The Democrats are taking campaigning to a new low. While generally every campaign is a new low for the Party of Treason, this one is really low.

Video "trackers" are a mainstay on the campaign trail nowadays. Dispatched by candidates to shadow their rivals, they lurk in the crowds and the receiving lines waiting for the opponent to slip up, then capture the embarrassing moment on camera and post it online.
But this season, Democrats are taking the practice to a new and, some say, uncomfortable level by recording the homes of some Republican incumbents.
Two of the recent targets this year have been Ohio Rep. Jim Renacci and Wisconsin Rep. Reid Ribble, whose homes appear in roughly 30-second video clips posted online.
“It really crosses a line,” Ribble told Fox News. “I think it’s fair game for a tracker or the other party to tape what you’re saying. But this doesn’t do anything for them or the political process. And quite frankly it really disturbed my wife.”
In the Ribble video, posted online June 18, his Wisconsin home is filmed from several different angles on a windy day. It's unclear whether anyone was home when the video, which has no sound, was shot. The Renacci video follows the same formula -- straight, raw footage of the congressman's home posted to YouTube.
Democrats are defending the practice. They say the videos of GOP members' homes -- which are generally spacious, nice-looking dwellings -- expose the fact that congressional Republicans used this session to help the wealthy and themselves.
Republicans are typically wimps so I really don’t expect them to do anything. They are like Mitt Romney. They show up for debate club while the Democrats are showing up for fight club.
If the Republicans are serious and want this stopped, there is a simple way to do it. Send out trackers to the Democrats’ homes. Shoot video of their homes, their cars, their kids’ schools, everything.
Then put out a simple message. Either homes, families and children are off limits or we are going to hit you harder than you hit us.
Anyone remember Sean Connery’s great line from the movie “The Untouchables?” “If he puts one of yours in the hospital, you put one of his in the morgue.”
You cannot play nice with Democrats. At the ballot box they must be defeated and when they pull these kinds of stunts, then something else must be done to get their attention.
Will the Republicans quit being wimps? I doubt it. Will the Democrats keep this nonsense up? Probably.
But, if the Republicans would simply stand up once, this would not happen again.

Once a home to election winning conservative thought and conservatives in general the GOP's position on the political spectrum has been defined by the left. The GOP has abandoned its conservative base in pursuit of center-left positions on nearly everything that matters. Every Constitutional freedom you find as endangered is caused by the left's direct assaults and the the GOPs failure to defend those freedoms. Case in point, bailouts in 2008, the creation of DHS, and the signing of the "Patriot Act", just to name a few, a real conservative would not have done any of these. The GOP is finished without its conservative base yet they court disaster at every turn. Sadly, too many Republicans will accept the ongoing games in which the choice between candidates is usually a choice between bad and worse. Just like in this years elections.
Debrajoe, the GOP is doing this to themselves, Judson is just pointing out the obvious.
Permalink Reply by Bruce Donnelly on No, you've got it wrong this time, Judson. Instead, track down the trackers. Post videos of their homes. Publicize their addresses, phone numbers, and emails. Expose them via Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. Call attention to their actions in their local community, such as local media or any other channels. Scare the hell out of them. Don't do anything to defame them, because since they are not "public figures", they could sue for that. Just vigorously exercise your right to free speech by exposing them to voters in their communities, and exposing the campaigns who have hired them to engage in such tactics. Give them such a high profile online that it will be hard for them to ever get a real job, because anybody doing a background check will easily discover what untrustworthy dirtbags they are.
In summary, make the Dem tracker job the worst mistake of their short lives. Remove their anonymity. Make sure that everyone knows what scum they are. That will make it harder to find volunteers to do such work.
Permalink Reply by Scot Sheely on I agree with you, Bruce, and want to add to that: capture the bad guys AT the GOP events, WHILE they are in the act doing their dirty deeds. EXPOSE THEM to the light of day, show them for the fraudsters and total scumbags that they really are. I have seen them at Tea Party events in the past, they are quite easy to spot because their mannerisms, manner of dress and the very words that they use are radically different from the average Conservative.
Furthermore, none of us are limited by any campaign laws by posting videos, montages, compilations and original works that highlight and expose the radical left at its worst. It's not just tit for tat, it's how we will defeat the radical communist liberal agenda once and for all. Show them for who and what they really are. Scumbags.
