Well her we go.  He is barely sworn in and he is on the take.   So this is how he pays all of us who contributed to his campaign and helped to get him elected.  15 billion more dollars shot to --ll.

Jerry,
How is it that we have taken our eye off the ball? People are complaining to the congress and the senate. Did you read my post about what Brown is saying about health care now that "we are not in campaign mode." I provided a link. Rome is burning alright and the people who are supposed to be representing us will not even put a water hose on it. How do we stop them? Tell me I'll do it. This is not so much about Brown as it is about corruption and deceit. People are willing to say anything to get elected.
Baby steps people.... I'm definitely not happy about the vote either, but Senator Brown told us he would stop the healthcare bill, and he has and will.
This is still a growing movement, so we have to take our victories when we can get them. Let's celebrate the death of the healthcare bill, and move on to other things come election time. We won't change this country in a day, but let's keep taking what we can get!
I did not know that the health care bill failed! When did that happen? Weren't they planning a bi-partisan meeting to discuss this BILL! The progressives were planning a reconciliation vote -last I heard!
I understand the disappointment in Sen. Brown. But what about the 10 other Republicans that voted for it also. Nobody is giving them any grief.
Take a look on page 5 of this discussion. I have posted 5 names of Republicans that stand with Brown. We just need the names of all ten and then we contact them with our comments.
50% RED is better than 100% Ted!

He never ran as a Tea party Candidate or as a "right wing conservative"......he's going to give us more than Coakley! It was a win.....
No one's going to like what I'm about to write, but I'm not sure Brown did the wrong thing. I'm not sure because I don't know what the vote counts are in the Senate, how likely or unlikely it is that this bill would pass on an up-or-down vote. If, however, the votes aren't there, that the bill is going to fail, I believe Brown did the right thing. I believe it is better for the bill to fail on the merits than to be prevented from failing. On the one hand, going down to defeat - especially if there are Democrat defectors to help it go down - is the proper operation of the Senate in action. On the other hand, I believe it is better to stand and be counted among those who oppose this bill than to hide behind a parliamentary maneuver without committing one's self to any side.

I certainly don't want this bill to pass, but I don't think that a filibuster would have been the right way to defeat it.
I hear you Enoch. But while the tide continues to turn in your favor, delaying tactics are a good thing! The filibuster was a mechanism to allow them to continue to fry in their own fat! Delay the vote!
