Across the nation, there are many battles where conservatives are fighting RINOs or liberals. In Indiana there is an epic battle between a conservative and someone who is, well not a conservative.
Who is the non-conservative and who is the conservative you need to know about?
In 2012, the crown prince of RINOs Richard Lugar is seeking reelection.
Lugar has been in Washington for 35 years. The word careerist comes to mind. Richard Lugar is one of those Republicans who is always reaching across the aisle. He manages to compromise on conservative values but some how never gets any reciprocity from his liberal friends on major conservative efforts.
We can thank Richard Lugar for helping to us have liberal Supreme Court justices. He supported the radical Ruth Bader Ginsberg and the radical Elena Kagan and the radical Sonia Sotomayor.
Richard Lugar loves the DREAM Act and is one of the main Republican voices for Amnesty. He even refused to join other Republican Senators in a lawsuit against Obamacare.
Can someone please explain why Lugar is a Republican? Is it they just don’t let Democrats into his country club?
Richard Mourdock is currently the Treasurer for the State of Indiana. He has a consistently conservative track record. He is pro-life, supports the Second Amendment, opposes wasteful government spending and puts America’s interests ahead of Barack Obama’s interests.
You can tell a lot about someone by their friends. Richard Lugar was a co-Chairman for Barack Obama’s inauguration.
Richard Mourdock’s friends include: David Bossie of Citizens United, Mark Levin, The Eagle Forum, Eric Erickson, Freedom Works, the Gun Owners of America, Hoosiers for a Conservative Senate, Minuteman PAC, Morton Blackwell, National Association for Gun Rights, and our good friends at Tea Party Express.
Richard Lugar’s conservative friends are…. Well, Richard Lugar had a conservative friend, but he hasn’t been heard from in years.
2012 is the year our country lives or dies. We must get conservatives into the Senate and we must get rid of the RINOs who just want to compromise and reach across the aisle. Remember, as we say at TPN, when compromise is your goal, surrender is always your first option.
We need a Senator from Indiana who will not surrender. We need a Senator from Indiana who remembers what he believes and why he is going to Washington. We need a Senator from Indiana who is a conservative and not one who plays one on TV.
We need Richard Mourdock in the United States Senate.
He is a conservative you need to know about.
Richard Mourdock’s website can be found here.
Indiana’s primary is on May 8th. Take a look at Richard Mourdock. All campaigns need both money and volunteers. See if you can help Richard Mourdock send the crown prince of RINOs into retirement.

Permalink Reply by Kay Wiskirchen on December 9, 2011 at 12:43am I just wish I could contribute to campaigns such as this one. It is so hard to do when you have so many expenses. Thanks to Obama care I have to spend an extra $264 dollars in medical insurance a month. This has put my retirement income so low that I have not been able to take a vacation in many years. We definaetly need to change some of our senators around and elect better candidates than Lugar.

Permalink Reply by john everhart on December 12, 2011 at 3:15pm I was born in & live in Indiana, 63 yrs. I am telling you Lugar is the MOST Rino of all the Repubs. The day after NAFTA took effect in the 90's, He locked the gates on a factory he had part ownership in in INDY. 4000+ jobs gone provedly to Mexico in ONE day. I invite you if possible to check it out. Guess how he voted concerning NAFTA??? Don't tell me how good FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS ARE, or how they help us in the export arena. For every $1 we export, we import $5-$6-$10. I can take you to several places in Indiana where the businesses were closed & relocated in Mexico. $15-$18 jobs went South, & the workers ended up in $6-$8 jobs. AND NOBODY can figure out where the tax base went to !!!!!!!!!!!Incredible.
Permalink Reply by Marsha Henney on December 13, 2011 at 10:01am The news in Indiana gets even worse. It appears a former Republican candidate for House of Representatives, Bob Thomas, is considering entering the race for Senate on the Republican Ticket. Basically, this entry would be as detrimental to Richard Mourdock' s win as what Ron Paul as Independant would be for the Republican presidential nominee. Thomas's entry would divert just enough votes to give the seat back to Lugar. Indiana and the country cannot afford one more term from Lugar. It's believed that the Lugar camp has approached Thomas knowing he doesn't have a chance but giving great promises for future rewards. Personally, I would not put it past the RNC for making such a move after seeing what they did with Crist against Rubio, Castle against O'Donnell, and Murkowski against Miller last year. Ugly! If there were ever a time for the Indiana conservatives to stand together on an issue it's now. Hold the line and elect Richard Mourdock. Get his name into the ears of as many people as possible and send money to his campaign.
