’s name has popped up some in the discussions. He would be a good choice or perhaps we could get the convention to go really outside of the box and get someone we are not even thinking of.
The RINOs are screaming about how a brokered convention would be a disaster. A disaster for who? The establishment? Certainly, it would be a disaster for them. For rank and file Republicans and for real Americans, a brokered convention offers the opportunity for a conservative candidate to emerge.
Who is our next Reagan?
It certainly is not liberal Mitt Romney.
We need to start looking for him or her and we need to keep fighting to make certain Mitt Romney does not win the nomination.
The best way we can stop Romney is by getting our friends and family to vote for Newt. If you are in Illinois, help save America. In the GOP primary tomorrow, vote for Newt!
I agree and say we try everything in the book to beat obama. There is no way Romney can beat obama.

Permalink Reply by William Homolka on March 19, 2012 at 9:38pm Thomas, you're the only one who is thinking clearly here. Obama MUST be removed before November 6th. The point to hammer home is his ineligibility and his fraudulent birth certificate. Smear the sucker!!
Permalink Reply by Doug Nicholson on March 19, 2012 at 11:02pm The easiest way to prove Odumbo's ineligibility is to attack him on the grounds that his father was a British citizen and never a U.S. citizen. The SCOTUS itself, in Minor vs. Happersett, defined a NBC as one born to "parents" (note the plural) of U.S. citizens in territory controlled by the U.S.
The real problem is finding a judge with the testicular fortitude to hear the case. The GA judge who did hear a case on this point didn't have the b***s to rule properly, even though neither Odumbo nor his reps appeared in response to the subpoena and should have lost the case by default.
Permalink Reply by Jeff Waller on March 20, 2012 at 10:15am Again, the issue cannot be the birth certificate. The questions are far too technical for people to understand. They think it's all smoke and mirrors on our part. We MUST concentrate on the fact that daddy was a Kenyan! Even my 91-year old, computer-illiterate mama can understand that. Arpaio, if he can make his case, is doing the right thing, but that's for him to do...not us!
Permalink Reply by Steve Johnson on March 19, 2012 at 11:15am Better Romney than Santorum. Romney has at least a chance in the general election. Santorum has Zero.

Permalink Reply by Caleb White on March 19, 2012 at 11:28am Yeah, I like Santorum, but he's starting to wear on me a bit now with some of his social issues he is trying to push now instead of waiting till after the nomination or after the General. I think he's starting to rub people the wrong way.

Permalink Reply by Caleb White on March 19, 2012 at 11:35am I totally agree, they would be a great ticket.
Permalink Reply by dave g bennett on March 19, 2012 at 11:11am I have now labeled YOU as my enemy. You get the platform, so my comments will get zero play, but like many other occassions, YOU are WRONG and you do not speak for my Tea Party! Romney can beat Obama, Santorin cannot. I will take a Romney WIN versus and Santorin loss anyday. If Newt could win, I would vote for him, but that isn't going to happen. YOU, Mr.Tea Party are worse than Obama in terms of dividing us. STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
