The 2012 elections are twenty-two months away.  That is an eternity in politics and it will be here before we know it.   Those who are running for reelection 2012 are already running and those who are going to oppose them need to be getting ready to run.

As we look at 2012, there are five RINO Senators the Tea Party needs to send into retirement.

Richard Lugar.   Lugar has been a pork king for a long time.  Recently he voted against the earmark ban, which even Evan Bayh, a liberal Democrat supported.   He voted for the Dream Act and the Start treaty.  He has been out of touch with reality for some time, dreams of bipartisanship, which is a nice way of saying he will continue to reach across the aisle and give the liberals what ever they want.

Orin Hatch.  Hatch is a long time RINO.  He has also been a pork king over the years.  Perhaps his worst offense is that he was a con-sponsor of the DREAM act.   He supports the Ground Zero victory mosque and he repeatedly warned the Tea Party movement not to split the Republican vote.  Translation:  Tea Party don’t you dare run anyone against me.   The Tea Party should give Hatch just what he does not want.  An opponent and the people of Utah a good conservative alternative.

Olympia Snow.  What can you say about one half of the infamous sell out sisters?   Snowe votes like the liberal she is.  She voted for Obamacare.  She voted for Start, She voted for the porkulus bill.  She voted for Start and to repeal Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.   In fact, it is hard to find a conservative bill she supported or a liberal one she did not.   The good news, her polling numbers do not look good and almost 60% of Maine voters say the would welcome a conservative challenger against Snowe.

Scott Brown.   Scott Brown has got to be the biggest disappointment of the last year.   When he was elected, some in the movement started calling him the second coming of Ronald Reagan.   He came in as the 41st vote and broke the Democrats filibuster proof majority.   He did as he promised and voted against Obamacare, but has been a huge disappointment otherwise.  He has frequently crossed the aisle to support the left.   He has forgotten that if it were not for the Tea Party coming in with money bombs and volunteers, he would simply be an obscure, former state senator, practicing law in the Bay State.

Bob Corker.  Because Tea Party Nation is based in Tennessee, “Bailout Bob” Corker is our top target.   Corker has done many things to sell out the conservative Tennesseans who put him in office.  Perhaps the worst is Dodd-Frank finance reform bill.  Chris Dodd and Barney Frank were probably the two people most responsible for the melt down in the real estate market.  They proposed a financial reform bill that was dead until Bailout Bob single handedly resurrected the bill.   Corker sold out on the START treaty in exchange for pork dollars going to the Oak Ridge Nuclear facility.    The real tragedy of Corker is that in 2006, two solid conservatives ran in the primary, but they split the conservative vote, allowing RINO Corker to slide in.

The good news for 2012 is that so many liberals are up for reelection, Republicans are guaranteed control of the Senate and we do not have to pinch our noses this time and support a RINO to prevent liberal control of the Senate.

2012 will be a very good year for the Tea Party movement and RINO is on the menu!

Absolutely Dr. Carpenter.  We need to discourage "Third Party" talk at every opportunity.  Taking over the Republican Party through massive grassroots based activism, attrition or any other stealth means will gain the most ground in the quickest way.  We do not need to fight the battle of "Third Party" splits and allowing RINO's to stay in the mix.

WHEN YOU DIVE INTO LOCAL POLITICS, EXPECT TO GET YOURSELF DIRTY.  THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS CORRUPT FROM THE COUNTY ALL THE WAY TO WASHINGTON D. C.  I RAN FOR MY PRECINCT POSITION LAST TIME AND WON.  HOWEVER WE ONLY HAD THREE CONSERVATIVES WIN SO WE HAD NO EFFECT ON THE PARTY, EXCEPT TO MAKE A LOT OF PEOPLE MAD.  YOU NEED TO CONVINCE YOUR LOCAL TEA PARTIES TO RUN AND SUPPORT LOCAL PRECINCT PEOPLE, THAT WAY WE CAN HAVE A BIG EFFECT ON THE PARTY WHEN WE TAKE CONTROL OF IT.

FRENCHY

REPUBLIC OF TROUT CREEK, MONTANA

Very good for you, Frenchy!  I hope you stick with politics because the "mad people" need to be replaced or reformed.  It seems that ALL organizations become corrupt over time.  TP groups will follow that pattern if allowed.  Best to you...

Congratulations!!  You made the RINO's mad!! You are my hero!Get with your local TEA Party group and encourage them to join you.  Need help--go the the Precinct Project here:  http://theprecinctproject.wordpress.com/  it is working in many states but IS an up hill battle.

To everyone else: Get involved where it will do the most good and that is at the County level.  Make the effort to become part of the local party.  The Rino's are entrenched because WE let them....just like we let them win at the ballot box.  If you don't get involved at the local level you hand the RINO's the next election. Considering a 3rd party is foolish because the TEA Party can't even take over the Repubs and they are ripe!!!! (but we are making in roads---slowly...) the TEA Party people should have OWNED the Repubs this election....  we will in 2012!!

Frenchy:  Thanks for your efforts. Please don't get discouraged--you are an inspiration to other Conservatives who may be contemplating a run for public office.
As a proud Tennessean myself I agree with the need to stop Corker.  Please put Alexander on the 2014 to do list since he is even worse when it comes to conserative issues.

I know Lamar Alexander will be targeted in 2014, but for now we must look at 2012. Not much we can do about Alexander for awhile. We can however, keep Americans informed when he votes like a RINO and when 2014 comes up, he will already be on the hot seat to move on. Hopefully he won't run for re-election and if he does, we need to have someone ready to run against him. In Tennessee we must find someone who will take Corker on.

He must go.

It's not enough to say Republicans are guaranteed control of the Senate. 60 reliable Republican votes will be needed to repeal the Socialist legislation that has been passed in the last two years and perhaps some that was passed longer ago than that.
Ray, thanks for your insights. Your message about fully checking out candidates makes good sense.
Not only do we need to concentrate on these 5 rinos, but I also believe we need to do some more deep research on all of the republicans and determine if they are true conservatives. If a republican member besides these 5 listed is also a rino then we need to also spread the data on them and dump them also.
How do you like your RINO steak, rare, medium or well-done? Frankly I don't care for RINO myself.
2012 and again in 2014 we have alot of work to do. We will have to watch and fight for along time to come. Apathetic was the role the American people played in the progressive take over and now we cannot afford for that to happen again.
