Concentrate On The Important
It's too late now to question Obama's birth certificate. It would take divine intervention to remove him from office based on his birth location. Instead, we should be concentrating on national security and the massive debt we are incurring. We cannot influence events if we bicker over triviallities. Let's band together for what's truely important.

I agree with the general thrust of this argument. However, there are two important aspects of the controversy that should still be addressed.
First, the fact that the states have not been requiring proper documentation of candidates. This should be something that goes without saying. Any Secretary of State who allows anyone on the presidential ballot without having provided a long form certificate should be held to answer for failing to carry out their duties.
Second, the courts have been dismissing many of the lawsuits over the certificate on the issue of "standing to sue." They are claiming that they average citizen is not harmed when a candidate without proper documentation appears on the ballot. I disagree with this view. It is my position that every citizen is harmed, and the courts are derelict in their duty to protect the constitution when they take this position.
Thus, there are two aspects of this that need to be addressed, sooner or later. Sooner would be better.

I think I would add leaving all social matters to states to decide. Let's take care of what is important as a nation to survive and thrive, and national security and the debt is #1 and #2 as you said.

These are all good points, however I believe we should give this country back to GOD and then let him guide us out of this mess. Read Romans chapter 1.
