BREAKING NEWS! Obama may have to prove his eligibility for office in the Georgia Primary!
Great news! Some dedicated heroes in the Great State of Georgia filed a lawsuit challenging obama's eligibility to be on the upcoming presidential primary in Georgia. Orly Taitz is one of the lawyers representing plaintiffs.
obama filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit. Apparently, his argument was that the Georgia statute didn't apply to him [after all, he is the "one" we have been waiting for].
Just a few hours ago, the Georgia judge ruled, "oh, yes it does apply to obama" and DENIED obama's motion to dismiss the lawsuit.
Of course, the law suit isn't over. This ruling just means that the law suit may continue.
So! The next step for plaintiffs' lawyers is DISCOVERY! [The most beautiful word in the English language]. This means that plaintiffs' lawyers can demand that obama produce all the documents and records which reflect on his eligibility to be president.

Pennies from heaven!
It's hard to get one's hopes up though...perhaps there is a birth certificate, or an evaluation of "natural born" in this living document, yet to emerge...
I recall a challenge to emerge this week from the legislature of a New England State! A press conference, but I cannot find a reference at the moment. One can only hope....

Well, I expect the evidence will show that obama was born in Kenya of a Father who was a subject of the British Crown - thus, obama was born a British subject. I expect the evidence will further show that via his indonesian step father, obama acquired indonesian citizenship; and that there are papers signed by obama when he was over the age of 18 showing he claimed indonesian citizenship.
I have been following Orly Taitz, Esq's work on the "birther" issue, and believe she has already acquired such documents. At least, I have seen them here and there on the internet. Thanks to her and to the other lawyers who has been litigating this eligibility issue in the federal courts.

Oh, I know he traveled on a non-US passport to PakiLand.
In '81, I needed Senatorial and State dept. assistance and a reason to get a Visa! Brits could travel freely: my partner was a Brit M.G in that adventure. No way could a U.S. college kid tourist get there. Not legally, on a U.S.Passport.
Perhaps an Indonesian passport? I don't know.
And, I have faith in Orly. But the guy has survived for years....

I don't know about a case in Alabama. But the Georgia case shows us that the way to challenge obama's ineligibility under Article II, Sec. 1, clause 5, U.S. Constitution, is to file in our State courts challenging his qualifications to be on the upcoming election ballots!

Its a start. The best thing that could happen for us is if Obama could be kept so busy trying to defend himself that he was unable to run an effective campaign. If this gets enough traction the mainstream media will have a difficult time ignoring it.
In February there should be more fireworks when Sheriff Joe Arpaio's cold case posse comes out with their preliminary report on Obama's eligibility to be on the ballot in Arizona. 2012 should be an interesting year.

Here is an intriguing question: If it is determined that Obama in ineligible to run does that automatically mean that he was never eligible to run? If that is true and he is denied eligibility in a sufficient number of states that it becomes impossible to win or have won the required number of Electoral College votes to become president, does that make the 2008 election result void since he never was eligible?
If it is determined that the birth certificate and other documents submitted by the White House are forgeries would that mean that he is now holding office as a result of election fraud? AND if he was never eligible, there was at least one certification to the State of Hawaii that declared he was Constitutionally eligible that, I believe, was signed by Nancy Pelosi and others.
Is it possible that this could lead to the draining of the swamp promised by Pelosi and a bunch of legislation that does not have a real President's signature on it???? Dare we hope?

Well, we are not a people who drain the swamp. We are a people who tend to leave the past alone and move forward. I don't see any of our elected or appointed "leaders" draining the swamp. Remember, the swamp needs draining b/c of their inactivity or indifference. And we kept electing the same ineffectual people to Congress and the Senate.
And there is something to be said for not punishing - by criminal prosecution - elected or appointed "leaders" who have breached their trust. Power changes hands more easily if the ones who loose their power do not have to fear criminal prosecution by their successors.
IF we elected people of Principle to Congress, they could undo everything that obama did. Problem is, we do not seem have any people of Principle in this Country to elect.
And none of the candidates for President seem to understand Our Constitution. Except that, and this is surprising, Mitt Romney seems to understand the concept of "federalism". In other words, the "moderate" Republican seems to understand it more than the so-called "conservative" ones. Some of the so-called conservative ones are so ignorant it is appalling.
So we need to PRAY a lot. And hope God intervenes to protect us from the stupidity & ignorance of our fellows.
