Under the Obama Regime, we have crony capitalism. Now we also have crony justice. Crony justice is a stable of third world dictatorships. With crony justice, the Regime takes care of its friends and punishes its enemies.
Are we seeing crony justice in America now?
The Federal Government filed a lawsuit against Sheriff Joe Arpaio today in Arizona. The lawsuit alleges that The Maricopa Sheriff’s office violated the rights of Hispanics by enforcing the law.
Only the Obama Regime would make this kind of stuff up.
While the Department of Justice is trying to sue a major critic, someone who has launched an independent investigation into the eligibility of Barack Obama to be President, the Attorney General is about to be held in contempt of Congress for failing to turn over relevant documents about the “Fast and Furious” investigation.
In a press conference today, Sheriff Arpaio fired back at Attorney General Eric Holder telling him to clean his house first.
One of the complaints in the Department of Justice lawsuit is that Sheriff’s Deputies will detain people who cannot speak English to determine if they are in this country legally.
D’oh!
If you cannot speak English, there is a very good chance you are in this country legally. All legal residents, who are not citizens, are required to carry their immigration papers on them as a condition of their visa or their residency. Of course this is what Obama is upset about. He wants to pander to the open borders/amnesty crowd.
While the Obama Regime sues a Sheriff who is enforcing the laws of his state and the nation, inquiring minds want to know why Jon Corzine has not yet been indicted.
You remember Corzine. He is a former Democrat governor and United States Senator. He was the head of MF Global when it crashed. $1.6 billion dollars disappeared, including money from individual investors. This is Bernie Madoff level fraud.
Where is Jon Corzine’s indictment?
Until recently, Corzine was still a bundler for the Obama reelection team. He was bringing in a lot of money to help Obama get reelected.
So let’s get this straight.
We have a Sheriff who is known as America’s toughest Sheriff, who is being sued by the Obama Regime for enforcing the law. What the Obama Regime wants is the Sheriff to stop enforcing the law. An Attorney General who is ignoring lawful subpoenas from congress is suing him. The same Attorney General is refusing to turn over materials to Congress and will soon be cited by the Congress for contempt of Congress.
Meanwhile, we have a major campaign contributor and bundler for the Obama Regime’s reelection efforts who is very complicit in the disappearance of $1.6 billion dollars from a New York clearing house and who has apparently violated a number of federal criminal offenses as he brought down this business.
Yet he is not yet indicted.
Welcome to America. The new land of crony justice.

They won't 'get away with it' but they will try it, as crazy as it sounds. Stack this on top of every other form of drivel that has failed coming from Obama and Co. Talking to democrat friends and neighbors, seeing daily news blogs of fiasco after nutty statements by Dem. leadership is adding up to a very loud and noticeable "WTF???" coming from the democrat voters and America in general. There will be no 'getting away' with anything for Obama at all, but he can sure make one HELL of a mess! Yup, brother, they get it and know just what they are trying to do.....manufacture the biggest bureaucratic disaster in American history. If they can't have America.....they don't want ANYONE to have it!

Instead of randomly trying to find out if someone is illegal or not, looking for paperwork during traffic stops or any of the other completely useless Sheriff Joe does why not just go after what they are here for - JOBS. The I-1099 form makes it a federal offense to employ anyone who is in this country illegally thus can not provide the simple documentation requested on said form. If the financial penalties were large enough and the associated penalties stiff enough no employer would even consider taking the risk to employ an illegal.
No fence needed. No border control agents. No useless chasing like Sheriff Joe wants. Eliminate the jobs they are able to get and you eliminate their desire to come here. Why does the TP never broach the subject of going after the employers of illegals?

All we have to do is pass E-Verify, a bill currently pending in Congress, which will require all employers to ascertain whether or not their employees are eligible for employment in this country, using a system that already exists and is free to use. Here is a link to NumbersUSA, a conservative advocate of E-Verify.
If we can get E-Verify passed, 99% of illegal immigrants will self-deport, at little or no cost to the taxpayers, because they won't be able to work.
