John Boehner is so anxious to fly his freshly laundered white flag of surrender that he goes out of his way to do it.
At his Thursday Press Conference today, he really stepped in it.
He was asked by the drive by media what he thought about Michele Bachmann’s allegations against Huma Abedin.
Does Boehner do the intelligent thing?
You’re kidding right?
Here is what happened:
Q: Speaker Boehner, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann…specifically mentioned Huma Abedin, the deputy chief of staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and basically said that she had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood through her family and they also showed that the State Department’s policies have become more friendly to the Muslim brotherhood and other Islamic groups. Do you have this concern — do you think it’s appropriate that she and these members would ask for this letter, especially as a member of the House Intelligence Committee?
BOEHNER: I haven’t seen the letter, but — I don’t know Huma, but from everything I do know of her, she has a sterling character. And I think accusations like this being thrown around are pretty dangerous.
Does Boehner not think or does he just enjoy gratuitous attacks on members of the Tea Party Caucus who object to his freshly laundered white flag of surrender?
He hasn’t even read the damn letter and he wants to say accusations like that being thrown around are pretty dangerous?
What accusations are those John?
In her letter, Bachmann mentioned that Huma Abedin’s father was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, as is her brother and her mother is involved in the Muslim Sisterhood.
What accusations? Those are facts.
If Boehner had been more interested in reading the letter than getting his next cigarette, he might know that she was only mentioned and the letter itself focused on the Muslim Brotherhood.
Perhaps Boehner could have used his brain and simply said, “I have not read the letter and until I do, I would prefer not to comment on it.”
No, that is too obvious.
The Muslim Brotherhood is in the thick of Islamist activities, not only in the Middle East but here in America. Perhaps if Boehner would spend less time on the DC Party circuit and more time doing his job, he might know this.
The Muslim Brotherhood is a threat to America. It is working diligently to transform the Middle East into an Islamic Caliphate and would like to see our American Republic turned into an Islamic state.
Any group that wants to overthrow our government and replace it with a theocracy is dangerous.
If you want to tell John Boehner that next time he should read something before he attacks another Republican for the benefit of the drive by media, you should. His office number is 202-225-6205.
