Barack Obama is stuck right between a rock and a real hard place. Just imagining how the Obama campaign must be squirming right now is good for a very long laugh.
Obama has a tough choice to make and it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
What is Obama’s rock and a hard place problem?
In two words, Joe Biden.
For Republicans, Biden is the gift that just keeps giving. He makes gaffe after gaffe after gaffe. They range from getting the state he is in wrong, to the century wrong to the classic Biden line of telling a man who was in a wheel chair to stand up.
Biden is one heartbeat away from the Presidency. Some, like Rudy Giuliani wonder if Biden has the mental capacity to be President.
The drive-by media is doing its best to cover for Biden. Unfortunately for Biden, we are living in the age of the Internet. Twenty years ago, Biden’s buffoonery would be relegated to the pages of the National Review and most Americans would never hear of it. Back, twenty years ago, the liberal cartel controlled the media. This was before Fox News. Even Rush Limbaugh was just building his national show then. Back then the media could not only attack conservatives with impunity but cover for liberals.
Those were the good old days for the left. That is no longer true as the conservative new media not only exists but also is doing an excellent job of covering Biden’s gaffes.
Obama has 22 days left if he wants to replace Biden.
Realistically if Obama wants to replace Biden there is only one Democrat he can go to with any prayer of it helping his sinking campaign. That is Hillary Clinton.
The chilly relationship between Barack Obama and Bill Clinton is well known. It would be the ultimate humiliation for Obama to have to ask Clinton to be his Vice President.
There is no indication that Hillary Clinton would even agree to something like that.
Assuming she would, Obama would have to realize from the day after his election on, he would have a target on his back. If Obama went to college as a foreign exchange student as many believe, you can count on the Clinton’s bringing it out. Obama would become the second President to resign or the first President removed by impeachment.
Obama known he is stuck. If he tries to get Hillary, he has to eat crow and will be worrying about every move the Clintons make.
If he leaves Biden on the ticket, he has to figure a way to get Biden to shut up.
Good luck on that one.

But remember, we are dealing with a guy who thinks he is above the law and can create laws to suit his own purpose over-stepping the Constitution every step of the way. He has done so many treasonous acts that he really should be sitting in prison now.... unfortunately we don't have a congress with any spine. So he will keep on keeping on what he does best... and that's lie, cheat and steal for his own agenda.
Biden was picked as VP for one purpose and one purpose only.... he is Obama's human shield so that they will be REAL careful about getting rid of him and opening up the seat to Bozo the Clown.

That woman has lived her entire life with ONE mission: to become the first female President of the US. She's still popular enough among die hard libs that she would give Obama the victory --- and being one heartbeat away it would be easy for her to make him go away like Vince Foster did. If she waited until after the election to bring out proof that he's illegal, then people would ask how long she had known about it and why not bring it out before then? I don't trust Obama, but I don't trust Hilary either. She scares me more than Obama, believe it or not. Bill was her means to the public stage --- she rode his coat tails, and guided his career when necessary. She's a female Machiavelli, imho, and the very idea of her ever become president send cold chills up my spine.

Permalink Reply by Bruce Donnelly on In theory, Hillary could help Obama recover some of the disaffected Dems. On the other hand, why would she accept and risk defeat? If she is just patient, she can run her own campaing in 2016 and start now to attack anything Romney does, while building up her base again and allowing some time to differentiate herself from Obama. If she were to run with Obama and lose, she'd have a much harder time running in 2016. Better to let Obama-Biden fail on their own, and be patient.
Permalink Reply by Nancy on I feel that they are purposefully letting Biden bloviate with every intent of getting rid of him. . .they'll let him go on and on and. . .and then at the convention claim (with violins playing in the background) that he's sick or some such nonsense and then, surprise here's Hillary (and we all know how ambitious the Clinton's are--I think they'd pick politics/party over each other; even over their own daughter if it came right down to it). This will be their last ditch effort to win over women; to get their base re-energized and they will undoubtedly threaten ole Joe that if he talks, he'll swim with the fishes in Lake Michigan after he answers to Rahm!!!
I seriously believe that they are desperate and evil enough to dump Biden because it doesn't matter to them who they have to throw under the bus to achieve their agenda and get re-elected.
