And Republicans believe Mitt Romney can win!
What this probably means is that if you think your candidate (or the candidate you're stuck with) can win, you're more apt to give them money and support to help them out. If you think your candidate is going to lose, then you'll keep that money in your pocket and wait around until the next election cycle.
At least that's my take. And we all know the candidate with the most money, usually wins.

"Obama is just JIMMY CARTER II"? Ha!
Jimmy Carter can't hold a candle to this guy, as the worst president.
I'm beginning to wonder if we shouldn't think about giving B.O. a glimmer of hope somehow!
Why?
Because it might be possible that the DNC Convention might jump ship and nominate somebody like Billary Clinton! Well known, she's now got her International bona fides and so on....
Just thinking about an end run. There are many ways that we might win a battle and lose the war!

Maybe this is the "Hope and Change" we were promised by Obama. He drives the country into the ground then we hope it will change if we boot him out.
Permalink Reply by joana briggs on June 7, 2012 at 4:16pm Now that there is some serious vetting information coming out about Romney's business and governmental leadership I am back looking at Ron Paul. Romney is a Republican candidate no doubt but I am an independent conservative. He does not match my ideas of what it will take to turn things around and on our way to a Constitutional Future. I am in Wisconsin and have been able to be part of re-electing Scott and Rebecca. Their integrity and consist willingness to stand up for principle over pressure is why they won. Most of us working were not working for a Republican but for the Constitutional future of our state. Watching the national response has been interesting as it has expanded voters vision of what is possible even in these times. So I am considering a Ron Paul win.
Ain't gonna happen joana. Romney may have his baggage but Ron Paul has really fooled you.
Permalink Reply by Virgil Kerry Lundy on June 7, 2012 at 4:46pm Joana if you place so much value on integrity, you should look somewhere other than Ron Paul. He claimed he was drafted into the US Air Force that was a blatant lie. I am a retired US Air Force veteran and can tell you the Air Force has never drafted anyone. We always had more than enough volunteers. He signed off on racist newsletters and then denied it. He says he opposes earmarks and votes against them so he he just places his earmarks in bills that he knows will pass without his vote. Ask him how those parking lot and street lights that were funded through his earmarks are working. In my opinion Ron Paul has no integrity. BTW the majority of his military service was in the Air National Guard. Vote for Ron Paul if you want to but in doing so you may as well vote for Obama.
Permalink Reply by JC Patriot on June 7, 2012 at 4:54pm Back looking at Ron Paul? Are you smoking dope or what? We all know Romney is not close to being a true Constitutional conservative, but Paul alternates bragging about his voting record with submitting pork requests, and he wants to let the radical Iranian leaders do whatever they want to Israel. He has trouble speaking in complete sentences because he gets confused, and yet you would consider putting his finger on the red button?
Geez, let him run the fed and do us all a favor.

It's time to put down the bong and clear your head.
Permalink Reply by Scott Worne on June 7, 2012 at 5:36pm Joana......Romney is more Conservative then Ron Paul ever will be. Wrong Paul is a libertarian/socialist at the least. We will never have the perfect candidate. We have never had the perfect candidate. Even Reagan was not the perfect candidate! We have to vote for the one that is best for our country. Wrong Paul would be almost as bad for our country as Obama is! Paul is an old nut job and can never win against Obama. Anyone using Romney care as a reason not to vote for Romney is very ignorant. He has said many times that he will get rid of Obama care!
Permalink Reply by robert moore on June 7, 2012 at 6:06pm Sorry kiddo, but a vote for Paul is also a vote for the "o" at the same time..... whether intended to or not. But to your other point, what the conservatives must do now is to start "pounding" into all of the other republicans heads that we are serious and we want real change....not reach across the isle crap...and if they can't do the real change that needs and has to be made then we will replace them next time around. .I told of friend of mine just yesterday that we need to send Mitch Mac and Johnny B a box of gonad seed and bottle of miracle grow.
