Conservatives you need to know about: Greg Sowards
The year of the Tea Party Senator rolls on. There is one race that is flying under the radar. The primary is coming up in less than two weeks and this is an important race.
This is the New Mexico Senate seat of retiring Democrat Jeff Bingaman.
It could be a pick up, if the Republicans do not screw it up. Napoleon is credited with saying, if your opponent is destroying himself, don’t get in the way.
To keep this seat, all the Democrats may have to do is not get in the way.
Greg Sowards is a conservative. He a small business own and a veteran. He is a good guy who would make a good Senator. There is just one thing that stands in his way of the Republican nomination.
That is Heather Wilson.
Heather Wilson is a former New Mexico Congressman. She is one of those worthless RINOs who basically has no beliefs other than advancing her career.
Unfortunately for America, the Republican National Senatoral Committee is supporting her. If they are able to push her through the nomination, the Democrats will destroy her.
Why?
It is because of who she is and her past.
She loves big spending. Freedomworks gave her a rating of 40%. In 2006, the National Taxpayers Union gave her a whopping 39%. In 2007, the American Conservative Union gave her a rating of 60% and in 2007 the Club for Growth rated her at 10%.
In short, she is no conservative.
But this only gets worse.
She is married to a man named Jay Hone. First she helped him get a government job paying $93,000 a year. But what she did after that was worse.
In 1993, Hone was accused of inappropriately touching a teenaged boy. It is important to note that as far as I can tell, he was never charged or convicted of any criminal offense related to this incident. It was only an accusation.
Heather Wilson was appointed Secretary for New Mexico’s Children’s and Families Department. Three days after she took the job, the file relating to the accusations against her husband disappeared. Wilson was confronted by a TV station, first denying taking the file and then later admitting it.
If the Republicans in New Mexico are dumb enough to nominate this flawed and disgraced candidate, does anyone imagine she has a prayer against any Democrat who can fog a mirror?
Can you imagine the negative ads that will come out against her?
The New Mexico primary is June 5th. If Wilson is nominated, her candidacy will be dead on June 6.
Greg Sowards is a fresh alternative. He is a conservative businessman who can win the election this fall.
Why the Republican leadership has this obsession with supporting candidates who not only not conservative but are so flawed they are unelectable?
Greg Sowards is both conservative and electable.
But he must win first.

Why, indeed? Might it be that the Republican leadership's conservative bloviations are just so much hot air that they are using to pump up the rank and file?
After all, it is the wealthy "donors" who have bought and paid for both of our worse than worseless political parties who will always reap the greatest financial benefits when governments become larger, more burdensome and spend more money. Regardless of where and how additional spending is directed from The Treasury, once spent most of it will continue to flow through the nation's financial system until it comes into the possession of someone who is already wealthy enough that they don't need to spend it. There it stops and the rich get richer while most of the middle class working people struggle to tread water under the burden of the tax load that their labors support so that the revenue streams that they produce can continue to provide the tax payments that is flowing into and through governments where it continues to flow until it reaches and further enriches the already rich.

This will be up to the people of New Mexico, at the voting booth. If possable, the Tea Party, our organization, as well as the New Mexico branch, should run comercials, lots of comercials in that state. The motis operandi, for the left, is to lie, we must counter with the truth.
