Just in case you were not aware, there are massive double standards for the government. It is very Orwellian as all are equal, but some are more equal than others.
What has happened now that shows in the eyes of our government, some are more equal than others?
Floyd Corkins, the man who shot and wounded a guard at the Family Research Council last week and but for the heroism guard, probably would have committed a mass murder, has been indicted by a Federal Grand Jury in Washington.
He’s been indicted for Interstate Transportation of a Firearm and Ammunition, assault with intent to commit murder while armed and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Corkins went to the FRC, started shooting and when he was stopped, he begged not to be shot saying that he had nothing against the individuals, but he did not like the politics of the FRC.
In other words, he attacked the people at the FRC because they are conservative Christians. Floyd Corkins was not indicted for a hate crime.
Gee, if a Christian had attacked a gay group based on his dislike of their politics and their opinions, do you have any doubt that there would be a hate crime charge?
Hate crimes are reserved for the favored political groups. In America, there is a concept called equal justice. You can be the richest man or woman in the county, the state or the nation and you are treated the same as the poorest man or woman. You can be the most hated and despised man or woman in the nation and you get a fair trial. You can be a totally disgusting individual but if you are the victim of a crime and the police can catch the perpetrator of the crime, you get your day in court, just as if you were the President of the United States.
This is no longer true. Thanks to the hate crimes statutes, we have separate and unequal justice. If you are deemed to be a member of a special group, you get special protections. If you are not, then you do not.
Why did Corkins go to the FRC with 15 Chick-Fil-A bags in his backpack other than to send a message when he killed those people?
So the message from the Obama Regime is clear. If you are a victim of a crime, you are equal but there are some victims who are more equal and who will get better justice

Hundreds of thousands of poor, innocent young children age 5, 6 are being condemned to a lifetime of poverty and illiteracy in our nation’s public schools. There is not a single Democrat representative in the House of Representatives or Senate, willing to do what it takes to save our children now!
Mitt Romney has referred to this disaster as the “civil rights issue of our era,” and the Republican National Committee’s published policy on education is now clear, simple and to the point:
“We believe that maintaining a world-class system of primary and secondary education with high standards in which all students can reach their potential is critically important to America’s future. We believe parents should be empowered to send their children to the school of their choice.”
Yet, the public is led to believe that Republicans are for the rich and Democrats are for the poor!

Permalink Reply by Herrmann Glockler on August 22, 2012 at 7:44pm There is another double standard that is right now front and center before us.
One side says Conservatives are making war on women, by not allowing them to have abortions, which of course is only discussed in concept of the one percent of abortions, rape victims.
At the same time, the democrat-organized and supported OWS 1%ers have been accused of many rapes within their ranks, but rarely if ever has there been a word condemning the OWS organization for these crimes by the Dem's nor the LSM. Additionally, we have at least one multi-rapist in the highest ranks of the Dem. political circle, Bill Clinton, accused and, except for some Dem blowhards, accepted rapist of at least two women, Juanita Brodderick and Paula Jones, (some stories include in these rapes Hillary Clinton), but hardly a word of condemnation from not only the LSM, but more damning even the Democratic party.
With far more justification than the accusation of the "war against women" by Republicans I can therefore argue the Democratic Party supports and promotes raping of women.

Permalink Reply by Dick Neusse on August 23, 2012 at 10:58am If you saw the movie, Rob Roy, remember his wife was raped and became pregnant to scum nobleman. Rob Roy raised the boy and loved him as his own. Super commendable. I don't know if abortion was available in the those days, but he could have cast the boy away as seen later in "Oliver Twist", unwanted children.
Rob Roy later split the nobleman rib cage top to bottom. Who didn't cheer?
Rape is horrible, I cannot imagine even if I was a women how I would feel being pregnant of the scum that caused it. The baby, though, is a living and growing child. The horror of rape is at least worthy VERY significant prison term. Please save the baby and put up for adoption. But who can condemn the victim for aborting? No I.
Permalink Reply by Randy Jefferis on August 22, 2012 at 8:26pm Hate crime laws by their nature afford unequal protectiion under the law. Hate should be a consideration in sentencing. And I beleive should be judged harshly based on degree. I am confused. I am white, but do I receive the protection of hate crime legislation if someone burns a cross in my front yard because I have a black son-in-law, who I happen to be very proud of?

Majority Leftist academics admit discrimination against minority conservatives.
Science & facts suffer from unrestrained Leftist bias:

Taxpayers & taxpayer parents should move to defund public universities, until "diversity" and "tolerance" are restored. Jerk leftist professor asked me the other day if I had heard anything about raises --- as if they should be exempt from their messiah-made depression.

Permalink Reply by Donald A. Richards on August 23, 2012 at 7:01am It should come as no surprise that the Obama administration does the things that it does or that the media runs the cover ups for him. If you have not seen Dine D'Souza's excellent documentary "2016: Obama's America" you should make it a point to do so. He calls a spade a spade.
As for Eric Holder's Department of Justice enforcing the law equally, take a look at its record. For instance, New Black Panther Party voter intimidation and bounties on people's heads, Fast & Furious, attacks on voter ID laws and attempts to enforce immagration laws, etc. Holder is the most corrupt AG in memory serving the most corrupt and partisan president this country has ever had. Richard Nixon was until now the most corrupt president we'd ever had; however, Obama makes him look like a choir boy.
