Nancy Pelosi is running for the House Minority Leader.  It is official.  And it is also official that I am endorsing her for minority leader.

 

Have I lost my mind?

 

Not really.  While some people have accused me of being a few fries shy of a Happy Meal, I am completely serious.  I want Nancy Pelosi to be the Minority Leader.

 

Fresh off of her spectacular success in taking the Democrats from a significant majority to being significantly in the minority.  Under Nancy Pelosi, Congress has become one of the most despised organizations in the Country.  Americans trust ambulance-chasing lawyers and used car salesmen more than they trust congress right now.    Give Pelosi another month or two, Nigerian Internet scammers will be held in higher esteem that the members of the Congress of the United States.

 

I received a call today from a friend who asked me about the Tea Party supporting Heath Schular for minority leader.  After checking Schular out with my friends in the North Carolina Tea Party groups, I realized what a bad idea that would be, on several fronts.

 

Besides, there is the outside chance, Schular could be competent.  We know Pelosi and we know she is not.

 

I am not complaining about Nancy Pelosi leading the minority.  As I like to tell people, ‘never complain about incompetent opposition.  They could get better.’

Just a thought for the "Damn the torpedoes" crowd. Anyone who has ever worked with nuts and bolts knows you can't just unthread a rusty bolt. Every few rounds you must go the other way to allow the rust to disperse. If you don't do this the rust will jam up in the threads and cause the bolt to break.Taking back America will be a lot the same . We will have to pick our spots to GIVE a little to allow our opponents time to see the light, and a reasonable way to come to our side or else we risk breaking the bolt and loosing everything.

I have to agree with Ronald, she is a snake & I simply cannot see her changing. (That goes for our prez as well.) I understand your logic, Judson, but at the same time I simply cannot see San Fran Nan doing anything but damage to congress. I've listened to that woman & I really think she's the one who is shy of a few fries of a Happy Meal! BTW, I don't think she has her plane any more. I do think that she's very angry & is willing to do just about anything to get herself back in congress again. I was surprised b/c I figured she would walked away b/c it was a demotion in her position...but now I really don't think that's the case any more. She's up to no good. Get rid of her like Ronald suggested with the snake. That's what we would do with a snake out here in AZ.

With the condition of our world today, we need a sense of humor to keep us sane.

And, keep our eye on the ball.

Just like a good baseball team, we need a double or triple play now and then to keep up the interest in the game.

To Mr. Phillips,,,,I could be wrong,,,but minority leader is STILL a powerful post in congress. She has almost single-handedly RUINED this country,,,,in a trickle down from BHO to Joe B. to HR to her highness. We want her OUT,,,,,PERIOD. Let her run for DOG Catcher in SF & catch her sister mongrels on the WRONG coast,,,,she has done enough damage,,,it's time to go. The Moderate or fiscal Dems LOST & we are STUCK with the LIBERAL Dems in the HOUSE. The LAST thing we need is Pelosi in charge
of an ALL-LIBERAL Minority party.
It's TIME for her to GO.. Take her fat pension & her special H/C for life & GO.......PERIOD

Nancy Pelosi will take every opportunity to make the Republican look bad by not playing by the rules. She can get away with gangster type acts where the Justice Department will look the other way. The Republicans can’t do that. She will take every opportunity to destroy the Republicans by the 2012 elections. I'm sorry but I agree with cutting the head of the snake and separating it from the body. She is evil, and it will be pay back time by undermining everything the Republicans try to do.

I couldn't agree more. She is up to no good. First, she says she's retiring; then after listening to her fellow cronies, she
wants in again. She is evil in every sense of the word. She will never change; all she can do is wrong for this country.
