In case you have not heard about this story, a group of so-called “important gay people” went to the White House for the first ever Gay Pride reception at the White House.
What happened next, if you have not heard about it, will shock you, appall you and make you realize what we are up against.
What happened?
They “important gay people” decided to show their respect for the symbol of American government by going to the portrait of Ronald Reagan and flipping it off.
That’s right, they gave the 40th President the middle finger. They took photos of it and those photos have gone viral.
Two lesbians decided to mark the occasion by making out under the portrait of Reagan.
We conservatives are told that we must be respectful of the other side, yet this is how the other side reactions. Where is the respect the left has for conservatives? Please someone tell me.
Many conservatives refuse to use the title President when they refer to Barack Obama. We are told many times we must respect him and he is, “our” President.
If Obama is “our” President, so was Reagan.
None of that matters to the left.
The left has no respect for America, its institutions or anyone who dares disagree with the left.
We must understand this.
We are not simply in a policy disagreement with people who hold a different view. We are in a fight with people who want to destroy freedom and liberty. We are in a fight with people who believe their view is the only one that should be allowed to be heard on the airwaves or over the Internet.
These are people who are very much in tune with their cousins who ran the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, Communist China, Eastern Europe, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Cuba and Venezuela.
We must understand that our opponents are not like some of the nice liberals who show up on Fox News. Our opponents are people like convicted bomber Brett Kimberlin. Our opponents are willing to use any tool at their disposal to silence us.
The left sees that it is losing the election this year. The House is going to stay Republican, the Senate is going to go Republican and it is highly likely that Mitt Romney is going to be the 45th President of the United States.
If there is one thing the left cannot stand it is for it to lose power.
They want power. They want to transform America into something unrecognizable, where freedom and liberty are simply things of the past. They want to change America whether we want it or not.
This is what we stand up against.
We must all stand against it or soon we will see the end of freedom and liberty in this great nation.

If these are our men and women serving in the military then we are doomed. I always thought all military members had respect for all American's. Please tell me it ain't so. Annie

Free political expression: Grade: A
Keeping it Klassy: Grade: D
At least they aren't hiding the fundamentally adolescent nature of liberalism. That's out of the closet, too!!
And I have to add, it's such an improvement over throwing buckets of blood on women, pooping on police cars, etc.. Sorry, am I just exhausted by it all?
Permalink Reply by Guy on June 22, 2012 at 5:00pm Which is exactly what they want. Their goal is to keep in in our face till we just give in. I for one will not give in and I pray you won't either. We MUST make a stand for values, Christian or otherwise, so long as they are virtuous and kind. Sights like this disgust us, but we cannot just sit back and give them what they want.
As for your grades, I cannot accept that the freedom of speech our forefathers intended encompassed such crude behavior, so as for political expression they should get no score. To express ones self politically, one must express a valid political viewpoint. Simply gesturing offensively is not a valid political expression.
Since the expressions are totally without class, I would have given them an F, but of course that is expected since I have moral conservative values.

I think we all know that this is not about republicans or democrats. This is about light versus darkness. This is about good verses evil. People who would do such a thing as this are people we should feel very sorry for. They are people whose lives are meaningless, empty, void and without direction or meaning. They have chosen to become blind in their lustful search for sensual pleasure, which will never fill that void in their heart. They are far away from God, from hope and all they can do is try to insult others who have found that hope that love that feeling that knowing the One True God through his son Jesus Christ can bring. We today are facing not a polictical problem but much deeper a "DEATH" problem. People who have chosen death over life and darkness over light. Very sad. God help us.

We really do have to feel sorry for these people. They are of all people most hopeless. If they only knew the truth it would set them free. They are looking for "freedom" in all the wrong places and that is truly a hopless place to be without Jesus in your life.
Permalink Reply by Dennis Millner on June 22, 2012 at 3:03pm Joseph- I think we all do too much tearing down and name calling. And I've been just as wrong as anyone else. I used to call President Bush "Dubya", the same way I hear people call President Obama "Obammy" and such. Whether you agree with them or not, the job demands a certain level of respect.
Permalink Reply by Kate Bowe on June 22, 2012 at 10:11pm No it does not demand a certain level of respect. Respect is earned. This man in office is there to destroy us. He is not representing the American people, therefore he does NOT deserve any respect at all.
He is an abomination to the creator that made him, he is a mockery of what is right and decent.
You are wrong! He has shamed the office and title he holds and deserves to be kicked out and shamed. He is a disgrace. Would you think that Satan deserves respect as the prince of this world?
He would never get respect from me. He is trashing this country.
Yes I do pity them. They will surely realize they made a grave mistake at a later date, as every knee will bow and they will know He is King. That is sad. But respect? No Way.
